@@ericlange1190 You wont be dissapointed, in fact the story is Neil Sch0n when looking for a singer was tipped to Hugo and he frea.ked out, as he felt the fans wouldnt buy Hugo in the band. He felt J0urney would become a spectacle and not focus on the entire band...As of now Hugo and Voyage are pulling in upwards of 12,000 fans per show...
I think Hugo has more natural ability to hit notes like Perry without dropping the key. His looks definitely help replace any other small differences in tone or delivery. Fact is that no one will ever sound exactly like Perry but for Hugo to have the same appearance as Steve like in a twin type of way and to hit the notes in his own way just kind of makes up for it and brings you back in time. His band Voyage is an amazing compliment to Journey's music as well. Also check out Resurrection Ryan Christopher has killer vox arguably closest to Steve Perry out there in my opinion as far as sound goes.
