First off, RIP Gary Rossington....sad day for Skynyrd fans. Thank you Scott for this great lesson. Your tutorials help keep this great music alive.
i never realized how fundamentally sound all the skynyrd guitarists were. thanks a million for the lesson, particularly the slow down play of the lead. it gives me something to practice.
All the Skynyrd boys were Solid guitarist, and they never stepped on each others toes 👍
Hi Scott, I don’t like to talk politics of the current band but I always loved Artimus and his contributions to the original band and hope he’s doing well. You guys in my book have done a fine job at keeping the Skynyrd sound alive and hope to see y’all live one day soon.
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Awesome man thanks. Truly miss good ol Rock n Roll
Great lesson Scott I'm glad your back I missed you.
So nice to see you posting another lesson, been a while. As always much appreciated Scott. You do such a great job on all your lessons 👍
Great guitar playing, good song, simple but memorable from Lynyrd right on with you're lessons brother

Awesome! Thank you for watching! 🙏🏼
SCOTT ! Man I love this channel. Skynyrd is my favourite band and I don't think too many people actually know how many fantastic songs they have other than sweet home and freebird. My plans to get a skynyrd cover band set up in Australia which is where I'm from.
Huge thanks for doing these videos.
All the best for the Xmas period and New Years.
Nikolai
Hey Scott are you gonna post a video talking about Gary and play some of awesome licks it’s sad 😢what a legend
I love the way you play and teach! With a lot of tricks and details that takes you to the Lynrd Sknrd sound”. I’m looking forward to see a Working 4 MCA lesson here 🙏🏼. Thanks! Geetings from Spain 😉

Great job can’t wait to see APB this summer in WV
Great lesson, great song. I’m glad you’re back!
Thanks for all these videos - I appreciate the detailed attention given to the song. This is such a great tune with some unique little licks in there that make it special. Been working on a solo acoustic set to play out live here in southern NJ (Ed King's old stomping grounds), and I'll be adding this one to the list.
Yeah man. Great song!
Stellar job. I'm new to your videos, longtime Skynyrd fan. You possess a keen attention to detail. Thank you for posting.
Thanks for watching, George! 🤘🏼

Mr. Raines, Could you do a Skynyrd request on Something Going On, and thanks so much for sharing the Ed King stories.
Cool lesson, with a lot of nuance, captured sound of original, thanks
Excellent, as always!
Scott, I tip my hat to you. A Big Thank You !
Scott - Love your vids...fantastic! Here's a request (or vid suggestion). You should do a review of your home studio (jam room/man cave). That room looks really comfortable and intimate. Would love to see how you are set up, your signal path, amps, sims (Kemper/AxeFX, etc.), and that beautify of a studio desk. Love how that is arranged and staggered. Who makes that? Anyway, thanks for all the great vids.
Scott, these videos have inspired me to dust off my guitar and start playing again. Same songs I attempted to play years ago before youtube. I thank you as well as many others have that you have took time to create these videos of Lynyrd Skynyrd songs.
I do have a song request , basically I would like to learn the intro of Highway Song, Thanks JJ
James, I love to hear that! I'll add that one to my list. Thanks for watching!
Great! Thanks
Really, really good....thank you
Great lesson and great playing as usual. Missed your pooch sleeping on the couch. Hope he and your family are doing well!
Yeah, Buddy had better things to do. Thanks for watching! Stay safe out there.
Just found you man..love the content...man I'd love to see last rebel or I need you
The open chords really bring this song together.
Thank you Scott!
Lol 2 michaels and 2 Richards. Great names loving great music 😁
Love your vids Scott, I'd love for you to do a tutorial on Life Without You by Stevie Ray Vaughan, theres so many small details I know I haven't nailed yet, Thanks.
FANTASTIC... WELL DONE!!!!!
Thank you!
Awesome tutorial

Awesome lesson picked up some stuff I didn’t hear/see in the recordings, was also wondering if you could do a lesson on “I know a little” having some trouble with it, keep up the awesome work though!! really appreciate helping pass down these awesome tunes to others
Great one! It’s on my list. I’ll get that one soon.
Great song, great tutorial! Thanks!
That was great slide playing actuallt. Thanks
Thank you for watching!
Nice! Please do Roll Gypsy Roll!
Great song! It’s on my list. 🤘🏼
@@seraines yes such a great give me back My bullets deep cut.
Hi Scott, a friend of mine told me he thinks he thinks you were with APB a few years ago when they played a Mt Cheaha HD bike rally. Just wondering if you remember doing it. And just wanted to say I hope you’re doing well despite all our current difficulties. Love the channel and the lessons, been a Skynyrd fan since 73 when I first saw them at Jacksonville State University. All the best to you, I love what you do, hope to see you live sometime soon. All the best to you bro👍
I don’t remember doing Mt Cheaha, but it doesn’t mean I didn’t do it 😂 If it was “APB” and was after 2010, I was probably there. Sometimes Artimus makes other appearances, but it’s never billed as “Artimus Pyle Band”.
thanks scott
Could you please do a lesson on “Need All My Friends” great song that I’ve never seen a lesson for.
Dang. Forgot about that song! 👍🏼
Glad I found you....DAMN!!!!!! just AMAZING!! IMMEDIATE Subscribe!
Thank you! 🙏🏼
@@serainesNo NO....Thank YOU....LOL LOL
Your perfect!
Far from perfect, but I do the best I can. Always learning 🤘🏼
another great lesson
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Scott can you do a tutorial on all the guitar parts on The Price You Pay by Molly Hatchet?
Scott, this is how I always heard it and how I always played it with the open E’s and open A’s, but when Gary plays it live, he does F, F#, G and A#, B, C. Don’t know why he does it this way because that’s not the way it is on the record! Have you ever noticed that?
I have. I mostly try and stick to the original recordings.
Hey Scott can you show us what is going on on Things going on?😂
Best
Do “that smell” by Lynyrd Skynyrd!
Hey can u do was I right or wrong
U have a Gibson Sg I’m Jealous ive always wanted one
I love u
what happened to Tom Segudo did he decide to give up guitar? and took all his Skynyrd stuff down and went and does golfing lessons now?
APB has one original member of Skynyrd, where Skynyrd now has none...
It would be nice if you explained what you're doing
Cry for the bad man pleasee!!!! 🙏🙏
Adding to the list. Thank you! 🙏🏼
I want to ask about the open chords but ....
Could you name a good channel that teaches how to play more of the Gary parts
I don’t focus on any particular player’s parts. I try to touch on them all. Let me know which specifically you are wanting.
@@seraines can you do a lesson on Gary’s parts in gimme back my bullets
@@JustusLanders That one is on my list. I’ll be hitting all the guitar parts. I think it is one is my next ones to be filmed. Keep a lookout for it. 🤘🏼
AINT SYNARD IF IT DONT HAVE SOME HONK.
THAT SMELL
Brilliant lesson, but too difficult for me. Too fast.
See if slowing the video down helps. Run it at .5 setting.
Nice SG
