KSRTC SARIGE buses are replaced after they run for 10lakhs KMs to ensure fuel efficiency and they use 20-25% ethanol to save on fuel too. Plus they keep upgrading features with new buses and try to add more comforts with new models. That coupled with good drivers and strict time schedules is the reason why they operate well.

I experienced lot with KSRTC Karnataka State Bus .... really awesome services and quality of buses are very excellent and pleasant. I never expected such kind of different upgraded buses like in western countries...a bus called Siri in Hubli Dharwad city buses and it's MRTS bus roots are extremely good...I am expecting such kind service and good quality buses in Tamil Nadu too ....but it would come true only in dreams I think so

Comfort, speed la KSRTC is good. TNSTC has to improve quality of buses and become more efficient to become profitable so they can also provide better features in the buses and have better frequency of buses too

KSRTC is a bit faster, cleaner, better seats.
New TNSTC buses are ok too.
Drivers and conductors in both are nice (mostly)

@@mar5222yes. I travelled in new TNSTC bus between Tiruvannamali and Madurai, and in KSRTC SARIGE between MYSURU & Madurai. KSRTC ride was much more comfortable and faster since the seats are thicker.
They can make the seat cushions in new TNSTC buses a bit more thicker so it doesn’t hurt the back and give more leg space

Yes have not travelled into dense forest area in Coorg but will cover in my next trip to see 😉 the location
But less forest and hills compare to nilgiri district, hills and forest level is just like wayanad district Kerala, even climate same as wayanad Kerala, so coorg and wayanad same type......
