They are all in shady areas. I just did this same video yesterday. It was in a smoke shop. Now your video pops up on my yt suggestions. I'm not a fan of goldbacks but had to do it for the experience. I wish it would give option of how you want the denomination. Great content

That is really cool and it's great to see that more people are realizing that our currency needs to hold some value outside of just debt. That being said I would love to have 1 of each state and size so I can make a black and gold wall frame for them. I think it'd definitely be an art piece and worth every penny. I won't be "stacking" them though. All that being said I would love a chance to win one of those to help me get closer to that goal of working out the frame concept. I have a general idea of what I'd like it to look like but definitely need to figure out the measurements first
What's the point of having to put an account number and such? I'm a little more keen on the "Gold Vending Machine" concept. Plus the markup on GoldBacks is absolutely ridiculous.
Definitely need to work kinks out but love the idea of Goldback atm.

Btw. We are working on having debit card option soon. It’s a bit complicated given all the banking rules. Stay tuned for that option

Awesome video!!!! You got a good price for the gold backs too I think 🤔. Maybe if you want 1’s then just buy them one at a time. Easier said than done in a bad neighborhood I imagine but no guts no glory 😁🤷🏻♂️. The 5’s do look look cool though

Calling them "One Dollar Goldbacks" is like saying "One Yen Pound" it makes no sense because they are GOLDBACKS, not 'dollars.'
You are calling them "One and Five Dollar Goldbacks," this is incorrect, they are not Dollars, they are simply Goldback(s).
what can you buy with 14 goldbacks? can you get 60 dollars worth of groceries or gas?
Probably not gas but more than likely at a farmers market they’ll take them as payment. Thinking forward a few years from now I personally believe GB’s will be more recognizable and accepted. Just my opinion though. Stack what you like 😎🤘✨
I bought a 5oz bar of silver. They had goldbacks too but I hadn't heard of them before.

They aren't actually dollars. These goldback notes are just called goldbacks and aren't based on dollars.
However, if you had a lot of money to blow, you could get 1000 goldbacks and trade it in for a gold 1ozt coin with a face value of $50 dollars, and deposit it into a bank and get just face value, plus whatever inflation eats away from it.
So technically, based on that, you could argue that a goldback is only worth 5 cents as a coupon for a government-issued legal-tender gold coin.
So if the gold ever does become worthless, they can still be redeemed for US dollar legal tender. But it's more likely for USD to plummet before gold does.
Pretty cool.

Improvements are being made constantly and thanks to folks like you, we are constantly learning. More locations add being rolled out in Vegas and other parts of the country soon.
