    I literally love this tutorial! My sister showed it to me, we just cut the rest of her relaxer out which was about six inches left on her ends and did the rubberband rollerset technique... we washed and deep conditioned it with OGX coconut milk and cut the relaxer out, leaving her with nine inches of hair from her scalp and did this, and it came out so volumey and full of body and natural layer! 😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗

    I'm rolling mine tomorrow. When my hair was pass my shoulders roller sets were the only styles that truly kept my hair a whole week. I never used heat. Well I went back natural and my hair is right at my neck. I curled it next day no curls. I'm not sure what I did wrong but I'm setting it tomorrow.
    Thanks for the videos

    Perfection! Will definitely be trying this tonight on 100% 4c natural hair about collarbone length. I been looking for a wrap like straight style with no little to no heat damage. Only because the tiny knots on the ends of my twist will be the death of my length If I don't prevent those knots from occurring. I can definitely see myself doing a weekly poo, DC with this easy to do style. Thank you for this tutorial now I gotta go get rollers, Infusium 23 leave in, design essentials straightening foam, good rubberbands, syran wrap and a couple big combs. This gonna be epic!

    My hair used to be that damaged to where it went COMPLETELY STRAIGHT , I stopped flat ironing for about 9 months and my curls are now about 3c with straight ends , my natural pattern before heat was a 4a-4b. Definitely trying This method

    Thank you for this video. transitioning without heat (flatirons) is a real struggle. This is a great option. I plan to try this very soon. Any tips on edges (not too oily) After about 2 days my edges get a little unruly.
    Bless you for these life changing tips. This really blessed me.

    I'm watching in 2021 after lockdown, wondering 🤔 what to do with my hair after wearing 5 basic braids under a hat for a year! 😄
    Scrolling through "roller set" videos when *the* *universe* says "DO THIS with your hair!!!" 🤯
    This is pure genius! Love the rubber bands and how you use big sections, so you don't need 200 rollers to get the look! 🙄
    Subscribed based on this video, looking forward to what you've been up to in 5 years! ❤

    For naturals who prefer not to use heat: You should stretch your hair first with a twist or braid out or bantu knots, and then do the roller set using the ponytail method for optimal stretch especially for at the roots.😊

    I'm not for sure if you addressed this already but would you be able to tell me the benefits of using the rubber bands? Does it help get the roots straighter on natural hair?

    • @soniarena5250
      @soniarena5250 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Heather McKinney I didn't hear her address this, but I would agree with you that this helps the natural hair get straighter. on my hair i think it would also cut down on frizz.

    • @mich1013
      @mich1013 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Its used to relieve tension on the roots of the hair so that it doesnt break. However, the rubber tends to pull at edges anyway, so it's better to use small elastic bands instead of rubber.

    First thing is ...I am loving the way you use the rubber band to roll your hair ... I have issues rolling my hair I do so love roller set style my hair is growing back ... so now I have a question can I use flexible rods... and I use different kind of setting lotion and the foam to wash my hair I leave Suave something with almond and honey it smells pretty good and I love the conditioner is awesome I'm trying to stay away from relaxers as well flat ironing my hair this looks like I can manage my hair this way that you have showed me to do funny thing is I don't have a dryer I probably use my hair dryer or sleep in the flex rods overnight I sure would like to get the product that you use but I don't want any tight budget I am a student you know how that goes but I really like your video and I'm surely and truly love the idea about the rubber band thanks again have a wonderful day
