I'm coming back to your channel after many years away. I started when you were getting the zephyr finished out. Hope y'all weathered the storm's aftermath. A terrible tragedy for so many.
We made the mistake of taking on the Albemarle in the evening instead of waiting for the next morning. Felt like we were hitting the bottom of the sound with each chop. We couldn't go through the Great Dismal Swamp because it was too dry the year we went.
Wow! I think I'm first! P S. While watching and listening to the video, I became mesmerized by the swinging of the boat, back and forth. That's livin'!
Hope you had or are having a nice visit . Thank you for visiting . If you are here now I can make suggestion for your visit . Please return . Best Regards, Conway
Love your updates. We live in Oriental and are very familiar with your latest cruising area. Quick question- what brand/model is your weather station on your bow? Pleased with it?
Thanks for the update, very interesting as usual.
I have lived in Oriental for a few years now. Glad you enjoyed the area. It is a good place to live.
We definitely enjoyed our stop there.. !

Oh wow.. that's a long time! Thanks for following along so far. We are fine, hard to complain when so many are in dealing with much worst.
Glad you enjoyed our coast
Coastal NC really impressed us.. memories to last a lifetime!
Stop telling folks about Oriental. It’s our little secret hidden gem. Just kidding, it’s a wonderful place to live. Glad you had a safe trip.

We can only imagine how much worse the Albemarle can get! Hopefully we never have to find out.
Have family in New Bern. Great fudge can be found there 😀
There seems to be no shortage of fudge around these parts.. thankfully, nicely off our diets :D
I hope you are safe after meeting up with "Helene". Can't wait until the next part of the story.
We are sitting safely at anchor up the James River.. hoping we can arrive to at the docks Richmond soon, after the floods recede.

Not sure which location you are referring to in this video ... but we are now up near Richmond, VA.

It is an Ambient Weather WS-2000 - so far, it has been solid.

@@Technomadia how does it compensate for the direction of the boat since it’s always changing?
We just have North set towards to bow. On the boat, relative direction is more useful than the compass direction.
@@Technomadia That make sense. Thanks agin for the information.
