No one better for proper rock, be it soft, hard or anything in between than Greg Smith on bass. His vocal harmonies are also no phucking joke either. Such a great record. Thanks for this vid.

Not even Journey's last albums since Trial By Fire compare to the songs, quality, heart, soul and amazingness of this whole album. I'm oot comparing, Hugo's Voyage carves it's own lane in music history. And I'm a huge Journey fan. It's just that amazing!

Augeri era Journey LPs are really solid. I love Valentine and Voyage, too. But what in the PHUCK are u talking about. Even Trial By Fire was made with class and oozed the JRNY pedigree. I wouldn't compare this effort to Journey around here. It's pointless, and sooner or later, a way to undermine one or anothers efforts in this case.

Journey has been my favorite band since the 70s. But if I’m keeping it real, there’s been no true “Journey” music since the TBF album. But with the latest releases by Hugo and team, all I can say is WOW! I think I found my next favorite band. Please keep making original music for all your fans. This is awesome!

I think I remember reading or hearing a while back that Schon considered offering Hugo the front man spot but was actually freaked out by how closely he resembles and sounds like Perry.
Every now n again a great aor band/ album comes out. Its steve perry but its not. Hes his own unique voice . Thankyou for keeping the sound alive.
You guys captured Journey maturity had they stayed together. I hope Steve Perry doesn't lament but instead appreciate that imitation is the highest compliment.

I just received the cd for this group, I have always been a Journey fan and could never find any other group that had the same style. I listened to the cd on my way to work today and it is AMAZING!!! I was so pleasantly surprised and definitely recommend it 💯. It took me back to my teenage years and I found myself singing along immediately. The music, that voice so awesome. ❤

If the squables between Cain and Schon continue, don't be surprised to see Schon approach these guys about becoming the new Journey. Schon would fit right in and Deen could happily share drum duties and share lead vocals with Hugo. The birth of a whole new Journey with two outstanding lead vocalists, two guitarists, two drummers, and the rest of the fine Voyage crew. Outstanding musicianship and songwriting to boot! Kudos gents!
I can hear that 80's highly melodic vibe and the Journey influence though its not an exact copy. Hugo's voice is lovely, it's a great song and production. Best Wishes to all on board trust me when I say I know how hard making progress with original music is lol!👍👍

I'm 54 and have always been a sincere Journey fan. Just picked up on Voyage after browsing TH-cam one day within the last year. I still remember watching your cover of 'Patiently' for the first time. I've been hooked since. I'm excited to hear that you'll be releasing your debut album with your own material. You are all GREAT!! Can't wait to hear more. I would put the album on my Christmas list, but I can't wait that long.

There are a few songs on the album that have the “Street Talk” feel. A few remind me of “Infinity” era and a couple of “Raised on Radio” feels too. Great album.

You guys are amazing at your Journey songs and your original songs. Hugo's looks and voice are both a stunning resemblance to Perry's. Journey was and is one of my favorite groups of my era but you guys rate one notch above them. Keep on producing more incredible songs like this one.

That said, Journey wasn't just Steve. And you guys; altogether, musically, lyrically; sound very close, more than the others I've heard. You've done something few cover bands do: put out new music that honors the band you're imitating. Also, the Ramos-Hugo record was AMAZING. Lightning in a bottle. Thanks for that too.
