I just got 3 koi fish roughly 3 inches long each, I put them in my 33 gallon fish tank and they are very scared when they see me, what do you recommend I do so I can hand feed them? (they eat the food once it reaches the bottom)
Hi Dragonex! You have to be patient with new fish. Let them get used to seeing you and slowly they will know you are feeding them and they will come up. Good luck!

I visit a koi pond regularly and like to feed the fish. One koi ln particular likes me to drop the fish pellet right into his open mouth. Is that ok?

Since I only have 3 baby koi and they are scared I added 4 goldfish to make them more confident. They are roughly the same size as the koi.
I just starte training my smalls koi fishes, but they are starting eat on hand.
Take your time and they will come and greet you. Good luck!

@@pidsme9549 If you introduce a Chagoi it should take a couple of weeks before he starts to recognize you and come closer to feed.
