the box that yo call its real name is a Mag switch and 50 amps seems a bet low on start up on true 7.5 Matt at Eaton told me years ago 20-25 percent the running amps 55-75 amp on standard breaker your can get a 50 time delay breaker that will work
Awesome…. After running a few hours, I found oil seeping from various bolts Around the compressor. After tightening, no problem. You may want to look for this as some of my bolts were not tight. It is a nice unit!
Had the same issue. Emax does have a schematic for wiring, but you do have to dig around. The thing is a beast.
Well done video
@@David-n4c6q have been happy with mine… had an issue with the pressure switch, but the service was responsive and helpful
Thank you for posting this, I was having a hard time figuring it out!
Thank you!
Nicely done Sir.
That thing is a beast!

20 gauge wires go to pressure switch this is the signal when cut off pressure is reached it tells the mag switch to cut the motor off
Is the electrical plug an acceptable way to connect? Or does it need to be direct wired?
Absolutely.. I used an electrical plug. Just make sure it’s 50amp rated.
Could you hypothetically convert 208v to 240v & vise versa?
From 0 PSI to full, how long does it take?
Haven't needed to turn it on in a while.. Timed it today at 4 minutes 35 seconds from 0 to full psi.
Mine should be delivered end of April
