Just binged the first 30 episodes while working, and this came out 4 minutes ago. Perfect timing.
Wife and I are currently saving up to get our looper boat.

You guys are sooo amazing! Here's the thing, I can't find the energy to put a photo album together and you are assembling the most amazing time capsule for yourself, your children and us! Your children will be sharing this with their children one day. I know I will never meet you but I feel like you are friends! Shine on!!!!!

LOL. Thank you for saying this!!! If it makes you feel any better, "start Loop Vlog" was on our To Do list for a solid year before we actually started editing and posting our VLOG. These things take time but we think it is worth it to preserve the memories. And what a bonus to hear that you are enjoying the episodes. You never know when you post things like this. Is it going to be entertaining for all or just like watching your great aunts vacation slides. Thanks so much for joining this adventure with us. And never say never. I hope our paths cross in person one day. If you see us, you must say hi. :)

Exploring marinas on the Chesapeake Bay by dinghy is WHY I own a boat! That, and anchoring out are my favorite boating activities.

You guys definitely conquered Annapolis. You hit the right ice cream store. The dinner at the seafood looked great, I've eaten there before and it's very nice. I've never seen such problems with out of control drinking like that but I'm always right in ego Alley where there's a greater police presence. It's a great place and used to be even better many years ago. Faucets Marine store was the greatest along with several other boat friendly businesses.

Calling 911 would have been appropriate as the harbor patrol is usually just another division of local police. Drinking and driving is still illegal, be it on the water or on the road. With that aside, I absolutely love watching you guys having fun with your adventures. I do feel a sense of remorse as I spent 13 years in the Navy and never made it to Annapolis. Thanks for showing me what I missed. Thank you, Mark, for the wonderful sign-off. I thoroughly enjoyed my years in the Navy. I spent my first three years on a guided missile destroyer (out of San Diego) and truly loved sailing all over the western Pacific and Indian Oceans and the various seas and gulfs in between. I also spent 18 months on the John F. Kennedy, one of the super-carriers out of Norfolk. I finished my sea duty aboard an old submarine tender, the USS Proteus at Naval Station Guam. Anyway, thank you for your salute to the Navy!

Thankfully the previous owner had the boat full of spare parts that save our behinds in more ways than one. Unfortunately, we didn't have a ton of footage from being out and about in Annapolis. My phone was having storage issues and Mark spent most of his time on the boat fixing things. Guess we just need to go back!

@ I sent a link to Bill. He thought it was so cool that you captured the event. They have been working on the boat ever since then. They had to remove the entire saloon floor to get to the damage in the engine room. The cause was an exhaust pipe being to close to wood in the engine room. They had just bought the boat and were on the way down to Urbanna, VA with it.

I agree that you need to tell the authorities that someone is boating while intoxicated. Boating accidents happen every day and alcohol is usually a contributing factor. Its not like you were really caring when they were sitting still. I read a book once that really resonated that said if you dont say or do anything than nothing gets better. We are all worried about looking like "Karens" but if they are a threat to safety than you have to speak up. "He took of all his jewelry to fight" made me laugh out loud! This episode was a real sh!t show 🤣

Too many people think they are "boat headlights" to use all the time when in fact they are only to be used while docking if needed. @@TheBoomershines I am a Coast Guard Auxiliary boat crew, usually the helmsman on my 24-foot Yamaha jet boat that we use as a patrol boat on the Ohio River. Most of the time there are enough lights around that it is no problem to see and navigate at night. There are some sections of the Ohio that there are no houses, roads or navigation lights in sight. We then may use a spotlight to check for trash and trees that might be in our way. Most people think they can go as fast at night as they do during the day which sometimes this leads to senseless crashes and deaths.
