    Hey Cuz,
    Very Nice Indeed!
Honestly, your production was clearly presented & your advanced knowledge of the equipment & materials was obvious! It’s amazing what all goes into this paint shop project!

Great video, was having a hard time finding any good video on wiring up these compressors. Do you by chance know if this would be the same wiring for a eaton b27cge40 starter?

Appreciate the kind words Ethan. I struggled to find a video on this myself thus the reason I made this one..to answer your question, yes - it's the exact same principle, the eaton b27cge40 is a 1 phase starter & is wired up the same way. Where I wired the outlet you'll have the starter in its place. I like your use of the starter way better than my outlet, I may have to upgrade....
With it pulling 40 amps be sure to use 8 gauge wiring when installingit. Hope that helps!

@@projectx2.718 Yea mna it this video is a gem for any guy like me who cant figure out how these are wired up. Couldnt find so much as a diagram. Mine is actually set up like yours, in a control panel on the compressor. Im torn between wiring a plug and outlet or just hard wire it. The other thing i was stumped on was it looked like the pressure switch had both leads running to 1l1 and not 2l3. Should it be running to both? Could have been me who moved it who knows. Bought this compressor as with no plug. Thanks again!

@@ethanhall5501 - the 2 pressure switch wires; white goes to 1L1 & black to 3L2 from the factory. If you go to my part 1 video ( th-cam.com/video/YXLui_TNky4/w-d-xo.html ) @ 7:35 you can see the 2 pressure switch wires coming into the top of the box & going to the 1L1 & 3L2. Hope this helps!
Personally I've never seen both to the same terminal

@@ethanhall5501 Hard-wired vs outlet: yesterday I had to move my compressor & being unable to just unplug it vs. disconnect the wiring was nice...just food for thought depending on how much it may or may not need to move in the future

Lol, I like it! I recently bought all the stuff to add a 3/4" water hose connection over the winter for pressure washing. I figure then can use it as either a pressure washer or as a water jet for cutting 1/2" steel plates

Not saying this won't work , it will , but of your shop ever burns down your insurance will be denied . Not to code .

Thanks for the input, what could I have done differently to bring it up to code?
