Sarah Acres I don’t really know to be honest ! I have a few chronic illnesses(physical are my main ones and a couple mental) and I have a lot of symptoms for another illness called pots so for me it could be that but I’m not diagnosed with it for definite so I really don’t know aha ! Sorry xoxox

Hiiii! Just wanna thank ya for everything you do and ask one question,
Basically, I got put on Fluoxetine on Tuesday. I’m 14 and it’s my first time experiencing meds. I’m on 10mg this week and I go up to 20mg next Tuesday. Maybe more depending on how my monthly assessments go.
Have you ever been on Fluoxetine or has anyone else and if y’all have, what should I expect? What will it be like? So far I’ve just been tired a lot I guess but yeah. Anything I should do to help me out?
I take them at 7pm every night. Any tips? :) xxx
I was on fluoxetine for a year and a half eventually 40mg a day and it was by far the worst meds they ever put me on😢
Marissa Ramsey ah damn I’m sorry! It was kind of a split decision for them. Since I’m so young they were extremely reluctant to put me on any form of medication however when they did the ‘on a scale of 1-10....’ questions and all my answers were 1, they kinda just said they would and that’s what he gave me. I’m really hoping it helps because I’ve been through so many therapies and non medicinal treatments however none of them positively effected me. This is my last resort before CAMHS discharges me. I’m hopeless.

I was on fluoxetine for about 6months, I found that it didn't help me in anyway. I witnessed no side effects. Hopefully it helps you :)

i had to go there once it was very strict we coohave friends doors stay open (yes even bathrooms) i couldnt call my parents for 48 hours or see them i couldnt take a nap or read a book during the day it sucked ass i feel for you i just subscribed

I was in a psychiatric hospital when my 16th birthday happened and I didn’t get to do anything for it. I got a piece of cake the day after it.
Its astonishing how shitty American psych wards are compared to ones in England holy shit. There have been many times iv absolutely needed to be in one to get help yet was scared because it's like you come out feeling worse than when you go in and it does absolutely nothing

I have been told by one of my friends who went into a psychiatric hospital that you can’t have any electronics in the hospital while you are there btw we live in Tennessee so it’s different here and it sucks. Were you in a private facility?
