Only the base stats + IVs come into play. Otherwise, pretty much every shadow pokemon would always win CMP over non-shadows.
Think about the spam/bait label next to hydrocannon on shadow feraligator with a perfect 5 shadow claws every time! When HC is the bait and you’re doing 7 damage with each shadow claw people are going to stop crying about scald real quick 😢

I highly suggest trying the team, I ONLY run teams that are hard ANTI-meta mons. Feraligatr going from like rank 400 in GL and UL then going to top 10 for both leagues is insane. I’m glad I kept my rank 13 shadow feraligatr for UL. The new season seems good tho. Especially since premier leagues are coming back

HELP, I keep LOSING! My current team is Azumaril lead, skarmory, and vigoroth. Ive invested stardust into them, they all got their 2 moves and all that. I don't want to invest too much resources building an entirely new team, but I keep losing 9 out of 10 matches. What is the minimal change i can do for a better team, can i replace a single pokemon?
Run skarmory in the lead and azu as a closer. Thank me later. I have hit expert this season with shadow skarmory rank 12 lead, clodsire safe switch running mud shot stone edge and earthquake, azu with hydro pump and play rough as a closer. If you get a crap lead just switch into Vig, or in my case clodsire

I was in striking range of Expert when league turnover hit back to OGL. Any serious climbing I'm able to accomplish only happens in limited meta cups. Any tips for being able to handle the wide the open Great League?
I’m confused by the brick break buff. If the energy didn’t change it would be a psychic fangs clone, but if it got 5 more damage it would’ve been a poison fang clone. Instead it’s neither?
I was hoping for a surf and scald nerf to get lanturn whiscash and poliwrath in check but nope. We get more water users top of the meta. Worst update since the sky attack nerf
I dont get it. All the mudbois are right there perfectly at the top of the meta and they dont check them down to a less annoying level of play. Its going to be a season of double water backlines again @neonmangoz

@neonmangoz yeah basically confirmed. Ran greninja with Arial Ace and hydro cannon with a s. Tentacruel and s. Quagsire (aqua tail on s. Quagsire is busted and no1 is talking about it). Swepted my first 4 sets. Only team that beat me in the final set had a clodsire cresslia with s.Torterra in the back
How do I get rid of frustration on my shadow empoleon? I tried using an elite charge TM and it said i can't do that right now. Do we have to wait til another rocket event?

You can only tm away frustration during team Go rocket event. You don’t need to use elite tms. Regular ones would do the trick.
