This is my first time watching one of your videos. Watching while i take the train to work in Oslo. What a fantastic railway you have! I am completely jealous. I need to get my finger out and start building. Great work. Keep the videos coming 👍
I’ve just found y’all’s railroad site…. & I quite enjoy it !! The gentleman with the long straight silver hair, reminds me a lot of a kids show icon from when I was younger & I mean no offense by the comparison to ‘Captain Kangaroo’…. A lot of wonderful childhood memories. Took a ride on the last steam train outta Shreveport Louisiana’s Union Station (USA) Have dabbled with steam for some 40+ years. Good times.
I'm just starting to catch up with videos. My grandson and I always enjoy watching your videos. It did raise a smile from him when you spilt your beverage. Did you catch my grandson's Dylington Rocks video he uploaded yesterday, rock music, flashing lights and a few trains. I think he's done a good job with it, although I did like the stop motion animation he did on his last one. Looking forward to your next video...Cheers James 🙂👍
@Elvinley well I hope you enjoy them if and when you get the chance to watch them. If you get a chance to watch them, let me know on here what you think to them ...Cheers James 🙂👍
@@DYLINGTONMODELRAILWAY Just watched Dylington Rocks - excellent work! Really realistic and the scene - not the music - reminded me of seeing New Model Army at Chepstow castle a few years ago!
@Elvinley thank you for watching and taking the time to comment on his latest video, and I'm pleased you enjoyed it. We are hoping to get started on his 009 layout over the Easter school holidays, so once he's got going I'm sure there will be a video update on his channel. Cheers, James 🙂👍
Brilliant little loco, ya need a new way of operating the whistle though tbh… I’d love to come visit in person & see the little engine. It’d be so much better to see irl.
If only! No, there is no chance for a number of reasons: I don't own the land beyond the end of the line. The road is in use at all times of the day even though it is very quiet at most times. To cross a public road would need planning applications and thousands of pounds etc etc... The gradient is too harsh. I could go on!
I’m having a slow morning… not by choice. So, time to muse, ponder, and cogitate. Two questions. Firstly, have you thought about modelling the ‘Ivy’ in 009 or suitable? Secondly, have you considered running a 3 loco service. I’m so sad, I’ve done the diagram. Starting with loco B on the mainline at the passing loop, and A and C in the balloon. First movement is A to the passing loop which initiates B to the balloon, which initiates C to the passing loop. Six movements and your back to the beginning. Best thing is, no signalling required, as a loco arrival initiates a loco departure. I said I was sad. I apologise. (Loco in passing loop has to move to mainline to clear loop and wait for arrival of next loco, of course). Cheers.
That is a great idea my friend! I think this should be done in the summer. It could even be done with a special token. As for the OO9 idea - Great idea! I may indeed try it at some point. Problem is lack of space as usual!
And thanks for making it! Always a pleasure to watch and listen to you.
Thanks a lot!!
Beautifully shot! I have my nature and railway fix! Thank you!
Thanks again!

Thanks so much Richard! I'm always tinkering about on it, so the vids keep coming. I've played in Oslo. Very nice place!

@@lakesiderailwayco2484 you'd be welcome!
Very nice, Curious, will you ever be able to continue past the road?

@@Elvinley Yes, token! Perfect. Looking forward to the ‘Ivy Summer Gala’🙂. You’ve got a great crew around you, for driving, and filming.
@@tabriff3832 Absolutely!
What do your neighbours think of the railway.
They like it! Most of them have travelled on it at some point. They are a friendly community here.
Every good railway video needs a proper beverage spill!
And that was a really good one I reckon!
