Really very well done. If youlike this sort of story, see if you can find ELEVEN BLUE MEN and THE INCURABLE WOUND by Berton Roueche. These are stories of medical detection that originally appeared in THE NEW YORKER magazine. They are a great read.
The history behind the FDA is truly fascinating. It put an end to a number of atrocious abuses. BTW, I thought fruitcake was used exclusively as a door stop.
Anyone else spot the mistake by the actor who played the doctor in the hospital .........? (He leaned over the woman in the coma, checked his watch - WITHOUT holding her wrist to check her pulse!!! Hilarious).
Bickford was a distinguished actor nominated for Academy Award three times. He was leading man to Greta Garbo in "Anna Christie", among other prestige films.
This was a good series. I wish there were more episodes available. Thanks for posting this one.
AGREE!!!!
Excellent..thank you
Thank you!! More great obscure stuff!
Never knew about this show , Good story 🥰👍Thank you 😃
James Millican was great in westerns and film noir crime dramas. He passed away far too young at age 45, of a heart attack.

I've heard that too. Haha...
James Millican, the star of this episode, died the same year it was broadcast.

Maybe he was late for lunch?
Actually, his right hand is near her wrist out of sight. Trouble is, he didn't count long enough.
Sounds like the Racket Squad theme...
