My new favorite amp. I found about it from this video and it's amazing. I've done wedding gigs with it and an acoustic guitar and an archtop electric guitar. I use iRealPro on my tablet connected to the amp via blutooth for backup tracks and works great. Oh, and it's a great practice amp as well 🙂

I was hoping you would do a spark demo then found you already had! I watched a lot of TH-cam demos for the spark, but still learned new things from your demo. I purchased this amp about a week ago. I had not noticed that when the hardware knobs are turned that it makes the same adjustment on the software side! Thanks for that. I will be keeping my membership to your streaming site a least until the thaw and will rejoin when next winter sets in. You help keep me sane through the long cold winter.

For a while, I thought I was listening to the soundtrack of “ Paris, Texas”. I bought the Spark after watching this, and it is a great little amp, that really delivers.

Here's another way you can utilize a nice set-up with your lap steel, for both recording (on a computer), and play back through an "ION Block-Rocker, Bluetooth amp". I first hook-up my lap steel to my "Tone Port UX2" unit, and connect my UX2 into my computer, and fire up, along with it's many pedal, and amp. programming app. features. I also have a small FM radio Bluetooth transmitter (that can be set to FM radio station freqs.). Seeing my Block-Rocker amp. can pick-up, and play FM radio signals, I plug my small FM radio transmitter into the speaker output of my computer. I set it to the desired freq. I wish the small radio transmitter to work on, and send that same FM signal freq. on the Block-Rocker amps., Bluetooth FM radio receiver. It will pickup the FM signal, and play it through the amps. speaker. This allows me to be able to use all the many UX2's sound features (pedals, and amps), much like that on a Spark Amp.set-up. With the UX2 unit, I can also add in my own personal foot pedals, that I wish to personally control with my feet. I get good clean, clear sound, both at the computer audio output, (where I can split the out-put signal (with a two-port audio splitter, to both my head set, and the Block-Rocker amp., at the same time. If I wish to do so, I can also record on "Audacity", and save it as a recorded track. With the use of the UX2's programming, I also have many pedal, and amp features (just like with Spark's amp), to choose from. So if you happen to own a "Line 6, UX2", and an "Ion Block-Rocker Bluetooth amp"., you can do much the same thing as seen here in this video. All you really need extra, is a cheap FM radio transmitter that sends out a Bluetooth signal, at a desired Radio FM freq., that the Ion Amp can pick up, and play over it's main speaker output (those FM transmitters are available on Amazon for around $25).. The extra feature is, you have recording features as well, on your computer, all in either stereo, or mono. Un-plug one instrument, and re-install another different instrument, to make a second, third, forth, or as many tracks as you wish to make on your recording. The UX2 unit has two main inputs, for instruments, as well as mikes. System does a good job, just like the Spark amp., set-up here.

Thanks for the demo. Do you use this for pedal steel e9 teaching also?

Thanks for the review Troy, I have been thinking about what to get for my first amp and this Spark seems to have a lot of cool features and you sure did a fine job of convincing me :) I also have been thinking about the Fender Super-Champ X2 15W 1x10 Tube Guitar Combo Amp at 200 bucks more. Any thoughts?

The effects you use are from an APP on the cell phone? How is the question of those beautiful effects?
