Sooo, I used one of those lap desks with the bean bag bottom today to place my molds and level them! And it worked well! Thank Goodness I was getting very frustrated shimming everything with popsicle sticks, Qtips, rulers, paint sticks , business cards !
would love if you put a list of what you used and links maybe? I don't know how to search for these things because I dont know the names of them except the cutting board.lol
I tried doing some links but I'm a dummy so they didn't work. The legs are called adjustable furniture leg leveling glides and the bubble levelers are called bubble levelers. I got everything including the cutting board from amazon.
@@watchmefthisup1423 I agree I always had to use stiring sticks under my moulds I am almost finished making the board. Luckily I still had an old TV table thingy that I haven't used in ages. So I'm using the top of it, which is perfect & I am using the EKET metal feet from IKEA (Article Number: 703.400.44), because they are on metal plates you can screw onto the board & it turned out great All that's missing is the spirit levels & I was super happy that I found the ones you are using, because wherever I looked the ones you need to glue on are more common it seems. But luckily I found a 6 pack on Amazon for £2.99 & it should be delivered today ☺️

Yes, it works perfectly. It's a little tricky to get it level and if I was going to make it again I would use wingnuts instead of hexnuts, because I think that it would be easier to adjust with wingnuts. I also have been using a thin silicone mat that I place on top of it, so resin spills are a lot easier to clean up.

before I made this it was frustrating, having to deal with an unlevel surface. Amazon sells a similar product now for $25-$35 depending on the size.
I made one but used feet that you screw underneath the board
It works perfectly 💕
Good idea to use cutting board if you have one. 👌
Love your video
Thank you

That's awesome
I should try making one too 🥰
Thanks. They're pretty easy to make and are a game changer for resin projects.

@@watchmefthisup1423 yah, I was already thinking if doing this as well ☺️
only issue is the screws sticking out the top. I'm thinking it would get in the way with large projects
It also needed a thin silicone mat to keep resin spills from sticking to the wood.

How would you adjust the pad if not level??
To adjust it, you turn the nuts. In the video, I used hex nuts it would have been better to use wing nuts to make adjustments easier.
Thank You so much!
What is the name of the leveling feet called
They are furniture leveling legs. I got them from Amazon.
does that help with making resin coasters?
yes, it keeps the resin from pooling to one side
Looks good but did it work? I’m haveing such a hard time leveling my work space! The resin is easy compared to this!
