  • It’s been a bit of a wait, 2 years but eventually the Piko BR130/131/132 sound decoder is now in stock. Big thanks to Gaugemaster for sorting this one out. It’s twice the price of the Hornby HM 7000 TXS decoder I originally installed with a Class 50 sound profile and it does have some nice features. This model has been such a brilliant bit of kit, she deserves the treat though. She has performed faultlessly and sold me on TT:120 while we all waited for the Hornby models to arrive. 2 years on now she can sing her own song. At last having a British RTR scale that is correct and compatible with the rest of the world does mean we can indulge in some overseas flings without size ruining the illusion. #hornby #hornbyrailways #modelrailwaylayout #piko #train #ludmilla

Great! I assume for controlling from the app you are using the "dongle"? Or you just have classic controller?

I use a Dynamis Ultima (ESU Navigator rebadged) for control. I did try a different newly announced system as a potential replacement but it’s absolutely terrible and gone back.

@@HighFell OH, so you control HM7000 using this one also?

@@GlibVideo no, I control whole layout on a traditional DCC system, a Dynamis Ultra. I tried a new system, that was a disaster.

@@47606odin the beauty of an HM 7000 TXS decoder is, it can be anything that a a profile exists for 😁
