Don't forget the Hi Viz on the back of the seat for more stealth.👍
So glad You decided to carry on building campers!! 👌🏻
Get a driver's seat from a lefthand drive
Love you're series, that is a real dusty van
Got myself my morning coffee & new van build series to watch, happy days🤩👍
Great video Shaun. I like the fact you have started off with a really dirty van which is what most off them would probably be like. Looking forward to the next one.👍
Amazing how clean it came up ! Congratulations on the safe arrival of your little girl, looking forward to meeting her and seeing Mum 💙🦋
Fab job if only I could have had access to a build video like this when I was your age.. Looking forward to the progress Shaun 👍
Great stuff Shaun . Congratulations on the birth of your daughter 😊
Thanks for your efforts. I love the content you provide.
Morning Shaun. Nothing like a good demolition is there 😂I’m very much looking forward to following you building this van mate. 😊
My theory for the black paint is that when the previous owner installed the roof rack they started getting problems with water ingress and that black paint is either rust prevention or rust treatment in the area where water is known to pool in these vans. That or the missing trim piece has left holes for water to get in. I suggest before you put the new ply lining in you sit in the back on a rainy day and check for leaks
Or put it through a car wash.
That cost money though @@helenbenjafield7351
Or use a hose pipe 😂
I think you’re right. I think the water cam in through were that plastic trim was missing
@@LoveSundaysdefinitely take all the external plastic trims off. Clean everything and re attach them with Mansoury Glue on all the holes and clips
Here we go again.....I love these videos thanks for making Sunday's great, cheers Shaun.😀😃😄😁😆🙂🙃🙃🙃
It’s nice seeing this kind of van conversion, mine was as dirty if not worse because they covered everything with tape with tar on it, god know why. So it was a nightmare to get all back ready for carpeting. Most of the conversions we see are pretty clean and straight forward, so it’s refreshing seeing you do this one, what I call real, looking forward to the rest 👍
Crazy the things you find isn’t it 😂
Another great one Shawn, how about a sit down shower in there?, not seen one before, could be interesting and functional 👍
Morning mate been looking forward to the build progress on this van, for the passenger seat it might be worth sourcing the seat from a left-hand drive vivaro / traffic as the armrest is on the opposite side.
A pipe tube and ladder on the roof rack would hide the PV panels when looking from the side. May have to change the livery to a plumbing theme though. Also don't forget your 'no tools left in van overnight' sticker 😁
Rivet the screw holes in the floor Shaun 👍🏻 Loving the build!
Sean the van master for sure
It might be worth looking at magnetic signage, gives you the option to remove or even change signs.
What a transformation.
That looked like lots of hard work. Well done! Congratulations to you, Kate & Charlie on the arrival of your baby girl.
Thank you
Love the asbestos signs. What a great way to keep the thieves away 😂
Yea this was a quick design I drew up but it will need some tweaking. But yea I figured no one’s going to want to break into a van full of asbestos
Wow what a difference a good clean makes 👏 😊. It's gonna look a great van when finished xxxx👍
Hola from Spain! 🇪🇸
I was pleased to see you’ve started another van conversion! BTW, thanks for the Dodo code in a previous video - saved me a few quid yesterday when ordering some insulation from them 😊
Suggestion: make the door through the bulkhead a pocket door?
Great idea
That'll leave room for a pop counter to join both kitchen tops for meal prep
Ive made a solar shower out of some black pipe and end caps. Looks like a pipe carrier. 😉
Fantastic video thanks
I'm just doing something camper adjacent on my 2012 renault traffic. Getting the bulkhead out, I had the same problem. 2.99 socket to hex bit adaptor (thanks trago) got those bad boys started. I cut my bulkhead in halfish horizontally. I'm not fussed about getting from back to front. My biggest challenge is going to be building and fitting twin, fold up beds with one that also folds to be able to get out the door.
loved this one and look forward to your next one. I would love one of these vans but sadly I dont think its wide enough to be able to put a bed across the back to sleep on? I do think these are great vans to drive.
Great. Love a good van build.
Can’t wait to see how it progresses.
Another great video Shaun looking forward to seeing the rest of the series! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Love watching your can builds! I was wondering if you have those big canvas dumpsters to put all the old plywood in so you only have to touch it once! It’s a great time saver! Once again, great job! Cheers!
Oh my goodness Shaun....I'm getting to watch your 4th van innerbuild....its so exciting. 😁
I'll become a professional myself after all this Mentoring you've given....fingers crossed to start in Spring. 🤞
Naughty boy no protective eye wear 🤣🤣 seriously though good job mate, looking forward to more videos. Congratulations again on the birth of your daughter, she's a beaut, hope Kate is doing fine too. Wishing you all the very best 🎉
Looking forward to this build Shaun.
what a turn around! looks great already
Hi mate I managed to get the string light like you've got so I bought two I'm well impressed thanks mate
Such a transformation from dirty builders can to clean and ready for build
Hi m8 hope your well just got bk from a 4 day break in Newquay not been down that way in over a yr just an idea on your single passenger's seat I had a vw t4 yrs ago n swapped the double n drivers single 4 a pair of seats out of a mk1 ford galaxy ghia as there captains seats ppl also retro fit mini seats with modified bases n work well Hope this helps
I have an Ecoflow Delta 2 Max which not only gets charged by solar but also by Ecoflow's brilliant 800W alternator charger to fast charge while driving.
Looking at buying one of these shortly... Definitely watching this series, Notifications on mate... 😎
Great vid ( again ) Shaun and congrats to you and wifey! 🥳
Brill love your builds, looking forward to this one
Don't forget pad locks for the ladder
Glad to see you didn’t do the rip out wearing flip flops 😂. You need to be wearing some gloves thought!
Pocket/ sliding door from the front would be a good space saver.
Looking forwards to the next instalment.
Looks like a plasterers van. Whats the radio like ;) With the bulkhead, i like your idea of the kitchen pod on half the door. Put garden chairs and a workmate with a laptop in my van. Had some ciders and watched a film with a mate to get a feel for the setup
Not to shabby after the rip out and clean. I love old classic Vauxhall car's but the Vivaro van never really floated my boat.
Brilliant Shaun,, great watching ur vids,,my van was already converted to quite an extent ,,,so I'm just changing little bits how I want it,but love how u start and Finnish a van build watched everyone you've done and I'm impressed on ur work and thought bout them.
Glad you’re enjoying them
Hi Shaun, great video mate gonna be interesting seeing how you build this van . I’ve got a Long wheel base transit out in one of my sheds that I’ve been repairing sills ect and watching your videos has inspired me to maybe go the whole way and convert it 👍
Loved todays video Sean, looking forward to the next one matey.
Nice one.. interesting first part! Thanks.
Loving these videos, I'm getting inspired,
Awesome video, love these kind of videos!
Great start Shaun👍
Glad you used CT1 instead of silicon dude 🤘
How does CT1 compare to Sikaflex? Feels like CT1 is a bit cheaper, but does it match Sikaflex quality?
Good morning 🌄
Next part please
L shaped bed sounds absolutely great.
How satisfying the cleaning job was. I think that would be my favourite thing to do.
How many videos to this build?
I’m not sure yet. There’s lots of little things I’ll be doing to this van that wasn’t in the last Vivaro build so it’s hard to say how many episodes
@LoveSundays well I can't wait to watch the process
I sold my bulkhead on eBay and it was sold easily with multiple bidders for good money. I was just pleased to see it out of the way.
Re: impact driver. Or you could have bought an Allen key for less than a tenner and loosened them the old fashioned way i. e. by hand and then used the drill again to take them out. Then it could have stayed a budget build 😉
Great to have 'van build Shaun' back! Looks like you enjoyed that - through whether the ripping out or the getting the van clean was more satisfying I can't tell!
Impressive that you have converted 4 vans before and managed without an impact driver ... shows that a shed load of tools isn't needed!
I'm sure your dad could create a door in a sloped bulkhead - just an afternoon's thought and some wood ;-)
In previous vans you've kept 3 seats (certainly more stealth) - any reason to change for this one?
All the best with the rest of the conversation - I guess checking for leaks is the next task!
My decision to put a single passenger seat in is only so I can get into the back of the van from the front without having to climb over the double seat. My plan is to keep the front looking as standard as possible and even make the patrician look like it’s a regular bulkhead
@@LoveSundays, thanks for the explanation - and glad you found a driver's seat to fit for the passenger.
And congratulations to you and Kate on the birth of your daughter - you must be thrilled and knackered - hope you get some rest!
@@LoveSundaysmaybe keep the old bulkhead so you can use the top half of it to cover the partition.
great video as allways, may i offer some advice. the holes in the floor i would of put some sealant as you have but then rivited the hole to give a complete blockage of the hole.
Yes I’ve seen a lot of other people rivet the holes but personally I’ve always done it like this and never had any issues
Impact driver and a mini leaf blower is my 2 latest tools I didn’t know I couldn’t live without 😃 So any particular reason for mainly choosing Vivaro? Over others of similar size? We need to get an Automatic so that really limits our choice a lot and even the age. But plan it to be my main daily transport replacing my old car.
I chose Vivaro’s because I’ve had a few now I kind of know what to look for when buying one. That’s the only reason really
Although I have not tried converting my own van, a bit of advice from seeing other 'stealth' vans - the big solar panel on the top of the roof rack, and the rooflight sticking up, are both dead giveaways that it's not a builders van! Try and keep them low profile! 👍
You’re going to love next weeks video! I worked really hard to hide everything
@LoveSundays thanks - I will look forward to seeing it! I have seen vans parked up round where I live, that are obviously trying to be 'stealthy', but, after watching your channel, I have learnt what to look out for! 😉
Morning Shawn another great video on the books i look forward to Sundays morning and logging into you seeing whats been planed for the video. Did the magnetic tape work on the big family van do we know. Stay safe buddy michael uk 👍🫶
You could make a sliding door to save space 🤙
That’s a great idea
1. A passenger side love seat.. hmmm. 2. That bulk head seems pretty bulky ;) 3. I like your choices in music for videos. Some of them must cost you a bit. 4. The right essential tool for a guy, I guess, is like the right pair of shoes for an outfit for a woman. Essential though?? Hmmm.
Could you do a pocket door between cab and back of van
To save extra costs surely taking the ply out you could clean, resand and put back in savings m8. All pre cut aswell. Easy peesy 😂
This plywood was unsalvageable far too many dents and holes in it. I could’ve filled the holes yes but for the sake of a couple hundred quid it’s not worth the work
Great video as ever, For my OCD issues could you possibly wear gloves and eye protection next time you rip floor up etc 😂😂😂
I have invested in some safety gear for next weeks video including eye protection but no gloves. I’d probably do more damage to myself wearing gloves than not 😂
Hello from 🇫🇮 are you gonna do videos with you toddler any more?❤🌷 i love yours videos😀
He will be in my videos occasionally yes
congrats Shawn a boy and a girl one of each your gonna be busy 😂😂
Jet it and get a watery vac for those puddles 13:33
Just remember, gloves are your friend!!!!
Hello from 🇧🇷
Welcome
Stealth Campers are much stealthier if you fuzz out the vehicle's plate when filing on YT or are you going to put a private plate on it? ST11CMP?
Why not fit another drivers seat in place of passenger one? door could be made to slide behind it too.. Giving you more space inside rear of van.
I’ve managed to find another drivers seat that I’ve modified to go on the passenger side
Currently a 1st time converter converting a lwb primastar. Wondering are you planning on insulating in the same way as you did on your last van?
Yes I’ll be using pretty
Much the same method as the last van but with just a couple of tweaks
Every inch counts 😉
It really does 😂
Great tutorial, i just wondered why you didnt use woid glue when building cupboards and ved?. Is it because you might want to dusmantle and use in snother can?
Thanks.
During the initial build of the units I don’t glue anything. But before painting I dismantle everything and glue it I just don’t film myself doing it. I build first without glue to make sure I haven’t made any errors. The glue once it’s finalised
@@LoveSundays Thanks, I can sleep now .
Im not sure what the vivaro seats are like BUT rather than paying crazy peoples prices for passenger seats... look into just modifying a drivers seat for the passenger side 👍
That’s exactly what I’ve done. But you’ll have to wait a couple of weeks to see that video unfortunately
For God's sake Shaun wear some protective gloves. I amazed you didn't tare your hands to pieces. Nice job.
Would the bed behind the bulkhead work? And kitchen etc by the back door?
That could work
Hi shaun the link you gave for the merch doesnt show the t-shirts or hoodies
The website lovesundays.uk takes you to my website scroll down and it says Merchandise click on that.
Goto a scrap yard to find a single seat
I actually went to a scrappy and got a drivers seat that I’ve modified
Stealth and solar panels don't exist together but I'll wait to see how this will unfold
The question is are you Willing to you eat your hat if you’re wrong?
I'm not adding my solar for stealth but as I have a nice usable roof rack, I'm mounting thin solar to the underside of the roof rack, more so it's out the way. Not for stealth, I'm only going to be using mine for camping come festival season. But think it would fall into the stealth category.
Could you use another drivers seat for the passenger side
I searched the internet to see if I could be done but couldn’t find anyone that did it. The problem is the seat belt pretensioner. But I thought I’d give it a go and get a drivers seat and try to modify it. You’ll have to wait a couple of weeks to see that video though
@@LoveSundays how about pilot seat that swivels out of old Ford galaxy.
Very creative making it look like a trade van, just put a load of dents in it and a porn magazine on the dash 😅
I wanted a "stealth " van so went for a welfare van sprinter mwb 5% tint on the windows, replaced the bulk head but with a sliding door. still has Highway Maintenance chevroning on the rear. ok till the bikes or kayaks go on. park it any where...ish..
I cut down my double front passenger seat in half. Not entirely sure of the legalities, lol.
If it works it works I guess
😉
Would a LHD drivers seat not work for you?
Yes that would be perfect quite hard to find though . But I’ve managed to modify a RHD single drivers seat into a passenger
Oh fantastic, well I’m pleased you got it sorted 👍🏻
What's the weirdest thing ever you've found in a conversion.?
My vivaro had a wad of cash tucked away and two Nintendo worms games
I found a whip behind the Plywood of one of my Vivaros that was pretty weird 😂. No cash expect for a few coins 😂
Hey Sean, love the ideas of layout your thinking of. Check out the U-shape seating layout that I build for the Vivaro’s (my van of choice) If you require any assistance drop me a message as I’ve built a fair few Vivaro’s and have a vast amount of knowledge on them.

14:12 It looks more like you just haven't cleaned off the blood stains yet! 😬🫣😂
