While hunting here in Idaho, we had an F16 rip low thru the canyon we were in. I've no idea where he was coming from but I think he was headed to Hill Airforce Base in Utah. It was awesome!
Longshot making DCS look as easy as Ace Combat. Flying solo, doing all the work, accomplishing the objective, and casually taking down 4 hostiles on the way. Nice video!
I absolutely loooove the external shots, esoecially those filmed from above and behind, with the ground blurring underneath providing a nice speed reference. And the Viper just proves how it can do what's called a self-escort mission and that was demonstrated superbly, bravo! 🤜🤛
Everything about this video and engagement was outstanding! So much really cool details during your flight and the fight between the bandits. Loved watching your low level flight. That was awesome!
Good video. I love getting to see these videos with a lot of pressure. Also shows pretty darn well the difference between an F-16 and those Mig-29s. Makes sense why the Ukraine sees it as such an upgrade

Im curious as to why a 184 wasnt used..? Especially on the pop up, its not much but it can give you that extra second or two. That was some unreal flying man. The whole mission rocked.
Do you mean the AGM-154, the JSOW? The viper (at least in DCS) can only carry the A model with cluster bomb submunitions, they wouldn't do squat to hardened structures.
@@tylerouimette2934 OH! Ok, I get what you're saying now! His crew chief was definitely picking sand and bits of the bushes out of his intake by the time he got back, so maybe it's just as well he didn't take it with this time lol
Nice sortie and nice flying. Superb filming and angles. May I ask, do you combine recording as you fly with recording from the track after or do you try and record everything while flying, including external views?
6:40 , How you make that camera shake while looking at the aircraft, and please if you can give me few tips on how to get really good shots / cinematics, I would like you suggestion / video link, Because I haven't found really that explaining properly about cameras. Thanks, and btw just subscribed, I really like DCS content like that and you nailed it for me.

The modern version of this mission would face Egyptian Patriots and S-300s supported by Buks, Tors, Crotales and Iris-T SLS/M with AWACS support and modernized MiG-29, Mirage 2000, F-16s and Rafales!!!
Hey Longshot it's a bit controversial... Given the current sickness going on in the West regarding turning a blind eye to war crimes, I hope you don't continue representing any current sides until this is all over.
@@675Films This is not about policing other people's action, this is about being sick and disgusted of war crimes in the news, and when you try to unwind and watch one of your favorite channels, bam, you're thrown back to the news you were trying to avoid. I've played all sorts of milsim and rts, fps over 20 years, but I can't enjoy "playing" a violent game depicting actions happening as we speak. Feels like eating foul meat. Of course I have the option not to watch, which I will do, but that's a loss for me because I loved this channel.

Objective fixation. So busy trying not to get blown up by a missile that they didn’t pay attention to the upcoming terrain.
You could say and it's very possible, but since that Mig-29 is AI flying idk, AI flying error maybe?
