    Moisture Training:
    Hydrate before you apply products to prepare tge strands accept whatever you want to apply.
    Massage in products properly.
    Deep condition regularly.
    Use leave-in conditioner after washing to prep the hair.
    Seal in the moisture - oils or butter creams.
    Get a Remoisturizing routine.

    When you started to talk about why it is not easy for natural oil to be distributed down our hair shaft, I screamed within me.
    That's a subject I just started learning about of recent and I find that it has made me more aware of why we naturals do not play with moisturising our scalp and hair.
    Thank you once again Fairy Fro Mother for this wonderful lesson.

    Thank you so much my dearest sister for this information. You have a very beautiful hair. I want to grow my daughter"s natural hair and I want to follow your routine. Please I have few questions for you. How often do I need to wash her hair(weekly, bi weekly or monthly)? How often do I deep condition and how often do I remoisturerise ?. You talked about wearing ptotective styles to protect the hair. Is braiding hair with extention part of the protective styles?. I ask this question because my daughter loves braiding with hair extentions.

    • @lindsaychrisharmony
      @lindsaychrisharmony  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Trim as and when necessary. Am not a fan of "your hair must be leveled at the ends or have that equal ends" cos we have different growth rates on different parts of our head. But everyone has the right to trim as they dim fit.

    Thank you for sharing your healthy hair journey. Do you find the products you use soil your clothes, furniture, and face (sides of your face and neck) that can cause issues?

    • @lindsaychrisharmony
      @lindsaychrisharmony  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You are welcome. Happens especially when the weather is kind of hot.. the first 2 days after I moisturize...so I have a handkerchief to wipe the back of my neck once in while...and my pillow case and satin bonnet gets washed often. I don't lie or sit and put my head on any of my furniture directly...I have to first spread my silk scarf before my head touches that part of the furniture. The handkerchief also helps me wipe any side of my face that it touches...if it does. It doesn't cause me any issues at all.

      Me personally I wipe my scalp with rosemary witch hazel in between washes because hair grows from a clean and healthy scalp. That way I can go longer in between washes. I wash every other week and I use a tea spritz with tea tree, rosemary, peppermint and ylang ylang essential oils my tea is green, lavender and peppermint tea and aloe Vera juice and glycerin

    • @lindsaychrisharmony
      @lindsaychrisharmony  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      There is not specific number times we are meant to moisturise our hair cos our hairs are different, plus the weather conditions where people are, are different..so basically do what works for your hair. Once or twice a week is ok. Use shampoo that helps with clarifying your hair every 6 weeks...so then you should wash once in 2 weeks(with your regular moisturising shampoo)...if you are too occupied, once in 3 weeks. This will take care of the build up.
