- OK Guys, it's time to take a look at the big game last night between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins.. Game 3! Of a best of 7 playoff series. The Bruins won this game by a score of 4-2.. Brad Marchand played a huge role in their win, however there was a LOT of drama during this one with the officiating.. Marchand might be a Rat, but last night he tied Cam Neely for the most playoff goals (55) in the history of the Boston Bruins, ahead of Patrice Bergeron, Phil Esposito, and Rick Middleton.
Marchand is an all world player. Period.

Brad Marchand is the literal definition of “love him on my team but hate him to play against”. Not only does he know how to get away with all the stuff he does but he’s insanely skilled at the game he’s got some silky hands and knows how to snipe the net.
remember how on draft day brad marchand was caught sucking schiettman's shwantz in the bathroom of the nhl offices: one, so the tallest midget on earth could get into the nhl, and second, so he would end up on the schiettman assembled goon squad.....if it wasn't for schiettman the bahstin goons would be about as nothing as they've always been....firkin hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

This Leafs crowd reeks of casual fans
Leafs tickets during the regular season are too expensive for the average person, so I can only imagine how much they cost in the playoffs. 90% of those seats were probably filled with corporate bought tickets and used to entertain out of town clients.

As a bruins fan, I was stunned after the game when PK stood up and defended March. Said he's a HOF and the leafs just have to work harder to out play him.

I've been a Bruins fan since 1968. If Brad Marchand was on any other team I'd hate his guts, but he's on the Bruins. At first I was stunned that they gave him the Captain's "C". I was thinking anybody but him. He's got too bad a reputation and practically the entire league hates him. I was pleasantly surprised that he calmed down and started acting like a team captain. He still has his little outbursts, as do most other players, but he's kept it under control for the most part. At least he stopped licking people (disgusting...). I'll support the LBOH (little ball of hate)!

I love that 'infested by rats' analogy. The health inspectors would have a long night writing a report which would easily close down the arena.
The love/hate relationship is strong with Bradley. This guy is top of the league when it comes to getting in your head and getting his team to put pucks in the net. Hate him all you want but 1. He doesn’t care and 2. You’re missing out admiring a masterclass in winning a fast, physical sport for a guy that is 5’9”. This is the NHL - no room for withering Leafs and Leafs fans.

Wow that dive by bertuzzi was first class! He got me believing. Just hadn’t seen that angle yet. Either way him and Marchand were playing each other and not the puck so it really had no bearing on Frederic’s goal.
Its kinda finny waching different play off games and seeing so many players from montreal's 2021 play off year on different competing teams. You have Denault, Kulak and Perry playing against eachother. Lekonen, Edmonson there are probably more. Fun to see them all competing for a cup again.

I live a couple hours from Toronto, but while being a Bruins fan, I have received dozens of free Leaf game tickets from other companies that we work with. From box seats, club seats and ice level seats. Most of the people I was near couldn't give one crap about the game, they just wanted the free food, booze and to "network". When I have actually paid myself for more "modest" tickets for Leaf/Bruins games, I was able to see and meet the "true" Leaf fans. I would go with one of my kids, both of us dressed in Bruins gear, and was treated with respect and was able to have civil conversations and express our views on the respective strengths/weaknesses of our teams with the Leaf fans around us. They would yell and cheer for their team and bleed for their team. The corporate seats, not a sound. So when someone ever says the Leaf fans aren't supportive and quiet, they are literally being drowned out by the silence of the corporate season ticket holders guests. I have been to games in Toronto, Montreal, Detroit, Buffalo and Boston and the only place that made shake my head and wonder is Toronto. If the tickets were obtainable and reasonably priced, the Leaf fans would be rocking the house down.

Next game is a definitely a must win for the Leafs. If not- the crawl back is on but very unlikely to happen. Special teams has definitely been the difference this series. I hope they can get the next one to keep the series interesting but we’ll see.

As a leafs fan your right. If bert can get away with shit so can marchy, I hate the guy but its fair game. The Mccavoy pulldown was stupid, but the leafs went 0-5 on the PP anyways so it wouldn't have made a difference. And i just don't think Keefes coaching style is good for the leafs. They need a guy that doesn't punish playing physical. And they need a PP coach that can adjust between a crash the net, and a 1-3-1 one timer setup (like the lightning employ). I'm not a huge habs fan but i like your takes and love both the slaf and Reinbacher pickups. Hope you guys land Celebrini. I miss the old habs-leafs rivalry.

4:44 I didn't notice while watching the game, but did Samsonov take a puck to the mask here before throwing it off like that? When it happened I thought it just came off as he made a save, but watching it here in slow motion you can tell he was tossing it off himself. Maybe he had a loose strap or something, but if he just wanted to stop the play, that's bullshit.

I was really impressed with leafs defense tbh. I think coaching is half the issue here, Kefe has stated that he intentionally plays a strong forward game, so I tend to doubt that Toronto defense is the problem, but rather the calls and strategy being made. Marner has yet to really step up.
Look I know there is a huge feud between Boston and Toronto, but I just want to say that both teams have played a good game. It could definitely be anyone’s game, but I still think Boston has the skill to just push through to the finish line.
