To set aside any personal feelings and make it about the joy of his child being in charge of his own testimony says a lot about the character of his father and the family he comes from. Beautiful.

My heart was enriched with Hope for humanity when you shared your courageous acceptance of the restored gospel❤.Sure wish I could attend your teaching class in Elders Quorum. Proud of your Parents for the Son & Children they raised- and obviously Our Heavenly Parents & Savior as well ❤.Thank goodness you’ve inspired me to work deeper in my Scripture studies. My beloved Mother was Southern Baptist, and Knew her Scripture well.

First time listening to the podcast. Tuned in just to hear a conversion story for the Christmas season. What a bunch of great questions and a more wonderful story. Rooting for you Ty!

I am so sorry you all have such a rough time with some members. Keeping it real is the only path to God. Don't let anyone tell you different. Your beautiful family made you the amazing man you are today. The lives you are going to touch as you continue your faith journey, it's going to be incredible in the here after, and here on Earth! Bless you for sharing your story!

I appreciate your channel and can relate to your name
    (Brothaz-in-the Foyer) lol.
I’m Tongan-white, born and raised in the church. And as teenagers that lacked direction and misunderstood, the foyer was the place of comfort for us. It’s where we felt fit in.
But not to distract from this amazing video, congrats to Tyriq and his journey. What he’s describing regarding the way we need to approach non-members is completely true. That’s the holier way to minister to the world. Sounds like his parents are true disciples of Christ who taught him well.
I wish you the best in life. And looking forward for the updated video of your family joining you in this beautiful gospel. Ofa atu.

What an absolutely beautiful conversion story. Thank you young man for sharing it with us. And as for that “friend” who told you, “it’s only hair”? You could, with every honest conviction, say the same thing to them. It’s only hair, it’s not going to make a difference as to where you will end up in the next world. Yeah, their priorities are confused.

I have a two foster boys from Haiti. One of them joined the church and attendes the Spanish ward. We live in west jordan. In your opinion would it be good for him to see and interact with the genesis ward? He's more Latino in culture but now lives here. Support anywhere would be good. To build community.

To answer your question, yes. Take him and attend with him.
