    What appeals most to ME is that is he not only playing Schubert--he is giving us a bit of himself as well so that the music is some of the most sensitive I've had the pleasure of hearing. Thank you for sharing!

    Raffinata e coinvolgente lettura di uno Schubert poco frequentato, il mio LP acquistato negli anni' 70 si è praticamente consumato con i frequenti ascolti. Grazie a chi ha caricato il materiale perché è introvabile sul mercato. Grande Paolo Bordoni.

    One says “well, I'll listen two or three minutes” and it's impossible to stop... Only great Artists do this effect. The way Bordoni plays is absolutely marvellous.

    Questo disco fu uno dei primi 33 giri acquistati dai miei genitori nella seconda metà degli anni settanta, quando iniziai a studiare il pianoforte e ad innamorarmi, per sempre, di Franz Schubert. Ecco perché mi emoziona rivederlo, sapendo che mio padre lo conserva ancora gelosamente. Una sola osservazione, fatta a suo tempo anche dalla mia prima insegnante di pianoforte: l'immagine in copertina (vedi la posa e l'espressività dello sguardo di Paolo Bordoni) è del tutto fuorviante rispetto alla musica e anche alla sua interpretazione, oggettivamente di tutto rilievo.

    @LucaCiammarughi Many thanks for another wonderful upload. I've had the whole set of Schubert's small (but wonderful) waltzes by Bordoni, and Bordoni's playing was absolutely graceful. Schubert, the Melodist, in these waltzes instead of approaching by harmonic variations, gifted us with LOTS of melodic variations. Incredible genius... Bravo Paulo Bordoni !
    PS. Bordoni is not the only great Italian pianist little now: Paruzzo and his wonderful Schumann too is little known. Pity !
