I just purchased this treadmill and I think it will be perfect for my needs. Mostly I will be using it when the weather is not nice outside or when I prefer to walk inside for some reason. It seems to work just fine. It's quiet, sturdy and has a nice long walking belt area. One thing is not very clear in the manual though. It seems to suggest that when you use the Mode button to set the time, calories and distance the machine will turn off (stop the belt) slowly when "the set time, set calories and set distance in any mode decreases to zero," and display "END". The display, however, does not count down to zero. It counts UP as you use the treadmill i.e. it shows the time you have been walking, the calories you have burned and the distance you have walked (plus the speed) so the numbers will never count down to zero !! Is this a misprint in the manual ? Does the treadmill software expect all 3 "goals" to be met before it turns off ? Is there a way to set just one goal (e.g. time) and have the machine turn off when that goal is met ?
The treadmill works fine. It's just the wording about countdown which is not clear. You set either the time, the distance or the calories as a goal and then it counts down. The wording implied that all three goals were set at once.
