Thanks for clarifying, I remember seeing a lot of places that dmg vulnerability is better than def shred and at s0 (not counting ult vulnerability iirc) his dmg vulnerability is better than pelas def shred by a decent amount
dmg vuln is just yet another stacking shred, similar to res pen shred being able to stack on top of def shred, def shred does have a hard cap at 100%, so having other sources aka vuln/res pen etc, do increase your dmg a decent amount. but yes, you are right, the vuln is secondary its only in theory you are able to get this def shred super high, which isn't really possible unless you get e2 sparkle and run a 0c comp with another def shred. the stacking is what is insane, sw + pela will have way bigger numbers overall, but the stacking is what makes him insanely strong over sw pela/other nihil teams
For me (as an E0 Gamer) I'm looking for him to Apply a New Debuff. Vulnerability is So Rare that getting +30% on top of all the Def shread is what will actually Push Acheron over the line (while also Generating frequent stacks for more 1 turn ults on an Atk boots Acheron).
I do think that diffrent kinds of debuffs make damage sorta multiplicitive. More def shred? Additive. Both def shred and vunerability? Multiplicitive as its a set of diffrent kind of debuffs
Someone calculated JQe0 pela vs silver wolf pela and silver wolf pela team had higher damage the only selling point of jiaoqiu the devs nerfed him that bad so he doesn't excel in both debuffer and dot

I was so ready to skip him but then I saw a video of robin/JQ/aven/Acheron and now I must get him. Even now when I run the team with BS instead of JQ for now it’s actually really fun
@@Vash_wrio the video is taken down but when he gets early access you’ll definitely see it again. It looks like JQ can basically solo charge Acherons ult. You can even run QPQ Gallagher to help with robin ult. My own personal change to the team is to run robin as fast as possible so that she can recharge her ult before Acheron even has the chance to attack during her downtime.
me too. I really like having my Acheron E0S0 running with Robin and Aventurine, currently only having Pela as debuffer in the team but I already feel comfortable running them, didn't feel so slow charging Acheron ult so I'm happy. With Jiaoqiu in the team, that would just be even more fun. Can't wait for him tbh
Honestly this guy has me torn. We went from people calling him absolute trash to now being her best teammate. I will find solace in the fact that you said he is not super needed especially for E2, because I just don't want to spend pulls so lightly on a character I do not enjoy just for Acheron to be slightly better (the battery thing is easily amended by having Sparkle, Bronya or speed boots ok Acheron, so there's that). Plus, getting him means giving up on someone else I'd want instead of him. So while I acknowledge he is veey good, the edge he has over the rest is not enough to justify pulling for him.
People call him trash because he is only truly relevant for Acheron team(s); anyone claiming he isn't a decent upgrade for Acheron is coping like there is no tomorrow. It's your prerrogrative whether he is worth ~90 pulls (average amount of pulls it takes to get a limited 5*) just for one team instead of saving for units like Sparkle or Robin (let alone Ruan Mei) who are way more universal and provide better value for most accounts. I plan to pull for him (only because my E0S0 Acheron's performance is pitiful) but if I lose 50/50 it's not worthy to me to pursue him any further.
He always is the best Acheron teammate, he was made for Achreon in the begining but he is trash for everything else and also not a big upgrade from Guin. Honestly, just pull for an E2 Acheron is much better to pull for him imo
He is objectively the best teammate for her. That said while i haven't done any of the story content etc yet so opinion could change, I dont really care for him as a character or design wise so for now I'm still thinking about e2 more for acheron than a premium battery
The way it is, he isn't bad. He's just not broken anymore. He's a decent unit. But problem is, are you really killing pulls to get a slight upgrade? Vs units that offer wayyyy more versatility? Honestly, that's up to the players. I spend money, and even I'm skipping his mid ass. He's just not it for my acheron, she's e6 too xD. My money ain't worth it for him anymore. It was before he got gutted.
I guess the upcoming patches are more taylored towards new or returning players. Everyone else who already have at least 3 maxxed out teams can skip these patches. Jiaoqiu is a better Pela with some qol improvements, Feixiao seems like an Acheron for FUA teams, Yunli is an overhauled Clara and Lingsha is pretty much a gallagher with some FUA abilities. Nothing long time players would necessarily need.
I don't understand how people can say he is bad; he can give 59% vulnerability with his lightcone (35% normally) and an additional 15% ult vulnerability. Vulnerability is the same type of debuff topaz has except instead of just benefitting followups its for all types of damage and he has perma uptime on multiple enemies.
Its not that he’s bad, but you can’t deny he’s not as “fun” as his original kit i.e being able to provide a little bit healing which is unique and no 6 times cap on ashen roast triggered on enemy
He's not bad, buts he's not worth your pulls good for a slightly better upgrade than what we currently have. And I freaking have e6 acheron.... LMAO. Im not wasting a single pull on this clown. He was worth it before getting nerved over and over. But even I won't cope my money on mediocre 5 stars.
Not going to lie, not having a single Pearls LC for my Pela is making him very tempting. Problem is I'm at 20 pity and I really want Feixiao and her LC. I almost have enough saved to guarantee this. Whaling is sadly not an option. 😅
i’m thinking about doing Acheron, Black Swan, Jiaoqiu and sustain as my team. Jiaoqiu and Black Swan both have pretty good dots. My black swan easily does at least 10-20k dots so adding on Jiaoqiu’s (while definitely weaker than hers) still isn’t that negligible when paired with her i hope. It seems like a really fun team and i’m excited to try it out
Applying stacks outside of a character's turn is my turning point. I'm disgusted how kafka+bs works really well to my acheron to a point were i can 2 ult in 1 cycle just bcoz of those mechanics Kafka/bs + acheron is my team for end game contents, then peela and welt is day to day team
My main team is Kafka, Black Swan, Ruan Mei and Huohuo and i've been building up another team. I have Archeron at E2, Sparkle, Jiaqiu and Fu Xuan however I've noticed guides say to make sure Jiaqiu is faster than Archeron (which mine is) but when gearing Sparkle it says to either for for -1 or 160+ speed. Which should I be going for as the majority of the guides didn't get updated after Jiaqui came out. I also have Adventurine but guides seem to indicate Fu Xuan and Adventurine both work equally well and I have Fu's signature light cone so using him currently.
Help! Im E0S1 Acheron haver. Have a Pela E6S3 Pearls, Sparkle E0 S3 DanceDD and Gepard E0S3 Trend. I do around 400k consistent with 500k max with this team without like extra buffs n stuff. Is Jiaoqiu necessary for me? Plus I wanna get a better sustain, namely Aventurine and possibly Eidolons and a lightcone for Sunday. To make things worse, I really wanted Feixiao and her lightcone but my team is pretty sub par and won't help her do much damage. I just need another wind DPS besides my Blade 😢
As I said in this video, Jiaoqiu is not necessary by any means, either for E2 or E0 Acherons. He is INSANELY good for the team, being the absolute best partner, and also being able to make E0 Acheron teams with Jiaoqiu rival E2 Acherons that don't have him, you can tell his potential is really high. But you also gotta consider how good Acheron is without him, with a team like yours she's at like 90-100%, with Jiaoqiu it'll just take you up to 110-120%, still way better, but not needed. Especially if you're looking for something important, like another sustain (especially Aventurine), so your jades clearly can be used elsewhere.

You'd replace SW with Jiaoqiu since Pela's ult being AoE DEF shred is better cause Acheron is AoE. If you run into SP issues somehow though, then you could technically run SW over Pela, but for the most part Pela and Jiaoqiu will be good
As an E2S1 acheron haver, i will probably just spend 30~40 pulls and see if he comes. He is a powerful unit and provides a lot of value, but current e2 acheron teams already can clear all the content so easily that spending a lot of pulls on him seems kinda overkill.
I'll be spending on him as an E2S1 Acheron because I want to lock in Acheron as a confident clearing team for time to come. I have 2 strong teams, E2S1 firefly and Acheron but both cannot survive the power creep of time unless I commit to one. One will eventually get powercrept, and Acheron seems more future proof
Whats better for stacks,JQ or trend on a preservation? Im asking because i have an e2s1 acheron and from what i have seen he does not sinergize well with trend,but if he gives more stacks maybe its worth it because i can put gepard or aventurine with their sig lcs and get a bigger shield
Imho, Trend is luck based and getting stack equally to JQ ult at its best. The thing is whether Aven or Gepard LC really worth using that much over trend? My Gepard has no issue providing enough shield and I run Trend with not that great relic and for Aven….I don’t pull for him or his LC so idk.
Jiaoqiu is way better. The only thing is, Jiaoqiu has capped amount of ashen roast on his ult, but that's only noticeable in PF (which is fixable too by herta shop LC), trend requires your sustain to be hit, while Jiaoqiu guaranteed provides it on enemies turn with ult up, ontop of that you get a juicy ult vulnerability that will be applied to enemies, so your Acheron hits that much harder. And like you said, you can get bigger/better results by using their signature LCs over trend, especially with Aventurine who would gain vulnerability via his FuA, which is good for all damage AND is another source of stacks for Acheron.
@@suwoteit's worth noting that enemies won't attack in all of their turns, jiaoqiu still stacks even if the enemy is buffing themselves instead of attacking
As much as I enjoy a Acheron(E2S1) team, I want to wait for Feixiao because she looks strong as hell and I like the design of her character. Maybe I'm just your average coomer that sees beautiful characters and I gotta get em. Is the difference in damage with Jiaoqiu compared to Pela(E6) really that worth it in spending 90 pulls with my already destructive Acheron?
Jiaoqiu is better yes, but like you said, Acheron is already so powerful, it's like taking your team from 100% to 120%, while he may be the best teammate, he is nowhere near needed. So if you think you want to spend those pulls on another character for a different reason, then it might be better to do just that.
I thought about it and I just realized if I got him I’d have to replace black swan and I just sorta like black swan more so I’d rather not replace her on the team
A good black swan will offer as much stacking power as JQ but the Acheron DMG won't be as near as much with a JQ. Don't worry about JQ if you have BS unless you want to free up Ruan Mei for another team because JQ rivals RM in damage when on Kafka BS team
If the stacks from his ult weren't capped, he would be insanely "broken", as if was in the last version of the beta, he is moderate powercreep of Pela, not broken, nor required, someone did the math, it's less than 20% overall dmg increase.
i was gonna pull for him (e1 acheron), but i guess ill go for sparkle and get her e2 when she comes back later this year, sparkle is just more valuable as a unit overall.

Jiaoqiu and pela is the best team comp with a sustain or a buff since jiaoqiu also inflict his ashes which decrease def like pela but its different than exposed so it could be stackable

As someone who try both Robin (E0S0) and Sparkle (E0S0) with Acheron (E2S1). They both use the same cycle in MoC, but Sparkle is more comfy and easier to play as Robin ult in the wrong time is huge waste of potential. My team is (Gepard(E3) Acheron BlackSwan (E1) Robin/Sparkle) For JQ and Pela, if you are using preservation with trend Lc to generate Stack, I think Pela. But if you are not, I think JQ.
Robin is just really good her too, she's good with practically anyone that isn't break. You can use her just fine, but like the other person says, imo Sparkle does feel a lot more comfy to use. Ontop of that you'll gain a broken amplifier for others if you take her off the Acheron team for whatever reason. Robin works really good, Jiaoqiu provides a LOT of stacks and a better debuff. So ultimately in this scenario it depends on if you seek that more comfy team usage, or better stack gain. Both are extremely good options.
I have e2 acheron, and I have sparkle. Would getting another copy of sparkle be better than getting Jiaoqiu. Sparkle is more universal, and her e1 is insane. Jiaoqiu is way better for PF though. Pretty tough decision.
As a non sparkle haver, I think jq is better since you already have so much "buffs" with sparkle and too much can make you have diminishing returns so having a 100% online debuffer is better. Its the same case with jingliu, too much raw stats buffs which makes debuffers increase her dmg more. But lets see when he releases
I gave it some thought and Acheron is by far my most strongest and built character with her light cone but she does fine with Pella and Silver Wolf. She can basically clear any content so the value for pulling Jiaoqiu is really low unless you don’t have 2 Nhility characters.

I have Acheron , Aventurine and Pela…Though they aren’t exactly at their prime since I do not know what Planar sets they use , I know Aventurine uses Def% Set , Pela Wind Dmg Set and Acheron as Debuff set But what are their planar sets?
As a rule of thumb, run broken keel if you can get away with it. However, if you have a sparkle, run vonwacq or forge set for 160 speed if you're trying to reach 160 wind set on sparkle with DDD because that's huge for acheron
i have robin,topaz,sparkle,ruan mei,but not aventurine,and i also started to farm jades and levelup items for feixiao,should i get her or should i save my jades for other rerun characters? (i dont have rate up for both chara and lc banners)

How much of an increase would he be over BS using E0S1 Acheron? So far he only seems to be "worth" it for Pure Fiction, even though ever since Acheron came out I've always managed to 12* all of PF's except just one.
Difference will be noticible, the vulnerability scaling better compared to the def lower from BS, while also genning you more ults than anyone can, even out of PF, he's just the best option. But, as mentioned in the video, you can still survive perfectly fine with just characters like Black swan, he's just there to take you above 100%

I'd lean towards Black Swan personally, if you have Welt or Guinaifen, you can easily put them on the Acheron team, and then Black Swan will open your secondary DoT team with her and Kafka, ontop of that, Black Swan as of now is more usable on more variety teams than Jiaoqiu is, so she'll benefit your account going forward on a few fronts as opposed to just an Acheron team

@@The_CodFish69 I find Acheron fun to play. I use black swan Aventurine sparkle and kafka with her. I know Pela is amazing. I have insane relics on her too but I simply don't find her fun to play. That's the reason nothing more. I like the other characters more. I may use her when he comes out mby it will change what I think about her. but there doesn't have to be a big reason and play the best of the best i clear the content in the game just fine
@@The_CodFish69 not necessarily. Pela wants to use her skill more for debuffs while Jiaoqiu is fine with doing normal attacks with a skill every now and then, making the SP economy much better. Pela can use normal attacks as well but she won't inflict debuffs. This means that Acheron gets her ult up slower. But with Jiaoqiu, it's a much quicker pace and feels vastly different because he inflicts so many debuffs from normal attacks, skills, ultimate, and even during the enemy's turn. Also, the biggest perk of him is that his debuffs carry over to the next wave while Pela's doesn't. So if you are forced to use Pela's ult just to kill the enemy before the cycle ends, you'll have no ult up for the next wave which sucks. Jiaoqiu doesn't have that issue. Not to mention that JIaoqiu doesn't have to stick with Acheron, even though he's her best support. He is very good in the IPC FUA team and can easily replace Topaz, being a much less costly alternative in order to get all the debuffs for Ratio while being just as if not better. He is also a sidegrade to replace Ruan Mei in DoT, leaving you able to pair your Ruan Mei in a break team or just about any other team since she is universal. He's just a good option for PF in general because of his debuffs lasting through waves, which makes him the best debuffer for the gamemode by far.
@@The_CodFish69 you use Jiaoqiu and Pela for MoC and PF. But for AS, replacing Pela with SW yields better results. And in fact, Robin can perform better than Pela, even with e0s1 Acheron. Cornflake's newest video shows that with Pela against a high lightning res enemy, she cleared in two cycles. Meanwhile with Robin it was a one cycle clear. Robin, Ruan Mei, and Jiaoqiu are all sidegrades of each other for DoT. There's showcases proving that. There's also showcases of Jiaoqiu performing on par or even better than e1s1 Topaz on the IPC team at e0s0. They also show that he can get away with using mostly basic attacks and then just a few skills every now and then. And most of the time they only use his skill because they are overflowing with skill points or at the beginning of the battle to get his ult up. It's not that common to not have his ult up at all. Look on any Jiaoqiu video on Cornflake's channel. The limit on his stacks literally does not affect anything except PF. And the herta LC removes that issue altogether. I don't know why you're bringing up Feixiao's teams here when I haven't mentioned her once. Even though her teams also has some members from the IPC team, Jiaoqiu has nothing to do with that conversation. And I don't know why you keep on bringing up the "gameplay loop". 90% of characters play the same way just in a slightly different way. Most of them use skills, sometimes basics, and then use their ultimate. Wow. It's like that's how the game works in the first place. The key difference is what I mentioned earlier: Jiaoqiu is much better getting Acheron stacks. He makes Acheron's gameplay much faster pace and in that sense, it IS a different playstyle. He makes her basically go x2.

Now RM is stuck in break team so JQ could have been good on dot as a ruan mei replacement... That's why I asked.. but may indeed sparkle will give overall more value for upcoming chars too..
If you're set on getting Acheron E2, 100% recommend Sparkle. Even if you had Bronya, the upgrade is really really nice, and since there already are really good debuffers you can use, Sparkle overall is just the better choice.
Sparkle for sure. Especially if you have Pela or SW. Jiaoqiu has an edge to pela but sparkle is better, in fact even with e0 Acheron, a good Sparkle with SW/pela can be just about equal to a SW + Pela.
I also would go with Sparkle, she is very optimal for E2 Acheron. The CD buffs, action forward, dmg dealt and atk% all in one is extremely valuable. Will mention, there is SOME talk that Jiaoqiu might be so good to the point and E0 Acheron + Jiaoqiu can rival an E2 Acheron with Sparkle, but even if it does, Sparkle will still be very optimal, but if you can wait a little longer before this is fully tested/confirmed, either or is a very good choice (though, personally id still recommend Sparkle over Jiaoqiu since she has more uses outside of Acheron than he does as well.)
As much i want sparkle, maybe i gonna go for jq since i plan to give herta lc to him. Gonna coop hard with bronya in term of sp 😂. But i think she work fine for now. Jiaoqiu, he is going to be better than BS on the team, as I mentioned he is THEE best Acheron teammate. Only thing you have to consider is, Black swan has more uses outside of just one team, she works great as an overall def debuffer, and is broken on a DoT team, while Jiaoqiu is kinda just, locked into only Acheron atm

Black Swan would be overall better for an account since she has more uses, BUT: If you plan on specifically making your 2nd team Acheron (assuming E0), and want to keep it like that, Jiaoqiu will be infinitely better, as he is absolutely insane for an E0 Acheron specifically

I hot a E2 Archeron and I am unsure whether I should pick up Jiaoqiu or sparkle. I originally planed to pull for Jiaoqiu because I already have a bronya with her lc, but sparkles Crit DMG bonus is quite juicy (i could pick up her lc as well…?). What would you do?
I'd still go for Sparkle imo, Bronya is good and all, but the jump Sparkle gives is just absolutely stupid, dmg dealt, crit dmg spike, atk%. Not only that but she allows the team to constantly spam skill, so you don't have to be conservative at all as opposed to Bronya

I do not have a full fledged opinion on that as of yet, but I would not be surprised if it is. Jiaoqiu + E0 Acheron will still generate more stacks than Sparkle + E2 Acheron, while also providing vulnerability rather than just self buffs (Sparkle CD given/dmg dealt and slight atk%) So in this instance, it does become personal preference if it does remain true. Obviously Sparkle + E2 Acheron is more expensive, but in the end I cannot say for sure if either or has the slight edge or not. So I usually recommend Sparkle until more info/getting to try myself to see if it ends up working better/output ends up being better.

The fact that Jiaoqiu defence shred (vulnerability) is about 35-40% and the fact his defence shred can coexist with pela or silver wolf debuffs means that they can almost 100% defence shred with his lightcone 😭. That's INSANE
@@L19h7 vulnerability can be diminished, ff teams with v1 lingsha will be reaching 87% total vuln with both at e0s1 for example, in this situation def shred would become more potent again
I have acheron e2 and been playing her with sparkle and thinking to replace sparkle for him in pf and replacing sw for moc and apocalyptic shadow but I don't have any dps to play my robin with and she's been collecting dust on my acc so I'm torn between him and feixiao :(
Gaining more 2 stacks because of a new unit is not that big of a deal. A high spd build sw and pela like 170-180 can compensate that problem jiaoqui is not that good as what people think after his massive nerfs.@@Exodia_99
@@theconman6505trend is NOT consistent, it's kinda rng cuz you need the sustain to get their ass beat compared to JQ's vulnerability which has a 100% UPTIME and is way more consistent in generating stacks...

dmg vuln is just yet another stacking shred, similar to res pen shred being able to stack on top of def shred, def shred does have a hard cap at 100%, so having other sources aka vuln/res pen etc, do increase your dmg a decent amount. but yes, you are right, the vuln is secondary its only in theory you are able to get this def shred super high, which isn't really possible unless you get e2 sparkle and run a 0c comp with another def shred. the stacking is what is insane, sw + pela will have way bigger numbers overall, but the stacking is what makes him insanely strong over sw pela/other nihil teams

For me (as an E0 Gamer) I'm looking for him to Apply a New Debuff. Vulnerability is So Rare that getting +30% on top of all the Def shread is what will actually Push Acheron over the line (while also Generating frequent stacks for more 1 turn ults on an Atk boots Acheron).
I do think that diffrent kinds of debuffs make damage sorta multiplicitive. More def shred? Additive. Both def shred and vunerability? Multiplicitive as its a set of diffrent kind of debuffs
Someone calculated JQe0 pela vs silver wolf pela and silver wolf pela team had higher damage the only selling point of jiaoqiu the devs nerfed him that bad so he doesn't excel in both debuffer and dot

@@Vash_wrio the video is taken down but when he gets early access you’ll definitely see it again. It looks like JQ can basically solo charge Acherons ult. You can even run QPQ Gallagher to help with robin ult. My own personal change to the team is to run robin as fast as possible so that she can recharge her ult before Acheron even has the chance to attack during her downtime.

me too. I really like having my Acheron E0S0 running with Robin and Aventurine, currently only having Pela as debuffer in the team but I already feel comfortable running them, didn't feel so slow charging Acheron ult so I'm happy. With Jiaoqiu in the team, that would just be even more fun. Can't wait for him tbh

Honestly this guy has me torn. We went from people calling him absolute trash to now being her best teammate. I will find solace in the fact that you said he is not super needed especially for E2, because I just don't want to spend pulls so lightly on a character I do not enjoy just for Acheron to be slightly better (the battery thing is easily amended by having Sparkle, Bronya or speed boots ok Acheron, so there's that). Plus, getting him means giving up on someone else I'd want instead of him. So while I acknowledge he is veey good, the edge he has over the rest is not enough to justify pulling for him.
People call him trash because he is only truly relevant for Acheron team(s); anyone claiming he isn't a decent upgrade for Acheron is coping like there is no tomorrow.
It's your prerrogrative whether he is worth ~90 pulls (average amount of pulls it takes to get a limited 5*) just for one team instead of saving for units like Sparkle or Robin (let alone Ruan Mei) who are way more universal and provide better value for most accounts.
I plan to pull for him (only because my E0S0 Acheron's performance is pitiful) but if I lose 50/50 it's not worthy to me to pursue him any further.
He always is the best Acheron teammate, he was made for Achreon in the begining but he is trash for everything else and also not a big upgrade from Guin. Honestly, just pull for an E2 Acheron is much better to pull for him imo

He is objectively the best teammate for her. That said while i haven't done any of the story content etc yet so opinion could change, I dont really care for him as a character or design wise so for now I'm still thinking about e2 more for acheron than a premium battery
The way it is, he isn't bad. He's just not broken anymore. He's a decent unit. But problem is, are you really killing pulls to get a slight upgrade? Vs units that offer wayyyy more versatility? Honestly, that's up to the players. I spend money, and even I'm skipping his mid ass. He's just not it for my acheron, she's e6 too xD. My money ain't worth it for him anymore. It was before he got gutted.
I guess the upcoming patches are more taylored towards new or returning players. Everyone else who already have at least 3 maxxed out teams can skip these patches.
Jiaoqiu is a better Pela with some qol improvements, Feixiao seems like an Acheron for FUA teams, Yunli is an overhauled Clara and Lingsha is pretty much a gallagher with some FUA abilities. Nothing long time players would necessarily need.
I don't understand how people can say he is bad; he can give 59% vulnerability with his lightcone (35% normally) and an additional 15% ult vulnerability. Vulnerability is the same type of debuff topaz has except instead of just benefitting followups its for all types of damage and he has perma uptime on multiple enemies.

Its not that he’s bad, but you can’t deny he’s not as “fun” as his original kit i.e being able to provide a little bit healing which is unique and no 6 times cap on ashen roast triggered on enemy

Not going to lie, not having a single Pearls LC for my Pela is making him very tempting.
Problem is I'm at 20 pity and I really want Feixiao and her LC. I almost have enough saved to guarantee this. Whaling is sadly not an option. 😅
i’m thinking about doing Acheron, Black Swan, Jiaoqiu and sustain as my team. Jiaoqiu and Black Swan both have pretty good dots. My black swan easily does at least 10-20k dots so adding on Jiaoqiu’s (while definitely weaker than hers) still isn’t that negligible when paired with her i hope. It seems like a really fun team and i’m excited to try it out
Applying stacks outside of a character's turn is my turning point. I'm disgusted how kafka+bs works really well to my acheron to a point were i can 2 ult in 1 cycle just bcoz of those mechanics

My main team is Kafka, Black Swan, Ruan Mei and Huohuo and i've been building up another team. I have Archeron at E2, Sparkle, Jiaqiu and Fu Xuan however I've noticed guides say to make sure Jiaqiu is faster than Archeron (which mine is) but when gearing Sparkle it says to either for for -1 or 160+ speed. Which should I be going for as the majority of the guides didn't get updated after Jiaqui came out. I also have Adventurine but guides seem to indicate Fu Xuan and Adventurine both work equally well and I have Fu's signature light cone so using him currently.

As I said in this video, Jiaoqiu is not necessary by any means, either for E2 or E0 Acherons.
He is INSANELY good for the team, being the absolute best partner, and also being able to make E0 Acheron teams with Jiaoqiu rival E2 Acherons that don't have him, you can tell his potential is really high.
But you also gotta consider how good Acheron is without him, with a team like yours she's at like 90-100%, with Jiaoqiu it'll just take you up to 110-120%, still way better, but not needed.
Especially if you're looking for something important, like another sustain (especially Aventurine), so your jades clearly can be used elsewhere.

You'd replace SW with Jiaoqiu since Pela's ult being AoE DEF shred is better cause Acheron is AoE.
If you run into SP issues somehow though, then you could technically run SW over Pela, but for the most part Pela and Jiaoqiu will be good
I've been running Acheron, Aventurine, Black Swan & Pela and never had any issues with this team
maybe u can keep sw for single target bosses and apocalyptic shadow (also for the purple dino), and the rest keep pela
As an E2S1 acheron haver, i will probably just spend 30~40 pulls and see if he comes. He is a powerful unit and provides a lot of value, but current e2 acheron teams already can clear all the content so easily that spending a lot of pulls on him seems kinda overkill.

I'll be spending on him as an E2S1 Acheron because I want to lock in Acheron as a confident clearing team for time to come. I have 2 strong teams, E2S1 firefly and Acheron but both cannot survive the power creep of time unless I commit to one. One will eventually get powercrept, and Acheron seems more future proof

Im asking because i have an e2s1 acheron and from what i have seen he does not sinergize well with trend,but if he gives more stacks maybe its worth it because i can put gepard or aventurine with their sig lcs and get a bigger shield
Imho, Trend is luck based and getting stack equally to JQ ult at its best.
The thing is whether Aven or Gepard LC really worth using that much over trend? My Gepard has no issue providing enough shield and I run Trend with not that great relic and for Aven….I don’t pull for him or his LC so idk.
Jiaoqiu is way better.
The only thing is, Jiaoqiu has capped amount of ashen roast on his ult, but that's only noticeable in PF (which is fixable too by herta shop LC), trend requires your sustain to be hit, while Jiaoqiu guaranteed provides it on enemies turn with ult up, ontop of that you get a juicy ult vulnerability that will be applied to enemies, so your Acheron hits that much harder.
And like you said, you can get bigger/better results by using their signature LCs over trend, especially with Aventurine who would gain vulnerability via his FuA, which is good for all damage AND is another source of stacks for Acheron.
Imo it's not worth it. Trend will give you stack the same if you just put Trend on Gepard since he will be hit almost every time due to his trace.

Is the difference in damage with Jiaoqiu compared to Pela(E6) really that worth it in spending 90 pulls with my already destructive Acheron?
Jiaoqiu is better yes, but like you said, Acheron is already so powerful, it's like taking your team from 100% to 120%, while he may be the best teammate, he is nowhere near needed. So if you think you want to spend those pulls on another character for a different reason, then it might be better to do just that.

A good black swan will offer as much stacking power as JQ but the Acheron DMG won't be as near as much with a JQ. Don't worry about JQ if you have BS unless you want to free up Ruan Mei for another team because JQ rivals RM in damage when on Kafka BS team
If the stacks from his ult weren't capped, he would be insanely "broken", as if was in the last version of the beta, he is moderate powercreep of Pela, not broken, nor required, someone did the math, it's less than 20% overall dmg increase.
The ult stack is irrelevant cause people found a way around it already for PF
i was gonna pull for him (e1 acheron), but i guess ill go for sparkle and get her e2 when she comes back later this year, sparkle is just more valuable as a unit overall.

Jiaoqiu and pela is the best team comp with a sustain or a buff since jiaoqiu also inflict his ashes which decrease def like pela but its different than exposed so it could be stackable
He applies Vulnerability, not def. It multiplies with Def down so it's better that way.

As someone who try both Robin (E0S0) and Sparkle (E0S0) with Acheron (E2S1). They both use the same cycle in MoC, but Sparkle is more comfy and easier to play as Robin ult in the wrong time is huge waste of potential. My team is (Gepard(E3) Acheron BlackSwan (E1) Robin/Sparkle)
For JQ and Pela, if you are using preservation with trend Lc to generate Stack, I think Pela. But if you are not, I think JQ.
Robin is just really good her too, she's good with practically anyone that isn't break. You can use her just fine, but like the other person says, imo Sparkle does feel a lot more comfy to use. Ontop of that you'll gain a broken amplifier for others if you take her off the Acheron team for whatever reason.
Robin works really good, Jiaoqiu provides a LOT of stacks and a better debuff. So ultimately in this scenario it depends on if you seek that more comfy team usage, or better stack gain. Both are extremely good options.

I have e2 acheron, and I have sparkle. Would getting another copy of sparkle be better than getting Jiaoqiu. Sparkle is more universal, and her e1 is insane. Jiaoqiu is way better for PF though. Pretty tough decision.

As a non sparkle haver, I think jq is better since you already have so much "buffs" with sparkle and too much can make you have diminishing returns so having a 100% online debuffer is better. Its the same case with jingliu, too much raw stats buffs which makes debuffers increase her dmg more. But lets see when he releases
Unless ur going for e2 sparkle I think jq is a better investment here

I gave it some thought and Acheron is by far my most strongest and built character with her light cone but she does fine with Pella and Silver Wolf. She can basically clear any content so the value for pulling Jiaoqiu is really low unless you don’t have 2 Nhility characters.

I have Acheron , Aventurine and Pela…Though they aren’t exactly at their prime since I do not know what Planar sets they use , I know Aventurine uses Def% Set , Pela Wind Dmg Set and Acheron as Debuff set But what are their planar sets?
Acheron izumo, aventurine broken keel or belobog if you need the extra DEF, pela broken keel or vonwacq if you want more SP/ult uptime
As a rule of thumb, run broken keel if you can get away with it. However, if you have a sparkle, run vonwacq or forge set for 160 speed if you're trying to reach 160 wind set on sparkle with DDD because that's huge for acheron

How good is e0 s0 jiaoqiu compared to e1 black swan with payn?
How much of an increase would he be over BS using E0S1 Acheron? So far he only seems to be "worth" it for Pure Fiction, even though ever since Acheron came out I've always managed to 12* all of PF's except just one.
Difference will be noticible, the vulnerability scaling better compared to the def lower from BS, while also genning you more ults than anyone can, even out of PF, he's just the best option. But, as mentioned in the video, you can still survive perfectly fine with just characters like Black swan, he's just there to take you above 100%

I'd lean towards Black Swan personally, if you have Welt or Guinaifen, you can easily put them on the Acheron team, and then Black Swan will open your secondary DoT team with her and Kafka, ontop of that, Black Swan as of now is more usable on more variety teams than Jiaoqiu is, so she'll benefit your account going forward on a few fronts as opposed to just an Acheron team

@@The_CodFish69 I find Acheron fun to play. I use black swan Aventurine sparkle and kafka with her. I know Pela is amazing. I have insane relics on her too but I simply don't find her fun to play. That's the reason nothing more. I like the other characters more. I may use her when he comes out mby it will change what I think about her. but there doesn't have to be a big reason and play the best of the best i clear the content in the game just fine
@@The_CodFish69 not necessarily. Pela wants to use her skill more for debuffs while Jiaoqiu is fine with doing normal attacks with a skill every now and then, making the SP economy much better. Pela can use normal attacks as well but she won't inflict debuffs. This means that Acheron gets her ult up slower. But with Jiaoqiu, it's a much quicker pace and feels vastly different because he inflicts so many debuffs from normal attacks, skills, ultimate, and even during the enemy's turn. Also, the biggest perk of him is that his debuffs carry over to the next wave while Pela's doesn't. So if you are forced to use Pela's ult just to kill the enemy before the cycle ends, you'll have no ult up for the next wave which sucks. Jiaoqiu doesn't have that issue.
Not to mention that JIaoqiu doesn't have to stick with Acheron, even though he's her best support. He is very good in the IPC FUA team and can easily replace Topaz, being a much less costly alternative in order to get all the debuffs for Ratio while being just as if not better. He is also a sidegrade to replace Ruan Mei in DoT, leaving you able to pair your Ruan Mei in a break team or just about any other team since she is universal. He's just a good option for PF in general because of his debuffs lasting through waves, which makes him the best debuffer for the gamemode by far.
@@The_CodFish69 you use Jiaoqiu and Pela for MoC and PF. But for AS, replacing Pela with SW yields better results. And in fact, Robin can perform better than Pela, even with e0s1 Acheron. Cornflake's newest video shows that with Pela against a high lightning res enemy, she cleared in two cycles. Meanwhile with Robin it was a one cycle clear.
Robin, Ruan Mei, and Jiaoqiu are all sidegrades of each other for DoT. There's showcases proving that. There's also showcases of Jiaoqiu performing on par or even better than e1s1 Topaz on the IPC team at e0s0. They also show that he can get away with using mostly basic attacks and then just a few skills every now and then. And most of the time they only use his skill because they are overflowing with skill points or at the beginning of the battle to get his ult up. It's not that common to not have his ult up at all. Look on any Jiaoqiu video on Cornflake's channel.
The limit on his stacks literally does not affect anything except PF. And the herta LC removes that issue altogether.
I don't know why you're bringing up Feixiao's teams here when I haven't mentioned her once. Even though her teams also has some members from the IPC team, Jiaoqiu has nothing to do with that conversation.
And I don't know why you keep on bringing up the "gameplay loop". 90% of characters play the same way just in a slightly different way. Most of them use skills, sometimes basics, and then use their ultimate. Wow. It's like that's how the game works in the first place. The key difference is what I mentioned earlier: Jiaoqiu is much better getting Acheron stacks. He makes Acheron's gameplay much faster pace and in that sense, it IS a different playstyle. He makes her basically go x2.

@@IdeasAreBulletproof I thought the same... Cause I also have jingliu,welt DPS and as I said Acheron... The thing is I also have firefly with RM and Kafka/BS. Now RM is stuck in break team so JQ could have been good on dot as a ruan mei replacement... That's why I asked.. but may indeed sparkle will give overall more value for upcoming chars too..
If you're set on getting Acheron E2, 100% recommend Sparkle. Even if you had Bronya, the upgrade is really really nice, and since there already are really good debuffers you can use, Sparkle overall is just the better choice.

Sparkle for sure. Especially if you have Pela or SW. Jiaoqiu has an edge to pela but sparkle is better, in fact even with e0 Acheron, a good Sparkle with SW/pela can be just about equal to a SW + Pela.
I also would go with Sparkle, she is very optimal for E2 Acheron. The CD buffs, action forward, dmg dealt and atk% all in one is extremely valuable.
Will mention, there is SOME talk that Jiaoqiu might be so good to the point and E0 Acheron + Jiaoqiu can rival an E2 Acheron with Sparkle, but even if it does, Sparkle will still be very optimal, but if you can wait a little longer before this is fully tested/confirmed, either or is a very good choice (though, personally id still recommend Sparkle over Jiaoqiu since she has more uses outside of Acheron than he does as well.)

Acheron e6 is busted, no need jiaqiou. Pull sparkle.
Since you got E6 (so you have the e2 by default), you'd benefit way more from Sparkle

Jiaoqiu, he is going to be better than BS on the team, as I mentioned he is THEE best Acheron teammate.
Only thing you have to consider is, Black swan has more uses outside of just one team, she works great as an overall def debuffer, and is broken on a DoT team, while Jiaoqiu is kinda just, locked into only Acheron atm

Black Swan would be overall better for an account since she has more uses, BUT:
If you plan on specifically making your 2nd team Acheron (assuming E0), and want to keep it like that, Jiaoqiu will be infinitely better, as he is absolutely insane for an E0 Acheron specifically

I hot a E2 Archeron and I am unsure whether I should pick up Jiaoqiu or sparkle. I originally planed to pull for Jiaoqiu because I already have a bronya with her lc, but sparkles Crit DMG bonus is quite juicy (i could pick up her lc as well…?). What would you do?
I'd still go for Sparkle imo, Bronya is good and all, but the jump Sparkle gives is just absolutely stupid, dmg dealt, crit dmg spike, atk%. Not only that but she allows the team to constantly spam skill, so you don't have to be conservative at all as opposed to Bronya

It is also worth, more CD for a better buff on Sparkle, and ontop of that giving everyone MORE innate CD + now giving CR, very insane LC

If you have Sparkle or are planning to get Sparkle, get E2S1.
Otherwise, E0S1 with Jiaoqiu is perfectly good as well, 2 characters over 1 with dupes

I do not have a full fledged opinion on that as of yet, but I would not be surprised if it is.
Jiaoqiu + E0 Acheron will still generate more stacks than Sparkle + E2 Acheron, while also providing vulnerability rather than just self buffs (Sparkle CD given/dmg dealt and slight atk%)
So in this instance, it does become personal preference if it does remain true. Obviously Sparkle + E2 Acheron is more expensive, but in the end I cannot say for sure if either or has the slight edge or not. So I usually recommend Sparkle until more info/getting to try myself to see if it ends up working better/output ends up being better.

I'll most likely go for JQ + Acheron e0s1 if the performance is similar to that of Acheron E2S1 + Sparkle, saves me two potential 5 stars for future units instead.
The fact that Jiaoqiu defence shred (vulnerability) is about 35-40% and the fact his defence shred can coexist with pela or silver wolf debuffs means that they can almost 100% defence shred with his lightcone 😭. That's INSANE
That's not def shred, and pela+sw can already do 100% def shred .
His vul is actually better than def shred in math with no diminishing returns
@@L19h7 vulnerability can be diminished, ff teams with v1 lingsha will be reaching 87% total vuln with both at e0s1 for example, in this situation def shred would become more potent again

I have acheron e2 and been playing her with sparkle and thinking to replace sparkle for him in pf and replacing sw for moc and apocalyptic shadow but I don't have any dps to play my robin with and she's been collecting dust on my acc so I'm torn between him and feixiao :(

At E6 you get so much stacks from enemies entering already thanks to e4, + stuff from E2, imo you'd benefit from Sparkle more overall.

He's about 20% better than an S0 SilverWolf for an E0S1 Acheron.
Not worth the investment imo, considering Trends can do roughly the same job.
Did you consider the amount of stacks that he can give to acheron. He is basically tingyun for acheron

Gaining more 2 stacks because of a new unit is not that big of a deal. A high spd build sw and pela like 170-180 can compensate that problem jiaoqui is not that good as what people think after his massive nerfs.@@Exodia_99
