- Playing dean from hell dimebag guitar and unboxing first impressions! Lightning shoots out of headstock as I stomp on one of my effect pedals
This has been my dream guitar ever since I listened to pantera for the first time. I'm going to treat myself to it next time it's available

You know the volume on that amp is cranked when it shakes the snare on the clean channel
Yessir and I turned it down it was really cranked on my previous vids. It sounds better on film with lower volume.

Nice.....I'll let Dime know his merch is still selling years and years later when I visit for the holidays. He's buried 75 yards or so from several of my family members. I got pics of him and Vinnies graves around Christmas......a couple of different years too. They go all out on decorations

You're lucky, I got mine delivered from guitar center,nothing was set up, spent over an hour tuning, adjusting the neck etc. Was PISSED that they just took it off the rack,wrapped it up and sent it
Yeah, when I go to guitar center most of there guitars aren’t setup and have old strings. My friend bought this guitar from American music supply. It was on back order for a longtime.

My friend bought his one and I think it was several months but the dean from hell is more popular so that’s why it was back ordered
Nice guitar just bought one a couple months ago love it china made who cares I'd rather have 3 or 4 Chinese made guitars than spend 4 grand on a u.s.a. made blue collar wages and kids gotta be realistic

Hey, I cant believe it didn't come with an actual Bill Lawrence 500XL pick up. I have that pickup and it sounds way better than the Seymour Duncan dimebucker... you should look into that PUP.
This is a Chinese model it has the dimebucker which sounds pretty good the price was around $900 and has cheaper floydrose and it has a pao fero fretboard which is the main difference. A usa dean would be around $3500
@@telicogarage oh that's not bad at all! I know people obses over where it's made but me personally if it plays good and it looks like the real thing without breaking the bank I'm all for it. I just thought it was in the price range of the high-end model but didn't come with all the high end specs. Either way cool guitar, brother.

@@telicogarage You know what's another cool guitar and actually my favourite dime guitar of all time is his original concrete sledge guitar and I know Dean did a run of those. You going to do more demos of it, or playthroughs? If so I'll keep an eye out. Can't help but try to do those dime squeals everytime I come across a floyd rose lol or what he would call "dumpin" the whammy bar.
@@eldiablo3794 I always liked the primal concrete sledge guitar it would be awesome to get one of those. And yeah the Floyd rose I been dumping it to hard I been poping strings and comes out of tune when I really DIME it.
Picked up a ML warbird back in 09 for £800 could of got this model for £900 but I just had to get hold of any kind of ML quick as possible next problem was the shoes you gotta fill going any where near dime 😂😣😫
I think my friend payed $1,000. And yeah I can play pretty good but if you take that guitar anywhere I know what people are thinking…I like Stratocaster

It didn’t come with a hard case? Thats bullcrap. Is that the cheapest model? Deserves a case like mine. I bought mine a long time ago that looks like a better bridge I don’t know. But it should have came with a hard case.

@@floridianthrasher5426 USA is always gonna be better quality and the price like 3,500 but this Chinese dean is quality for the price of $850. The main difference is the wood in the fretboard. This one is pao ferry wood the us is rosewood or ebony. And the floydrose is cheaper

@@telicogarage big dime fan here...was sad about vin when he passed but at the time I came across a guy named delta on TH-cam who does drum covers and he's able to play his stuff and did a tribute..u should check it out,but his solos always gave me chill bumps I could really feel his spirit through the strings he was amazing🙏..great video too dude u can handle an axe like my dad tells other cats since he's been playing for over 30 years..it's definitely a gift yall have that brings something much needed in music..be good an keep the good stuff coming
@@theshamonk1881 thank you for the kind words. I’m a big pantera fan I never got to see them. But when I play or listen to the music they are there. I remember when vinny passed away we were at a party and a friend come up to me and told me then we drank and celebrated his life 333.
@@telicogarageI never had the honor of seeing them either but at the age I was my mom was like F noooooo!..I mean,CFH she didn't mind but vulgar display killed any chance😆....but over the years pantera has always been that unique metal u will only hear from them and nowhere else and that's what made dime an Vinny great cause it was their dream and vision and they died while they were still bringing some of the best chords,rhythms and rolls we've ever heard..that was a blessing from beyond 💙

Sweet axe man! But I dont think that's an actual "dean from hell" model. The actual "dean from hell" reissues had the kiss sticker and it actually says "dean from hell" on the headstock in sharpie, to replicate what dime did. Sweet guitar nonetheless!
I don’t think it’s a resissue but it is a dean from hell. Made in China. If it was a USA dean it would be $4,000 and hopefully it would have everything right down to every last aspect
