I’m sorry to hear about your loss. I wanted to say that you are right about Talyllyn’s scale. All of the Bachmann Thomas range is actually scaled to OO, but they are labeled as HO to keep it familiar to the American market. Great video!

The sound certainly helps bring your layout to life Ian, and the scenics are amazing. It's a great looking layout. At the moment we're working on a Christmas scene on Dylington, so hopefully Dylan will get a video done in time for Christmas...cheers James 🙂👍

Having sound really adds a whole new dimension to the layout. My hobby is computer flight simulation and sounds in that really do take away or add realism. Thanks for the video.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Life can be a bitch at times and sadly, as we get older, it happens more often. I'm so glad that you have your hobby to immerse yourself in to ease the grief. I love watching this layout. It is so relaxing to just sit and watch life go by in this village. It must be even better in person. Good wishes to you and Sarah, take care of each other.

Nice update. Time is passing quickly - while you have lit the fire for heat, we have had the air con on to cool off already. Nice to see the train operating, especially with the first class coach out. Keep well.

Still no leaf blower. Have you given any thought to mounting a leaf rake to your equipment? How about a small two axle car with a horizontal motorized rotating brush? I guess you could just use your broom and rake. Cheers.

Hello! I hope it's not too much but where did you buy or find your N° 2 Elizabeth, and can you tell me her class? I am planning on making a railway in my backyard, and since the route won't be very long, I was interested in buying one to provide express and freight services over short and medium distances

Great videos - always entertaining. BTW do you recall where you got the handrails for Hefty from please?

Loved the sound effects (as well as everything else). I wondered if you could do a video covering more detail of how to do that both from the software and hardware you use. I've decided against DCC but do like sound effects so other ways of achieving ambient sounds are of interest.

It kind of reminds me of that children's programme that used to run on BBC television for many years - "In the night garden".

Thank you for this amazing video. I really like these models. The few times I have seen model layouts like this "in the flesh" I have been most astounded by the detail in the background. The trains themselves are great but it is the background that brings the whole scene to life. My imagination runs wild with what I see and thinking "what happens next". I may sound like a nutter but that's the pleasure I get from them.

This is incredible,what a fine engine,matched only by the incredible architecture supporting the rails. This is one of the masterpieces.

i really like your railway, it really looks like a real railway
