    Love the video!!! Just bought a milk cow so cheesemaking is next on the learning curve list 😊
    Also- what is the name of this song? I’ve noticed it on a few other homesteading videos and I really like it but can’t find the name anywhere

    oh that looked delicious when it was cut into. yeah making cheese is a lot of work and i can go to walmart but cheese isnt being made to eat its being made to be made. i play around some, try some weird stuff and im usually nicely surprised but i love when my friends try it and give me back some input. it can be addicting

    How long to age for good flavor? And how to simulate a 55• F frig with 80% humidity?

    Did this cheese taste similar to the ones we get from the grocery store? Also I heard that Mesophilic culture could be replaced with buttermilk I'm not so sure how true that is.

      Yes that is true.
      I use clabber, which is a cultured milk, effectively the same as buttermilk, to make my cheeses.
      It is the traditional method. The flavour is wonderful.

    Well I guess i would have to spend a whole bunch of money just to get started. I guess I'll stick to making my own butter, and raising my chickens.

      It doesn't even make sense.

    I consider this a fail for adding unnatural coloring.

      Annatto comes from flowers, use Google. You don't need to project failure into this universe. Just cleanse it from yourself

    • @Chipwhitley274
      @Chipwhitley274 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @KillingFloorSkip ,
      Flowers are not natural ingredients for an animal derived product... full fat cheese turns yellow naturally... which is why low fat cheese has to color it with a foreign substance.
      I am a carnivore... I don't eat plants... plant compounds cause allergic reactions for mMr.
      I cleanse plant toxins from myself.
      Next time research what is natural to cheese before attempting and failing to condescendingly correct others.

      @rubygray7749 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It's not necessary to use annatto, but it us a natural ingredient.
      Do you wear dyed fabrics? Why not just wear natural beige clothes all the time?

    • @Chipwhitley274
      @Chipwhitley274 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @rubygray7749 ,
      It is not natural to animal products.
      My dyed fabrics don't contribute to metallic disease.
