We used to live in Shi-ling. We can see it every time we drive by. I always wanted to stay there even as a kid. When I go back to Taiwan for a vacation next time, I am going to stay there. LIKE 42. 👍👍👍

I just booked a room at the Grand Hotel, though it has no windows. Do you know if there is an accessible balcony where I can still take a look at the Skyline?
Have fun! I had a balcony in my room, so I didn’t look to see if there was a public balcony with views of the city. I would see if I could change to a room with a window. Definitely worth it.
Jason, you did not tell the story of the secret tunnel and purpose the slide! You should have told us WHO were behind the construction of the YUAN SHAN HOTEL! SOONG MEI LING and her adopted daughter. I’ve stayed at the Grande Hotel twice, once my first trip to Taipei in 1983 and when a friend of mine came with me to Taiwan in 1986
