- All the live action cutscenes from the new Need for Speed (2015) developed by Ghost Games and Electronic Arts. This includes the intro and ending, and are separated by discipline (speed, crew, style, build, outlaw).
Some people might not like these, but screw it - the cheesy as heck live action cinematics are one of my favorite things in Need for Speed and all video games. Subtitles are enabled.
All footage was recorded on my XBOX: ONE and edited by me.

I like it how the game is mixing real life actors with computer-generated environment.
I mean it was cool, when i saw a guy literally walking near my customised Civic, with my name on it.

When I first played this game and saw my customised supra in the Cutscene I was like "holy fuck this is cool" I wish payback was the same lol

Higher Self Lights like in carbon where the woman with the muscle car said "go back where you came from".
That's because in the rest it wasn't a friendly lets show off to the icons battle it was a I'm trying to take you over battle hence crews were not accepting as you were damn challenging their power!
Well in Carbon, the crew bosses think you had something to do with the night they were all arrested. So they have a pretty good reason to not like you

Never played this but this is a heartwarming story. I like that they didn't force any drama into it. Spike doesn't go getting himself killed by being a daredevil because he's jealous of you or anything like that. It's just your character (you) hanging out with a bunch of friends.

Which is precisely why B-acting cutscene will forever reign supreme over the garbage plastic CGI cutscenes from the later Need For Speed, and I want them back.
It's because movie's in 1st person (POV movie) actors involved have to include you, it kinda reminds me of The Office when they looked straight into the camera making us feel the connection through the screen, so real.

I love that they use a real person as the player, and real actors, which I know theyve always done, but it makes you feel like a part of the game, yeah the acting is lame, but thats the "scene", and all the customizing and making it personal makes me wish it was real life lol plus I fucking love Amy, so hot, yet so badass

I personally love these live action scenes in this game its adds to the atmosphere. I wish ghost would've kept these going with heat. I love the cheesiness as its definitely adds to the charm of the game. Hella underground vibes also brings back to the blackbox days where they had live action actors
So many people like to hate the acting here but I really like it, honestly. It’s not the best “acting” per say, but it doesn’t have to be. It wasn’t trying to be that. It looks very natural at points and I feel like it does a great job of capturing 2014/2015 culture and racing culture. As time goes on I appreciate it more for what it did. Like others have said these guys feel like your friends, and that’s kinda cool.
Even the old NFS that people love in Most Wanted or Carbon has bad acting, but that's why we like em. It's cheesy and fun to watch. I rather have real-life cutscenes than CGI cutscenes.
I love how each of the Ventura Bay crew has their own vision and method of doing what they loved to do. Out of all the "Need for Speed" games this is my favorite because
1. There's humor and a sense of Community
2. Real-Life Cutscenes, and Computer Generated Content, excellent blend,
3. Most of all; THE ICONS!!!

I don’t care what anyone says, this game is my favourite game of all time. Ima get hate for saying this but I still play it a lot. There is something about the atmosphere and story line and music that I just loved so much. Forever il have memories with this game. Super under appreciated.

I always imagine all the unnamed drivers is the protagonist from Most Wanted 2005 and he's just gaining worldwide fame as a street race legend.

Idk about later games, but the guy from Underground 1 to Carbon is all the same guy. He's from Palmont City originally, before fleeing to Olympic City after a sabotaged race in Palmont City (the prologue cutscene in Carbon) then after U1 he moves to Bayview in U2, then to Rockport (one of the racers at the start of MW says "look what the Underground let loose, let's see how well you do in daylight"). Then finally after MW he flees back to Palmont again in Carbon, where he is reunited with the guys he fled from 3 years prior. Plus, Ryan Cooper from Pro Street was a former street racer, so there's a strong possibility that he's the same guy from all the previous games too, although it's never been confirmed.

People shit talk this game, but it's honestly one of my favourite games in the entire series. Yeah the physics were a little weird and the cutscenes were a little cringey, but I just loved the gritty street racing atmosphere and I actually liked the characters themselves despite the cheesy dialogue. I also loved how everyone was nice to you which is a breath of fresh air compared to the hostile nature of past NFS characters, and not to mention the whole game was like a big love letter to the Underground days. It was a great game for fan service & nostalgia, and it has real character about it.

Thanks for going to the trouble to put this together! The acting, the lines, the infinite number of fistbumps, it couldn't have been easy to cut. But I gotta say, they did a great job of dropping your car into the scenes and making it look like it was really there.

@@scottibugatti7122 Nahhh, it's definitely not all in one night. Any NFS game that is night 24/7 (the Undergrounds and Carbon) I like to think takes place over a few weeks/months, maybe 3 or 4 races per night. It takes time to earn rep and get noticed so it's only natural it's over a longer period of time.

NFS15 might not be a perfect NFS game, but seeing how Ghost Games tried to reboot the street racing vibes of the games we know and love, I'll appreciate them for that, and I think the story is pretty charming in itself, definitely gives me Underground vibes. The fact Ken was in these cutscenes, and the game in general, makes it special. Rest in peace.

Say what you want about the gameplay, you have to admire that the "story" of NFS2015 amounts to just some street-racing buddies hanging out. After the edge-fest that was Rivals, it's a breath of fresh air.
Shame they went right back into the overly-edgy stuff with Payback, though. It should say enough that *Sgt. Cross* from Most Wanted 2005 couldn't stomach working for the police in Payback's setting.
That's what I really like about this game and the cutscenes, it's just some street racing buds hanging out I love that. Simple, relatable and fun.
Wut? Rivals story wasn't and edgefest and it and Paybacks stories were better than this crap.

I completed this game a 100%, All prestige gold. The handling is something you have to sit down for and really learn. Once you have it it is not that bad

I love the whole Need For.Speed Timelines.....for example, I love we went from racing Tuners over in Asia, to Racing in Rockport, to racing on "Carbon Ridge" to taking down the "Most Wanted Racers" then sliding "Undercover" to meeting my "Rivals" to racing out in Vegas taking down a race boss in "Payday" then.drifting down with "Heat" in Miami. Can't forget taking I up on "Pro Street" (not necessarily in this order) but you get the ideal......"Need For.Speed" Rocks ! 🖤♦️♣️♠️❤🖤♦️

Everyone whining like every NFS before with a story didn't have cheesy acting and bad slang. Have any of you played the Blackbox titles after HP 2? Also atleast Ghost in the real cutscenes had actual modified cars, in Blackbox ones they never even used the right cars sometimes to the characters and then in game it'd be confusing as fuck. Least the character cars in this are the same as in the cutscenes visually too.
