The packaging says it works to "open and close" dvd players. Can you actually toggle through menu items on the dvd screen with this remote?

Since the remote has a DVD open/close button, it also has the ability to navigate through a DVD's menu options. You'll just need to make sure that (1) you program your brand of DVD player into the remote and (2) you press the DVD device button before you try operating your DVD player. Pressing the DVD device button ensures your remote is in DVD mode. The remote works to turn on my TV but the arrows don’t work up and down when I’m going to the streaming services. What do I do? Do you have an E2 for that help?

If you're using a compatible streaming device, such as a Roku box, make sure you press the STR or STRM device button before trying to operate your streaming device with the remote.
If you're using a smart TV with built-in streaming, you may be experiencing partial code functionality. Simply stated, your remote is using a code that only controls some of your device’s functions. Device manufacturers will reuse portions of their codes with alternate models, so there’s most likely another code stored in your remote that will provide better functionality. To locate it, try reprogramming the remote using direct code entry for each of the other codes for your TV as noted in the code list or try using the automatic code search method. Please note that some TV brands have a specific code for their Roku TV models. Here are some helpful programming links:

I purchased the 8 device remote and there are no codes for the onn Android TV streaming stick. I tried using the onn tv codes but they didn't work.

Thanks for reaching out. Your remote uses an infrared signal (IR) to communicate with other IR devices. The onn. Android streaming stick uses radio frequency instead of IR. Therefore, your universal remote will not operate your streaming stick since the communication modes incompatible.

How to add desired apps to app1 app2 app3 buttons?

Thanks for reaching out. App hotkeys are not programmable. Instead, they align with your smart TV or streaming device's built-in apps. For example, if you have programmed a smart TV or streaming device into your universal remote and that device comes programmed with Netflix as the primary app, then the universal remote's app (or app 1) hotkey will open the Netflix app. However, if your smart TV comes programmed with Amazon Prime as the primary app, then the app (or app 1) hotkey will open Amazon Prime. If your remote has three app hotkeys, they'll align with the apps your device has programmed as 1, 2 and 3.

It keep asking for a password when using enter button how do i get it
