Night walk through downtown Amman with its markets and souks | Trip to Jordan 2023

The markets in downtown Amman, Jordan, also known as souks, are full of energy, people and of course many unique products to buy. From spices and produce to jewelry, rugs and pottery, the markets in Amman all offer their own unique products and experiences. If you are looking for an authentic Jordan experience, visit one or more of the markets in Amman to mingle with the locals and buy some souvenirs.
The three most famous markets are Souk Jara, the Gold Souk and Souk El-Khodra. Souk El-Khodra is the market in the alleys behind the Husseini Mosque. The vendors here speak English because they are used to travelers. They offer food to try, are friendly, let you take pictures, and some stalls are famous among locals for their particularly good goods. If you want to take food from Jordan as a souvenir, this is the market for you. Between Medjool dates, baklava and incense, you'll find it all. But you should only come to the market district during the day. At night, the stalls are closed and the alleys are dark and dangerous.

Very nice video but no interaction with people what so ever , they are the most kind people on this earth , also passed by the most famous restaurants and muniments in the medial east no recognition what so ever next time you need a guide to show you around, it’s a beautiful place , love Jordan ❤

التصوير هذا في وسط اابلد في عمان .. المدينة جميلة ونظيفة مقارنة بعواصم عربية اخرى رغم الوضع الاقتصادي والمعيشي الصعب .. يؤخذ على شولرع وسط البلد الازحامات والاختناقات المرورية طول ايام الاسبوع تقريباً بسبب العدد المتزايد للسيارات بمختلف انواعها وكذلك الزيادة السكانية للاردنيين والوافدين من مختلف الجنسيات... المطاعم نظيفة والأكل طازج وهناك رقابة على النظافة والنظام من قيل أمانة عمان ... للاسف هناك استغلال للسائح او القادم من خلرج الاردن من قيل البعض وخاصة سائقي سيارات الاجرة " التاكسي الاصفر" وحتى بعض اصحاب المحلات يرفع سعر بضاعته اذا لاحظ ان الزبون اجنبي او عربي قادم من دول معينة لا داعي لتسميتها ... القياس لا يؤخذ ان شاء الله الا على الناس الطيبين والنشامى وهم الاغلبية ... حفظ الله المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية وشعبها الكريم والعمر المديد والصحة والعافية لسيدنا جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني ابن الحسين المعظم و سمو الامير الحسين بن عبدالله الثاني ولي العهد... / محب للأردن مر من هنا وترك هذا التعليق
