    • @SandwichDoctorZ
      @SandwichDoctorZ 5 ปีที่แล้ว +35

@@SkittlesInYourHand it's ultimately just another way of relying on another person's opinion, rather than any form of fact, to understand how smart you are. As a result, it could mislead you to make you feel better or worse about yourself in a way that's not likely accurate. I mean, what was the IQ of whoever invented IQ tests? There are many types of intelligence too; logical / numerical, creative, social, etc. It's not something anyone can just measure with a number.
And either way, intelligence shouldn't ever be about making yourself look better than others or show off. What's the point in being smart if you just intend to be a show off without helping anyone? That's no different than being arrogant. In that case, there doesn't really need to be a measurement or number.

    13. Being a self aware individual.
Maybe deep thinkers are very much aware of the uniqueness of (their own) individuality (way more than "normal" people) - making them feel kinda lonely, almost all the time.. Guess I'm a deep thinker too - yes: I'm deeply aware of how amazing it is to be an individual. And yes: I feel lonely, quite often.. When I do, I go read about science (e.g. Quantum Physics), Biology (Symbiosis), etc. as a way to forget this miserable feeling of loneliness.. (Yes, sometimes it really sucks to be.. me.. Despite the fact I'm supposed to be very intelligent.. And many say I'm a weirdo. I like it, it's good to be kinda weird - as long as you don't harm anyone).
But the best thing is I also realize others (people as well as animals) feel lonely too - and I LOVE to give them kind attention and (if I got enough energy) lots of Tender Loving Care. Because I know for sure: "If you make (at least) two persons happy - no doubt you're gonna be one of them ! " And that's absolutely awesome.
May this happen to y'all, my dear fellow (lonely) deep thinkers.
    Blessed Be.

If youre so lonely, stop reveling about how unique you think you are and go join a group or club with people who like science biology, math, statistics, or whatever youre interested in. Quantum physics is the #1 thing people in the comments section mention that they are studying, cause you think itll make you look smart so of course when you say you read science you throw out there that you read quantum physics as one. Symbiosis is a tiny, tiny fraction of biology, and theres not that much to it, its just the relationship between animals, parasitic, beneficial, etc. if youre so lonely there are plenty of people who read about science too. 6.1 millions peopel are subscribed to national geographic alone. Tho oddly enough I believe myself to be good in social situations but that's cuz I adapted to learning how to talk in diff situations.) That is not correct. You need to understand how somethings are connected and how some things are caused by the same root that you need to see. You kinda have to do a correlation study, not for real, but rather logically in your head. I personally always try to corelate peoples behavior with intelligence, their past etc. It's why they all seem to be the same - they are correlated

Yes the experience of depression seems to be a part of this personality and intellectual type. Im also writing as someone who has both experiences. It may be the deep intellectual/emotional over analysis and high sensitivity aspects of experiences that make us prone to depression. Despite this we are not stupid yes. Depression is a reality and a medical condition. It is also treatable. If the impetus to fulfill our potential is greater than the pull and pressure of our depression then fight and choose. Depression does exist and it may always be there, but it can be controlled. Your intelligence however deserves its wings, to be fought for as it is all of you too. potential. Treating your depression does not diminish your intellect, it free it. I suggest seeking support and help.

ive been thinking of how a lot of people see things in this crazy world . one thing that seems so plane to one person could hold some possible wisdom for another to help others around them . its a great thing when someone with wisdom witness such wisdom passed around helping this crazy world in some way . the old willow tree for example . we go throw life trying to find who we are but when you do i hope you are well rooted in who you are and always try to reach for the sky but always try to remember where you came from . if the winds of change try to find the wisdom to know when to bend and if you need to weep for that witch is lost like an old friend then do so knowing that that friend may not have ment to walk the same path as you for long and try to always keep reaching for the sun . just like the wise old willow we hold are scares close not to cause pain but to remind ourselfs the price of wisdom is not just from what you lost but from you gain . .
this might be some pointless rambling but just had to get this out there and if you can get something out of this i hope it helps you . as for ordinary things and wisdom what do you see in some of the ordinary thing in our world that others may not . /

But honestly I'd rather not be around people that chitchat all day about bullshit. Bunch of stupid small talk and gossip, I just ignore it and stay busy with work. I'm also the one that has to solve their problems since it seems like some of them are incapable of thinking or figuring things out themselves. My favorite is when we have meetings and while everyone is talking to figure things out I stay quite. I'll then process all the information and do further research on the topic. An hour or two later I go back to the boss and oftentimes I end up solving the problem or I give them something to look at from a different perspective. It's very frustrating.

I am so happy that I found this video cause I used to think why I am different then people around me , sometimes I thought is it wrong to be a little weird , quite and curious cause I always live in my own head that's why I don't have many friends or any boyfriend ( what's the point to have a boyfriend when all u are going to do is breakup, i don't know maybe I believe in love , not in fun, people live in relationship just for fun but in my opinion it just waste a lot of time uhh..,) and I never get bored and I love to learn everything , no matter what it is , I love all the subjects and sometimes that's why I become confused about what to chose .i only love to talk to people who are same age as mine and my type and around them I am considered quite funny. Cause they laugh at my every single joke and talk nonstop about everything like about favourite movies or actors but only when I am around them .other people( who are not my type) think I am shy( though I am DEFINITELY not shy, I just don't like to be in their conversation) and sometimes they even think I am rude .though I am proud at my nature but I found myself very often wondering is it wrong to be so weird ?

I’ve always been a deep thinker. Since my childhood, I always observed and analyzed people and behaviors. It hugely helped me to understand a person better and predict his/her behavior beforehand. As I grew up, my deep thinking and analyzing skills helped me to have an insight of my own existence in the society, or the modern world. I could clearly see what I am to society, what I have as family, social and human responsibilities and how I could live a purposeful life. I could choose the job or the friends or the place which would last longer. I rarely took impulsive decision - unless I wanted to enjoy some funside of life ... like taking overnight overseas trip etc.
My observing, thinking and analyzing skills have helped me to perform better at work, resolve conflicts and hence now my colleagues count on me for what seems to be a trouble in the team. Having come from mountains of a 3rd world country where I spent my 15 years of early life without knowing what a car would look like or what a TV would be, I call it an achievement to make my way to the mid-level corporate success today. Thanks to God for making my life easier... #Blessed#Deep#thinkers

I think the most frustrating think about being a deep thinker is finding someone to actually have a real conversation with that is on your same frequency, and I really don't mean to sound like a stuck up. I tried socializing and engaging others on stimulating conversations but almost always falls flat and me being accused as crazy, arrogant, brainwashed, and even Godless. So, I stopped trying (learned it the hard way), and just watch and observe people, most times I stay in my head having multiple opinions on a particular matter or subject and looking at every possible scenario of positions one can take on it, and debating this positions against each other to test their rationale or validity, and because I do this, I almost always have unique opinions on things I say to people. I found that this unsettle most people as a result, so I just shut myself off and resort to my tranquil inner world and books, but I do speak when my opinion is sort and believe me I don't hold back on nothing.

Hardware or anatomy of the brain along with its chemistry plays a role but thought-intensive detailed work on ourselves and creative life lead us there, we deserved it, its a gift we deserved we should remind ourselves, its crazy world.. sorry where was I? Hmm.. Aha yes for those tests there are timing and patterns we should analyze and get through, but its deep questions[last ones in quiz] that require deep and thorough analyzation.. so it kinda requires depths of two crazy minded fellas to synchronize, well we all know that is a rare thing due to our critical analyzation and our own way of problem solving :)

I found this video about 7 days ago , I am about 61 years old and I spend most of my time alone but I never fell alone , there is someone her name is Donna and I first saw Donna with my mind when I lived at 2373 Cottage Way Pine Grove Ca 1980 years later I am in Arkansas Rehab Center where I see Donna with my eyes for the first time later August 25 1999 just saying I take deep thinking very seriously Donna knows this
My bucket list is I and Donna go to the Moon rocks , the pyramids all of them and see every part of them spend a lot of time at NASA and more .

I think is a good thing and a bad thing too,we over think things too much is such a pain,as for me for example,if there's a problem I can't solve or remember and by any chance get saved by someone else, I have to solve or remember that thing i couldn't do before even if it takes me weeks,it will always be at the back of my mind...to solve that task if not,its like an itch that you can't get rid or if that makes sense 😬😑
