Hugo has been a huge inspiration for years him, Steve Perry, Dennis DeYoung and you can put Hugo right up there in the book of LEGENDS! This is epic and Frontiers Music is the one true rock label we still have- a long history of high quality releases and excellent work. My own music is coming much slower than I had hoped, but as a perfectionist (which I'm sure Hugo is) you only want to be your best until and when you start recording. That note at the end shocked even me- wow!

EVERYTHING about this song is amazing. I honestly played it over and over 10 times like a kid. Seriously 10 times. That was yesterday. I'm on my second listen today. This song and execution just makes me feel GOOD. Every instrument is on point. The guitar solo is FIRE. The drums, keyboard and Bass are just perfect. Of course THE VOICE! Seriously??? The whole band looks GREAT! This is a 10 and beyond on every level.
It is a pastiche of "Don't Stop Believin'". Motifs from that song are cleverly worked in to spark our memories for a Journey-in-their-heyday. It is a successful result. The Inflections Hugo demonstrates is ckassic Perry.. His vocal intonation is solid and with a great range.

I read an article in one of the many different Rock Magazines I used to get that when Steve Perry left Journey, they were looking for a new vocalist and when they came across Hugo, Neal Schon said no because it freaked him out how much he sounded and looked like Steve Perry. I think it's a shame because, even though there have been other great vocalists in Journey after Steve Perry left Hugo should have been the one. It's also a shame that more people know about Hugo. (I used to play some of Hugo's past music to friends and all of them said they didn't know Journey had put out a new album. When I showed them who it actually was they all freaked out.)
Heartfelt, sincere and very melodic. The best song I've heard to come out this year. Steve Perry and Journey would be very proud of your efforts here. Keep it up!!!

In fact, Journey will be at our coliseum in Biloxi in February. I sure wish you would come down here and perform since you did mention playing at casinos.
