Hi Gab! Been enjoying the stardew valley vids lately, and I've got a tip: if you want to know if you've pet all your farm animals already, hover your mouse cursor over them. It'll change into a hand if you haven't pet them and a regular mouse cursor if you've already pet them. Or better yet, just run across them and hold right click :)
If you store the shears and milk bucket in the chest inside your barn, it'll free up your inventory space. You'll just have to remember to grab them each time you want to use them.
Shane is my husband in the game. I love him! He's not for everyone but when he was so cold at first I saw it as a challenge and was intent on befriending him. Then his story-line drew me in. I relate to his struggles and I loved his arc. He's really sweet once he opens up. (he also reminds me a lot of my irl husband, so added bonus ❤️)
i accidentally started his storyline by giving him beer on his birthday. it started me on 3 hearts and it progressed from there. i grew attached to his story and felt really bad for him. it was nice to marry him because he seems so free once he moves in with you

Hi Gab, I'm sure you might not ever see this but something that I do with my animals is keep the door closed at night. Then in the morning, I'll go into the barn and coop and pet them first before opening the doors. It's made my life easier lol

hugs There are a couple reasons why people repeat the same dialogue a lot, sometimes they have a specific dialogue they always say when in a certain location so that might end up being the only place you see them. Different artifacts are found in each location too, so you will find mostly farm-related artifacts if you spend most of your time on the farm. It's good to scan the other places more often, like train station, beach, desert, quarry~ to find new artifacts. It's okay to drop some of the farming chores now and then to make time (I have to tell myself this, too) 😅 A lot of people are probably distressed about the overlapping iridium sprinkler area but not saying anything to be polite lol :] Keeping on top of animal feed outside seems super imbalanced in this game, it's way too hard to keep them fed outside, I wish they'd update that somehow. I settled on only taking my barn animals outside and leaving the coop ones in even though I feel bad :< But the truffles alone make up for any money spent on hay/fields. Duck feathers are just for selling and gifts. Already donated artifacts are for selling, gifting to Penny/Dwarf, or making into clothes. (~tried to respond to questions I remember hearing throughout the series, sorry for any that isn't necessary anymore)

COFFEE! Not only is it super easy to produce (plant once in spring and harvest through two seasons until fall or forever in greenhouse) but it buffs your walking speed, and is a universal like! The only villagers who dislike it are the two kids (Vincent and Jas) which makes it easy to remember. It more than earns a permanent place in my inventory, and having it on you at all times means of course you can drink it but also make friends with everyone in a more reasonable amount of time. I also make Pepper Poppers (cheese and jalapeno peppers) which also gives a speed bonus, and a +2 to farming which is super useful. Peppers are easy to grow in summer as they continually produce after planting or make a great addition to your greenhouse to keep you in peppers year round. The cheese is easy if you keep a few cows. I find two cows is perfect for my consumption and I always have extra to hoard lol Keep in mind I'm still in 1.4 on xbone but I believe the advice still remains relevant. Boy am I jelly of that coffee maker tho... I get people go at their own pace and I appreciate that. I just remember how I felt the first time I drank the coffee and was like why did no one tell me about this!? Also again when I found out the speed effect stacks with pepper poppers... your almost as fast as a horse... and then I found out the effect stacks with the horse too! And I was like- I AM SPEED RACER WEEEEEEEE! Lol ok but one last tiny thing wild bait and cork bobbers is op with fish stew ok ok bye see ya next stream 😂😁👾

A tip that I learned through my playthrough of Stardew Valley is getting the workbench from Robin, which allows you to build things from materials found in chests next to the bench. It's super helpful and saves time from having to dig through chests to find crafting materials. Hope you and Sean are doing okay. Sending you both lots of love.
Two things for the animals. You can hold down right click to pet them all and if you mouse over them you cursor will change to a hand if you have not pet them.
I wish that before the festival you could help set it up like the egg festival for example you could help Emily dye all the eggs after you save them up! But if you didn't complete the quest in time, the festival would just go on as if you didn't help at all.

I put on these videos in the background a lot but right now it’s because got the stomach bug from the daycare I work at and on Friday night (it’s now Sunday morning) when I knew I was going to start throwing up I put episode 1 on in the background to try to distract myself and it’s been playing consistently in the background since then cause I can’t look at my phone without the migraine getting worse… these videos are so chill and I love them

Also, a quick tip about Penny you can give her your artifacts as gifts since she works at the library and like those. And you should upgrade your trash bin since when you throw things away you'll get more money back. It's mostly helpful for throwing out artifacts and weapons when you need money
Love this series, and love your videos! I have to disagree about Penny. She’s one of my top 3, and her loved items are SUPER easy, barely an inconvenience. Not only have you found multiple diamonds and emeralds, but poppy and melon are super easy year 1 crops that can be grown in bulk (plus you have a greenhouse and lots of unused farmland). You’ve cooked people meals with grown ingredients, which is way more work! Just needed to speak up about that. Keep up the good work. 🙂
Hops is a much better use for the kegs than strawberries are. Dumping that hops directly in the shipping bin is a waste. Basic hops only sells for 27g. Hops brews in 1-2 days. Wine brews in 7 days. Each pale ale is worth 300g. Strawberry wine is worth 360g. You are choosing 360g a week over 900g a week. Also strawberries already have a high base value without turning them into wine.

Even though I cannot be in his shoes right now and understanding the relationship between him and his father, I can honestly say that I am sure he is looking down from heaven or wherever, and is proud to see the wonderful inspiring people that have been there for his kids and the memories that are shared with eachother. I'm so glad that seán has an amazing carring girlfriend like you in his life to not only be there in his time of need but to be his best friend, his companion, the person to get crowns with in fall guys, the person who will dye his hair durring a huge live stream for millions of people for charity, the kind of loving, spirited, generous person as you are. A little note I would give to seán is that even when you have lost someone you have gain a piece in you heart that is like the missing clover to the 3 leaf clover, that clover might be missing that clover might be struggling that clover might not understand what the next step is for that clovers life or regrets not being there in the clovers time of need, but there will be a little stub, a cut off stub from that clover that was left as a gift of reasoning and a gift that will never ever be replaced. Even though a new 4th clover might grow back up again in place of the last one, that little stem will always be apart of that clover stem encouraging the clover to keep moving on, that this is not the end of a chapter, no it is the being of that book, the new clover is here it bring you happiness, joy fulfillment, memories, joy, and strength to keep moving on, but that old clover from heaven is still looking down and is very proud that even durring a dark moment in time there was someone there to heal that broken clover, to give it the passion, to continue moving on and is proud to see the clover that that clover has become and thee friends and family that have been on this journey with that clover. Whenever you get a slime ring, you're gonna be thrilled.. especially if you get a slime hatch and start raising some 👀 With the ring, slimes don't hurt you. You can walk right through them and receive zero damage. It's incredibly helpful for when you would go mining, especially at Calico Desert, on levels with a bunch of fast moving monsters. Slime hatches are a money making gold mine... at least for me, it is. I am raising 8 slimes currently, and all I have to do is fill the trough with water. They lay a massive slime egg that when you click it, it explodes into a bunch of slime. 100 slime in a slime egg press makes an egg, and the hatch comes with an incubator. Any time you don't want to get more slimes, sell the slime to Marlon at Adventurer's Guild CHACHING!

The option of showing appreciation I think was the right choice, it was for the other playthrough I saw. Sad that the Evelyn setting it up option was not good. :( I will say I only have a few hops plants in my greenhouse since they produce every day & after Pam's pale ale deal, I have very little use for hops. I know what helps me with keeping track is having a fence & gate between the barn & coop.
I discovered you and Sean during times I needed comfort the most. I discovered sean during my husbands 2nd deployment. Surprisingly his voice put me to sleep and comforted me. Now you are doing the same during this rough time. I promise I go back and rewatch what I missed after I've fallen asleep though lol. I love you both.

A tip that I learned through my playthrough of Stardew Valley is getting the workbench from Robin, which allows you to build things from materials found in chests next to the bench. It's super helpful and saves time from having to dig through chests to find crafting materials. Hope you and Sean are doing okay. Sending you both lots of love.

Two things for the animals. You can hold down right click to pet them all and if you mouse over them you cursor will change to a hand if you have not pet them.
I wish that before the festival you could help set it up like the egg festival for example you could help Emily dye all the eggs after you save them up! But if you didn't complete the quest in time, the festival would just go on as if you didn't help at all.

I put on these videos in the background a lot but right now it’s because got the stomach bug from the daycare I work at and on Friday night (it’s now Sunday morning) when I knew I was going to start throwing up I put episode 1 on in the background to try to distract myself and it’s been playing consistently in the background since then cause I can’t look at my phone without the migraine getting worse… these videos are so chill and I love them

Pro tip: when you hover the mouse over an animal you have not pet for the day it turns into a hand. Makes it much easier to know who you're missing =)

And you should upgrade your trash bin since when you throw things away you'll get more money back. It's mostly helpful for throwing out artifacts and weapons when you need money

I have to disagree about Penny. She’s one of my top 3, and her loved items are SUPER easy, barely an inconvenience. Not only have you found multiple diamonds and emeralds, but poppy and melon are super easy year 1 crops that can be grown in bulk (plus you have a greenhouse and lots of unused farmland). You’ve cooked people meals with grown ingredients, which is way more work! Just needed to speak up about that.

Hops is a much better use for the kegs than strawberries are. Dumping that hops directly in the shipping bin is a waste. Basic hops only sells for 27g. Hops brews in 1-2 days. Wine brews in 7 days. Each pale ale is worth 300g. Strawberry wine is worth 360g. You are choosing 360g a week over 900g a week. Also strawberries already have a high base value without turning them into wine.

Even though I cannot be in his shoes right now and understanding the relationship between him and his father, I can honestly say that I am sure he is looking down from heaven or wherever, and is proud to see the wonderful inspiring people that have been there for his kids and the memories that are shared with eachother. I'm so glad that seán has an amazing carring girlfriend like you in his life to not only be there in his time of need but to be his best friend, his companion, the person to get crowns with in fall guys, the person who will dye his hair durring a huge live stream for millions of people for charity, the kind of loving, spirited, generous person as you are. A little note I would give to seán is that even when you have lost someone you have gain a piece in you heart that is like the missing clover to the 3 leaf clover, that clover might be missing that clover might be struggling that clover might not understand what the next step is for that clovers life or regrets not being there in the clovers time of need, but there will be a little stub, a cut off stub from that clover that was left as a gift of reasoning and a gift that will never ever be replaced. Even though a new 4th clover might grow back up again in place of the last one, that little stem will always be apart of that clover stem encouraging the clover to keep moving on, that this is not the end of a chapter, no it is the being of that book, the new clover is here it bring you happiness, joy fulfillment, memories, joy, and strength to keep moving on, but that old clover from heaven is still looking down and is very proud that even durring a dark moment in time there was someone there to heal that broken clover, to give it the passion, to continue moving on and is proud to see the clover that that clover has become and thee friends and family that have been on this journey with that clover. Whenever you get a slime ring, you're gonna be thrilled.. especially if you get a slime hatch and start raising some 👀
With the ring, slimes don't hurt you. You can walk right through them and receive zero damage. It's incredibly helpful for when you would go mining, especially at Calico Desert, on levels with a bunch of fast moving monsters.
Slime hatches are a money making gold mine... at least for me, it is. I am raising 8 slimes currently, and all I have to do is fill the trough with water. They lay a massive slime egg that when you click it, it explodes into a bunch of slime. 100 slime in a slime egg press makes an egg, and the hatch comes with an incubator.
Any time you don't want to get more slimes, sell the slime to Marlon at Adventurer's Guild

The option of showing appreciation I think was the right choice, it was for the other playthrough I saw. Sad that the Evelyn setting it up option was not good. :( I will say I only have a few hops plants in my greenhouse since they produce every day & after Pam's pale ale deal, I have very little use for hops. I know what helps me with keeping track is having a fence & gate between the barn & coop.
I discovered you and Sean during times I needed comfort the most. I discovered sean during my husbands 2nd deployment. Surprisingly his voice put me to sleep and comforted me. Now you are doing the same during this rough time. I promise I go back and rewatch what I missed after I've fallen asleep though lol. I love you both.
