  • Rincon Falls (Second tallest) & Blackpool goes way back to 1795 when Governor Jose Maria Chacon granted 1,250 acres of land to the Spanish Treasurer Jose Ramon Muxica to establish an estate. The Las Cuevas Estate comprised of the Rincon Valley and extended all the way from the Sea to the foothills of El Tucuche (El Luengo village). Rincon Village is a secluded settlement on the North Coast Road just before Las Cuevas Beach. It's history came from Spanish rule during 1592-1783 who establish estates and gave it the name Rincón meaning "in a corner".
Note: the other falls that we mentioned as the other "blackpool" is actually - Habio Falls! To get to this turn right at last intersection and then left...... To be Continued.

It is a shame I missed this hike. Looks very nice. The waterfall is perfect but the Blackpool stands out. For sure I will have to plan to dive in and do some snorkeling there very soon. As always, good job babe and team over there!!!!

Steep hill to get down to that lovely pool... Middle of nowhere out in nature always the best!

trinidad has great scenery and secluded waterfalls. however we have dotish government leadership that has never made these falls reachable by car or developed these areas for tourism. thats the vision of our leadership that has trinidad 60 year behind time
