A very important yet often overlooked maintenance item is keeping the drains clean so the water can drain properly. This video is a follow up to my first video and show you where one additional drain in the car is and how to properly maintain it.

Raychel Harvey oh no! Hate that for you. Hope you find it ASAP. Maybe the plastic rear window is cracked? Please report back and let us know!

Help Me DIY hey so I had a wet door panel at the bottom of the door that leaked onto my carpet last week. Got awfully close to under the seat. Ripped apart the door on the weekend and the membrane was perfect. But from what I can tell water might run down the A pillar (think that’s what it’s called. The pillar the windshield is attached to). And run down the bottom of the door and somehow get past the seal. This might be something to look at too

Is there another rear drain in the soft top channel on the outside of the seat belt?

+Peter McCulloch I assume you’re not talking about the ones from Part 1?

Yes, I think there are drains near the rear drip trays on the rail the roof runs on. It's on the Mike Focke diagram on his piece on water in cabin, but I am not sure about it. I was hoping it would feature in the video. My hard top is leaking and all drains you point out are clear. I'm hoping its these mystical ones. Going to have an investigation today.

@@HelpMeDIY There are indeed little drain holes at the end of the channel that the roof runs on. The Trombone thing on your vid can be used to clean it out. A bit fiddly getting the angle though as it's almost obscured...
Unrelated to my issue though. Had to lift the soft top off to find and seal a hidden rip in the drain tray.
