They really did him dirty by nerfing his Chakaram but 30% he actually gets out dpsed by like 90% of adcs until late game and some supports do too, he has great combos but I don’t feel they are rewarding anymore when they do 2 fkin dps, also to get a “good game” your sup has to be on ur ass 24/7 without ur baby sitter u mean nothing but a oneshot
aphelios is a really good adc, he's just hard and has a steep learning curve

I'm an Aphelios main and I love so much this champ but he has to win the lane to be able to do something. Sometimes I get some questionable supports in term of their skill and I lose the lane. Aphelios top must be the perfect solution for me I'm certainly going to try this when I'll return to home in the end of August.

I like the idea of playing champions on lanes they are not meant to be played on. If you just like a champion play it wherever u like, build your own strategy etc.
I love playing Aphelios, and I've tried it top before. However, I played an ADC build and went anti tank against a Sion. Went pretty well, I'll be sure to try this out too.

In my experience, infernum ult is mostly a finisher, you only deal around 500-800 dmg to a full stacked team so don't engage with it, even less if they have tanks
I was 7/6 in a game and at around 30 minutes I hit a 4-man Infernum ult that did more than half of Seraphine, Orianna and Sivir's health bar (and around 1/3 to a half-tanky Lee Sin)
I got a trolling 0/6 Aphelios top in ranked game today, then I see this video being recommended to me lmao.

Usually, videos like this spawned bad top aphelios players... But so far I've met 2 and they're actually good
im legit tilted, I first timed aphelios doing 6-0-11 and was like 3 levels higher than my team and enemies and I got an A+, my seraphine who lost botlane got an S... Thx Riot *sigh* (slightly tilted still but just wanted to say thx for the build Ive always liked Aphelios but I'm a jungle so I'm used to 1v1s so top lane is a great way to learn him and his mechanics just wanted to make this edit)

Remember that they slightly overbuffed Aphelios, so the letalithy route is something to practice if you wanna abuse him, altough that might require some extra attack speed on your build (Like huracann as your second item).
If you mean patch 11.13 - This player hit master in april and also in june - so I dont think it mattered for him. But it's great for anyone trying it now

I was playing toppelos before that (even before drututt) but in gold elo you always get flamed no matter how good u play

@@guzzan4167 max e and build cdr or crit with nevori to have a garden in the mid lane. I played it alot and as long as you have a formation for your plants then it will as least deal 1 plant dmgs to the enermy team that can easily turn the team fight for your favor. I called it cracked head jhin because I planted pots and got mad then shot everyone that destroyed my plants

This is exactly how I play my AD bruiser Yuumi in top, in lane anyway. Measured aggression, they can never kill me, and as soon as I hit level 6 the enemy can't come near me anymore without risking getting locked down and ganked for free (or just 1v1'd by smol cat). Aphelios is just trading away sustain (both healing and mana) for more offense/range.
