14,000 hour retired corporate jet jockey. Before the jet I flew a super Cheyenne III single pilot. Flew into every major airport including min approaches into O'Hare. Never flew into Oshkosh, and after watching your video, I'm glad I didn't. With all that stress I wonder how many "checked for 3 in the green". Great video as always and great flying!
Absolutely love watching you guys fly thank you something I’ve always wanted to do but unfortunately had 10 back surgeries and I lost that dream years ago but thank you. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks Greg! Hopefully they give out a little twin love next year as the past two years they've not been keen on us. I was controlling there when Jack bent his Premier and had a pretty close view...your planes were well built! I've seen your Premier come into our airspace a couple times that I've been working but no luck on it being you. One time when I asked whoever it was if you were on board he had a chuckle and said he taught you everything you know. Having ridden in a Viper once I'm going to guess it was the other way around. :)
Hi guys, from down under. Been watching your videos from the beginning. My favourite video so far! Man! What a workload if single ops! So great you guys work so well together. Makes me glad it's never that busy down here. Your videos bring back so many memories of my 310 days many years ago. Keep up the great work!
Hello Mark aka another 310 guy from down under! :) I have a couple Aussies that swing by here...glad you've been around from the beginning. Hopefully I'm getting better at editing...that is the hardest part for me. It makes busy times much easier having her in the co-pilot seat!
Got my multi in a Cessna 310 8/2/1977. Your video brought back great memories to this 82 yr old ex pilot. Thank you. Wish I had some of the current nav aids back then. God Bless & keep you safe.
That's awesome Luther! Sounds like you had a great flying career. :) My goal in life is to be an 82+ year old ex pilot one day. The technology advancements in my short flying 20 years has been amazing for GA!
Nice job Kevin I have flown this arrival the past two years. It’s a great experience, and a real challenge at the same time. I take my two boys along so I have extra eyeballs outside. Seeing as I fly a vintage airplane I’ve been able to get in no problem. Good luck for next year. Keep the great content coming.
This was awesome! I think everyone did very well here, from the pilot and co-pilot to the controllers. Her extra set of eyes and knowledge of the procedures really made a difference. Great video.
Found your channel a few days ago and have been enjoying it. Jamie you have the perfect on-air voice. Clear, concise and soothing. You should be in broadcasting. You two make a great team in the air. Thanks for taking us along on your travels.
Great flight until you got to Oshkosh, Kevin. Awesome job maneuvering that OSH traffic. Not sure I understand why you couldn’t park, and had to take off again. But, you handled it gracefully. I think it was awesome that you got to talk with a controller you knew. It’s a small world when we’re having fun. Glad you two made it safely, and hope you enjoyed your time there. I watched as much Air Adventure Live, as I could, and really enjoyed it. Wish I could have gone to Oshkosh, but I’m too old now. However, I’m so happy they do live videos on TH-cam. Watching it on a large TV screen makes one almost feel like you are there. Thanks for sharing your event with us. Happy Flying, and safe landings to you both.
Thanks Richard...glad you enjoyed it! The parking situation was there was available spots but it wasn't relayed to the people parking the planes. Hopefully they improve on that in the future. It was still a blast though. Glad we could take you along since you couldn't be there.
EAA has been running this event for decades, an organizational failure that results in turning away customers and forcing unnecessary aircraft departures in that environment is a significant failure. Hopefully they are aware this happened so they can initiate some corrective action.
Was hoping to bump into you to say hi! We will do a better job coordinating next year. This year was a last minute chance to get up there and we didn't have much time for planning. We did look around a bit before the party in the North 40 we went to but unfortunately never saw you. I'll hit you up before Sun n Fun and if we have any extra time in FL coming up soon. Love the new IFD550!
Uh, no way. I can see why she was nervous. I was too just watching. Liked the coverage and appreciate your time and effort in editing your video. Next year I hope to make it but I'll let someone else do the flying. Keep flying safe.
Great vid, you coped really well with the increased workload in busy airspace. Love your 310, I racked up a few hundred hours in them back in the 90s flying charter in Tasmania, Australia, although at 6’4” It was a little cramped when full aileron deflection was needed in heavy X wind landings. Damned long legs!
Great video! After watching this, I can see why having several sets of eyes to watch all that air traffic is critical. Can't imagine trying that approach on my own. Lots of workload and a ton of risk
Spooky, 8:34 in, the call from N28627 is me!!!! Great video as usual guys. My first time at OSH too, i guess i was 20 minutes behind you. Likewise i was shocked by folks flying slow, even had to drop my flaps at one point in my PA28. I was lucky that parking was open for singles, so got to park and wait till they reconciled parking and then opened it at 10am. It seems you get in early or wait till Thursday to get an easy slot! Coming back Next year for sue, i was like a 51 year old kid in candy store.
That's awesome you were able to pick yourself out during the ATIS...small world aviation is! There were lots of open spots we could see in the North 40 and our friends on the ground there were confirming it. Just wasn't relayed to the flaggers. When I got back to OSH I went to the EAA tent at the North 40 and the lead said yeah we have parking you can bring your plane now...unfortunately it was too late. You can imagine the struggle in a twin if you had to drop flaps in your PA28 to get slow enough. I hated to talk to the tower but I had to pass that guy close off his left and wanted him to know we were there. We will be back next year for sure. Say hey if you see us around!
310 Pilot yup I was on flight following from my home base in Peoria,Il at 3MY, just signing onto Madison approach. There were camping slots but I think they only reconciled open slots around 10 am, hope you shuffled in at some point. I happened to park 4 planes away from me Aviation101, his dad bob is a great fella’. Got to meet Jason schapperd, and got the kings to sign my log book... small world indeed! Keep it out of the trees!
I lived right next door to the EAA for 42 years and watched all those planes come in. Your video was the first time I was able to experience an arrival. Very entertaining. I didn't appreciate Dave Tate's comments. Oshkosh is the busiest airport in the world for one whole week and to get over 10,000 airplane down safely is no simple task. You can not be messed up to make that happen!
I've been watching your channel for a couple months and trying to see all your videos. Even when things are crazy in the air, I would feel very comfortable knowing that you were flying, always calm and ready for anything.
What an excellent video..the aircraft is fabulous..wife extraordinary..you make a great team..that from a 40 year airline pilot with over 30,000 hours. Absolutely superb.
I was waiting for this video! It was cool meeting you guys this year, albeit briefly! Glad you finally got into OSH! Got the invite for the HOPS party next year! Hope I can make it!
Well done you guys ...... I'm an old man who's never been to Osh ..... but - I've watched so many videos, over the years, that I feel I could fly the Fisk approach ................... ;-p
WOW is that some busy airspace around the show! Your experience flying shows here - nice work. I could sense Jamie's anxiety on this one - lots of traffic! Hoping I can get out there next year. We'll see. Going to try my best. I MUST get out there one of these days! Learned alot about the approaches there on this one - I wasn't aware of the different altitudes for faster & slower aircraft. I was wondering how that all worked! Thanks for clearing that up. Was really interesting, and very detailed - we all learned right along with Jamie. Great stuff as always, Kevin. 👍
Relatively new viewer and have been skipping around your videos. Good stuff. Had me on the edge of my seat as you flew in to Oshkosh. But it's the girl that gets me. And I just figured it out, it's that voice, the voice. That voice is what put the hook in me. I'd listen to Jamie read the phone book if there was still such a thing. She's got the look but she really has the sound. I can imagine she gets a lot of comments but, has anyone ever commented on the voice? Well, keep it up and keep it safe. Thanks.
I drive fuel truck and my company does all the fueling every year for everything on the EAA grounds, the EAA Seaplane Base, and my absolute favorite, fueling the pyrotechnics. Every year is such an amazing experience. Loved this video. So cool to see it all from above. You guys did awesome!
I am subscribed because I like aviation and your partner reminds me of my eldest daughter. So weird seeing people who look/dress similar. Excellent video. You guys did great getting to my bucket list experience. Cheers.
Another great video. I watched MrAviation101's C172 arrival last year and you can really tell from your video how much more you need to be ahead of the airplane at your speed and alt upon viewing your video in the 310. Really enjoyed the presentation. Nice job explaining the new transponder rules and for explaining why some planes do not show up. Again, another very interesting show.
Not sure how I found this channel, I wasn’t actively searching flying channels..maybe sent from my father who passed away recently? (95 yrs)..He flew B-17’s and then loads of crop dusters, followed by DC-3’s, etc; and eventually retired flying Jetstar II’s...He was a tremendous pilot..When I showed interest as a 15 yr old, we borrowed my cousin’s 172 and up we went, eventually ending with 30 hrs..With much sadness, I don’t know why he didn’t want me to continue..maybe he felt I didn’t have what it takes.. I don’t know..it’s too late for that..but I do know he would’ve loved your channel, and so do I..Thanks for sharing and bringing me back up!
I 've done it many times it's a rush, only the great controllers work there. But the Fondle crack (FLD) was meshed up, after you landed they made you leave, what?
learned to fly 21 years ago quit cause I had young children wish I would've never stopped huge mistake gonna get a plane start flying with my wife thanks Guys coolest videos everits like I'm in the plane lol
That was pretty cool makes me want to go out and get my pilot's license nice job looks like you guys had some fun on the island it's been a few years since I've been on Put-in-Bay need to go out there and check it out again wish you guys the best and safe flying
That heavy set fellow in the Top Gun shirt at 36:04 really reduces the overall quality of the video ;) Wish we could have spent more time with y'all up there. Preferably when we weren't all exhausted, sunburnt, and sweaty. Nice vid as usual, Kevo.
Thanks for the insight into flying into Oshkosh. I think this is the best video that I've seen on that. As the ancient Chinese philosopher Ho Lee Chit once said... freakin wow! Good thing you had some sharp eyes in the right seat. That said... you have to hand it to the controllers (and pilots)... they get it done!
Good flying Kevin! What a fiasco trying to get into that airport. Jamie has a good set of eyes and sure is a big help! I don’t think I would have the patience in that 3 ring circus.
Very cool! Love it... The life I was born to live but missed... What an awesome couple, great team! Flying is the closest thing to Heaven on Earth beside family and friends!
Excellent video Kevin ! You and Jaime did a fantastic job navigating at OSH, I also thought ATC did a excellent job handling all the traffic there. That was the busiest I have seen you in the cockpit. Thanks for showing a bit of the air show, Jaime looked great and I liked how you had your tent by your 310 at the end !
First time viewer...great videos, I like this one...did not expect the Oshkosh landing to be so intense...co-pilot is super cool and you guys make a great couple...bring your twin (beautiful plane) to So Cal for mountain flying...check out Big Bear...keep the videos coming...late!
5 Trips in a 172. On Saturday. They lined us up behind a C-47 on a 1 mile final for 36L. I could see their faces. Of course we went around. Really wacky marginal VFR weather during Sat and Sun. Yes, lots of traffic, mile separation, etc. This was a great experience for you and the wife. Got it at almost the worst. Fun!. They were parking GAC at the beginning of 36. Which is the city limits of Fond Du Lak. Yikes. We are usually in the north 40. But it was flooded and mushy. Next day we were able to move the plane to GAC. It was an interesting year. I'm kind of used to the traffic saturation as I fly out of N07 in New Jersey. But Oshkosh really puts a "see and avoid" stamp on things. Welcome to Oshkosh! Great video! Hope the wife wasn't scared off from another visit. Oh, I love that 310. Nice work!
Thank you for the nice comments! I heard how bad it was earlier in the week. This is the second year in a row I haven't been able to park there. Some way some how I am going to figure out how to get into the north 40 next year! What kind of plane do you fly? I think this year was a perfect intro for her as it wasn't very busy when we arrived/departed. She'll be ready for it next year. :)
Wow, 36:02 mark, our friends Jay and Mary Honeck and their daughter Becca. Met them through the Cherokee chat. They own Amelia's Landing in Port Aransas, Tx. We've stayed with them a few times. They went through a horrible hurricane last year. Good video as always Kevin. I've been to Oshkosh 3 times but never landed KOSH. Flew to Appleton once and Winneconne private strip twice. I think I'd be like Jamie, too many planes in too close proximity. Thanks!
Small world Alan! I've only know Jay through a different aviation forum but wow, they are great people! I followed their struggles with the Hurricane. We plan to go visit them one year at Amelia's Landing. It's a lot of planes and we lucked out on the time we went as it wasn't too bad. I had to talk her into it a bit but I think she's semi-excited to try it again next year. :)

This is 2024 and I just want to say that I miss you guys so much. Your channel was the highlight of my evening. Thanks for all you did.
Absolutely love watching you guys fly thank you something I’ve always wanted to do but unfortunately had 10 back surgeries and I lost that dream years ago but thank you.
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Awesome! Thanks for taking us along. Love riding in the back seat! Really fun stuff.
I've flown in there several times. But not anymore. It too makes me nervous. :-) Very nice video. Too bad they didn't want you there!
Thanks Greg! Hopefully they give out a little twin love next year as the past two years they've not been keen on us. I was controlling there when Jack bent his Premier and had a pretty close view...your planes were well built!

If it makes Greg nervous it’s probably not a good idea LOL
There's something that makes you nervous?

310 Pilot Hi Kevin, the videos are perfect!
Great job with this video! You guys have a great dynamic in the plane that only adds to the quality. Keep 'em coming!
Glad you enjoyed it...thank you!

I know nothing about flying, but this video was like watching a suspense film. Great Job, Stay Safe.
Awesome...glad you enjoyed it!
Nice job Kevin

Thank you very much!! She is awesome to have as a co-pilot...makes the flying even more enjoyable. :)
Pucker factor to the max! Jamie wasn't a happy camper! Thanks for another Adventure! GO HOGS!
Found your channel a few days ago and have been enjoying it. Jamie you have the perfect on-air voice. Clear, concise and soothing. You should be in broadcasting. You two make a great team in the air. Thanks for taking us along on your travels.
Glad you found us Steve and are enjoying it! Thank you for the kind words. Hope you keep liking the videos. :)
One of your best videos yet! Thanks for keeping them coming.
Awesome...thank you Ray!
You guys are amazing together. Thanks!
Awesome...thanks David!

Good job Kevin. You sure got the old bird dialed in. She flies so solid and smooth cause you have nice hands on her. Enjoy the picnic.
Sorry I missed you guys! I did't know you were there. You should have come by to say Hi!
Was hoping to bump into you to say hi! We will do a better job coordinating next year. This year was a last minute chance to get up there and we didn't have much time for planning. You guys have more patience for OSH event than I would have had! Nice job and a great video none the less guys! Thanks!!!
It was neat to see the planes shadow infront of the plane during take off you could see exactly when the plane left the ground
I drove to Oshkosh twice from central MN in the early 80’s and thought it was crowded then but nothing like your wonderful video! Thanks very much!
You're welcome Thomas...thanks for watching!
That was fun to watch. I live in Fond du Lac and we would be pleased to have you back anytime.
Uh, no way. I can see why she was nervous. I was too just watching. Liked the coverage and appreciate your time and effort in editing your video. Next year I hope to make it but I'll let someone else do the flying. Keep flying safe.

Damned long legs!
Glad you enjoyed it Russell! That's awesome you got to fly 310's in Australia. I've never been but can't wait to go one day.
Had to stop flying 30 years ago due to health, thoroughly enjoyed the ride ! Thanks !
I truly enjoy your videos! I am so scared of heights and flying gives me anxiety but watching your videos is peaceful to say the least
Ft
I agree

Very good shadow of taking off , very lucky 🍀 flying , my dream , so thank you for letting us fly with u two ?
I've been watching your channel for a couple months and trying to see all your videos. Even when things are crazy in the air, I would feel very comfortable knowing that you were flying, always calm and ready for anything.
What an excellent video..the aircraft is fabulous..wife extraordinary..you make a great team..that from a 40 year airline pilot with over 30,000 hours. Absolutely superb.
Wow...thank you!! That is the best compliment I could ever hope to receive as a pilot. Especially from someone with your experience!
Master Warning )
rookie30k ahahahah
30,000hours jeeze. Do you sleep on the taxiway?
Turbo Lover nah...I prefer the hanger..it’s heated
I was waiting for this video! It was cool meeting you guys this year, albeit briefly! Glad you finally got into OSH! Got the invite for the HOPS party next year! Hope I can make it!
Awesome! It was nice to be able to say hey. Hopefully we'll see you at next year's show/Hops party.
Oshkosh would make me nervous too! You two make a great team, and thank you, as always, for sharing the experience. Have fun!
Thank you Mike! I love our team. :)
My grandfather loved to fly more then anything! He would love your videos!!!!
My daughter lives about 30 minutes from Oshkosh and my wife and I try to time our visits to coincide with this awesome show
Even better than camping in a tent is to stay with your daughter. Get to see the show and family all in one trip. :)
Well done you guys ...... I'm an old man who's never been to Osh ..... but - I've watched so many videos, over the years, that I feel I could fly the Fisk approach ................... ;-p
Oshkosh arrivals make us all nervous.. flown in twice and hope to do it again one day, it's quite a trip from Australia but one hell of a show 👍🇦🇺
You flew into OSH all the way from Australia?!?! That would be the flight of a lifetime if so. :)
I live in Fond du Lac! Great to see you guys coming in! Hope you have a great flight this year :)
Looking forward to getting back up there! Hoping to stay at OSH this year though. :)
Love the guys asking for alternate runways early on like it's any old day.
Controller: "The ONLY runway right now is gonna be 27." Repeats 5 times.
Guy in a PA-28: "Any chance of 18?
Hello Twin Cesna 1 Bravo Charlie 😊. I'm new to the channel, and love it! Question: Besides leisure flights, what is your everyday line of work?
Great video. It can be a nervous time but so rewarding. Well done! Thanks for taking us along!
Glad you enjoyed it...well worth it!
“Never been asked to find railroad tracks before” 😂😂😂😂 really enjoyed the adventure. Thanks
That's flying IFR, I follow roads and railroad tracks.
Almost as fun as flying into Sun-n-Fun in Lakeland, FL. You would fly to the water tower and turn right!!
That's awesome Steve! Ya'll do great work for the show there! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Feel like flying along with you guys! Loved it thanks for the videos!
Thanks for the ride! It's been a long time since I last flew! Stay safe and enjoy!
Look at the cool shadow on take off....Thanks for the video. I will make Osh someday....
I don't usually fly that early in the morning...I thought it looked really cool as well. Good luck on getting up there...well worth it!
That was a great shot just before engine run-up.
She was awesome! What a great help mate. My wife won't fly with me at all. Consider yourself blessed.
Glad you enjoyed it...I do consider myself very blessed! Maybe your wife will come around.
amazing video and enjoyed watching the whole vid, amazing flying and u guys fly good together
Whenever I am in dumps I watch their video...such a wonderful couple.Jamie is just so stunning.Wish them both a long happy marriage.
Wow, this video was like a movie: suspense, thrilling, and a bit of romance! Keep it up! Thanks again for an excellent video...
Awesome! Thank you. :)

Love your videos. What a bummer you went through all that just to get turned away especially when they had parking.
Great and precise flying. Nice camera work. The blue angels burst shot was pro. Got my multi in the 310 years back. Nice acft
Glad you liked the video and thank you for your service!! I of course agree with you about 310's. :)
So you got to land, only to get kicked out, flew somewhere else. But at the end, your at the OSH show. Did you drive back?
They have regular shuttle service to and from the local airports. Not as much fun but it worked for us. Next year hopefully we can park at the show!
Got ya! ;)
I loved the bit at the end of the video - the air show - trimendous video, thanks a million.
This is becoming my favorite aviation channel.
Awesome!!! Thank you very much. :)
Great video! Truly shows the madness of an arrival and departure to an air show. Great flying to BTW!
Thank you Jeffrey...glad you enjoyed it!

Awesome...glad you enjoyed it! Things do happen a bit quicker in a twin vs 172. :)
I dont blame her... some of the vids Ive seen are just crazy nuts, especially the 90 and under crowd.

Thanks for the back story on your dad Michael...sounds like he had an awesome flying life! Glad you found us and are enjoying the channel!
Great video... Jamie might be nervous, but she is still a super copilot...
Thanks Gilles...and I agree...she's the best!
I"m two years late in seeing this, but I had just watched the gear go up in the shadow when you mentioned how cool the shadow is. Yes! it was awesome.
Living my dream through you. I hope to someday get my pilots license
Great to have a knowledgeable co-pilot. Great video
I agree Captain...she's the best!
I 've done it many times it's a rush, only the great controllers work there. But the Fondle crack (FLD) was meshed up, after you landed they made you leave, what?
This 310 looks like such a beautiful craft. I've steered a Seneca a few times (not a pilot). I am super jealous. Bucket list maybe yet to come.
Thank you Dennis...she's starting to come around nicely. I got my initial multi in a Seneca.
learned to fly 21 years ago quit cause I had young children wish I would've never stopped huge mistake gonna get a plane start flying with my wife thanks Guys coolest videos everits like I'm in the plane lol
Good luck on getting a plane and getting your wings back! You'll be glad you did. :)
That was pretty cool makes me want to go out and get my pilot's license nice job looks like you guys had some fun on the island it's been a few years since I've been on Put-in-Bay need to go out there and check it out again wish you guys the best and safe flying
I love to fly around the sky’s and never leave home
Glad to help you with that Robert! :)
WOW was absolutely on the edge of my pilots seat. A first rate episode on going to the big show. Thanks.
Awesome...glad you enjoyed it T!
That heavy set fellow in the Top Gun shirt at 36:04 really reduces the overall quality of the video ;) Wish we could have spent more time with y'all up there. Preferably when we weren't all exhausted, sunburnt, and sweaty. Nice vid as usual, Kevo.
Is that you?
Yep.
lol!
Awesome! I very much enjoyed your video. It makes me ache to get up and start flying again!
Well, it's crazy to see how well they do everything, especially in my home city.
Great video, your co-pilot didn’t look to nervous, but was great!!!
hahaha, things you dont want to hear your pilot say while in flight, "wow, i gotta get that fixed" lol,
Oh, My balls not center.
Well, better adjust your seat
Or better yet, be in a fight over the radio where everyone can listen into; telling the coordinator of the airshow is full of it.
Good flying Kevin! What a fiasco trying to get into that airport. Jamie has a good set of eyes and sure is a big help! I don’t think I would have the patience in that 3 ring circus.
That gopro is mounted exactly where it should be...
“Those aren’t buoys”.
"Those are boobs. Nice beautiful boobs".
Enjoy your uploads to TH-cam. Keep 'em coming!
Thank you....glad you're enjoying the channel!
Great to see the CAP cadets marshaling as always!
Very cool! Love it... The life I was born to live but missed... What an awesome couple, great team! Flying is the closest thing to Heaven on Earth beside family and friends!
Well said Rocket Mann and thank you!! Glad you enjoyed the video. :)
6:55 that's right Oh my gosh, it's Oshkosh :D
I just can't seem to focus on the airplane for some reason. I can't figure out what's distracting me...
Gooo Dawgs.. Nice job man Keep it up
Thank you...go dawgs!
GO DAWGS!
Gigem Aggies #4
Geaux Tigers!
Thanks Dennis...glad you liked it!
Seems odd to see Jamie nervous :-). Great video. Oshkosh is on my bucket list.
Not much makes her too nervous. :) Glad you enjoyed it JD!
Born and raised in Oshkosh. This video rocks. Been to the show 40 years, but this took the cake. Love the channel
Wow...thanks BB...glad you thought so!
"Well, here we are, just the four of us..."
😆😆😆😆
You sir are one hell of a pilot. I got lost lomg before you touched down. Damn good flying !
Nice job guys! Keep making videos.
Thank you! We will keep them coming as long as people are enjoying them. :)
First time viewer...great videos, I like this one...did not expect the Oshkosh landing to be so intense...co-pilot is super cool and you guys make a great couple...bring your twin (beautiful plane) to So Cal for mountain flying...check out Big Bear...keep the videos coming...late!
She really loves you...Cuz some of those looks she did...WOW...
Alan Waggoner t
I live in the Town of Winneconne...about a mile away from the strip on Hwy 116 just out of town.
Awesome to watch. Flew right over my house at about 27-28 minutes. 😊
I was SO WAITING for this Vid........Too bad you couldn't Pull some Weight with the controllers. Hey, what the hell, you had a blast anyway, I'm sure.
I really love ear the engine sound ,keep it like this - love cessna 310
Thank you...I think she sounds great too!
This is great!
Thank you!
