I have been natural for several years but have not seen growth. I have come to the conclusion that my hair is breaking at the ends. I will go further in taking care of my hair. As a young girl, my hair was long and thick. I will take more effort to nurture my God given hair.

I don't think wig hinders hair growth.
For me, I stopped going to the saloon, it's almost 6 months and I'm seeing progress, but I use wigs. Wigs help me manipulate my hair less because I go to work even on Sundays. I also avoid cornrows, they are not good for my hair, makes my hair break a lot.
I'm 4 years natural, but I've use extensions only twice in these 4 years. Now I avoid extensions completely, follow her teachings and then wigssssss. But I use a wig cap first.
Chris I am in, infact have started already since last month. Thanks for exposing me to this self love on my natural hair. I wear it with more and more and more pride now.

How many inches is your hair presently?
I stated this challenge in January and my hair has never looked and felt this healthy! ❤ I also stopped putting extensions in my hair because I realized they were causing excessive shedding.

May I suggest a video? I'd like to see a "glam cam", I mean a video like a L'Oréal ad, where you let your hair loose and wave it around, you play with it and really let us enjoy the fullness and length of your hair. The camera focuses on shiney, lustrous long hair. Do you think you can give us some hair play videos? It would be nice to see what you come up with. ❤ God bless.

You may not know me...but am not the Lady to do "hair play videos" ....am not an entertainer. I teach how to nurture and grow out Natural hair...not how to play with it. So thanks for your suggestion, but No Thanks!

I think my mention of a commercial made it sound very laborious, but that wasn't my intention, whenever a before an after is shown or a hair update after a while, she also shows her hair and that was sort of the reason why I came up with this.

I have started using the tea rinses and my hair has not been the same. After 2 treatments my hair fall out or breakage has stopped 😂😂 I am definitely on board for this 1 year challenge. I am buying the Harmony hair products. Finding this channel was the answer to my hair care

They are very good, start with what you have
The teas I mentioned here are for UV Protection. However bay leaves and lemongrass teas are also good teas as each tea serves it's own purpose.

I feel like this challenge of no extension is necessary for my hair. I will do the 4month tea rinse with no hair extensions. Then I will see if I can continue b/c this will give me time to learn my hair.- time stamp for me 4/25/24

I wanted to know if you get more looks from men, have you ever had women say that it's not real, I just wanted to know your experience. I know when my hair was really long and I would straighten it, they would all call me a liar and walk off and say that's not my real hair because it was so long. Hello! Question, is it normal to have small short hairs on your head in addition to the long ones. I have noticed few where my parts are ( i loose twist) and wanted to make sure those are normal
Yes it's normal....all the strands on your head aren't equal cos they are at different stages in the hair growth cycle.
