I found on marketplace a ultra max ll today for 125 and went an hour to get it and it still had blue on it and the packings looked decent but the lower o ring was gone and they gave up and a little work on my part I got a good machine but that thing I would worry. The wiring mistake was amazing worthy of a cartoon x Ray. Gives us work but how do you charge? A minimum I guess.
Hi there sir your videos are amazing. Direct and to the point. 🎉. I have just bought a finish pro 395 air assist airless and there is a lot of rust inside. What the pickup tube. Lower ball and machine filter. It doesn’t want to hold pressure. I will be rebuilding ( new packings and balls. Checking the sleeves and the metal washer under the lower ball. A good cleaning of everything I can. My main question is what to do about the rust. My thought was to run and maybe let sit a while with white vinager or rust remover of some kind. What are your thoughts And if some rust remover is a good idea what. brand. type how long to let sit. Also if it would be bad for the packings I can replace them after it sits. Thanks in advance if you read this and respond. Your vid’s on these are the best I have found.
What I saw so far is in the filter housing. I took the pick up tube off( the lower part you hit with a hammer to remove where the lower ball is) I saw rust in there. The water that came out had a fowl smell like had been in there a while.
@@nickwinkler720 the smell will go away. First thing I would do and run it with water and see if it gets pressurized. If it does see how long it holds pressure. Let me know what you get. Don't be concerned with the rust at the moment
So update. I took it apart and checked it over real good lower ball area was filthy. The seat was fine. The package were fine. The sleeve was fine. Primer valve spring rusty as hell and got another one ordered. I put it under pressure and it just kept leaking out the primer I can’t believe I didn’t notice that before. I also have a 650 with less than 200 gallons through it that the packing shit out. I’m replacing those in a day or so. What oil do you soak the leathers in. I was thinking mink oil. It’s what I use in my boots.
Hi Brian, I have a 595 PC pro. When I turn the power on and turn the pressure knob I get a buzzing sound and nothing else, a finer buzz in prime & heavier buzz sound in higher pressure. Nothing else happens.. so I thought it could be the transducer as your other video had directed just changed it and same buzzing sound. Do you think it could be the actual pressure knob? The potentiometer?

This is a situation that I highly recommend taking the machine to a certified shop.
