JasminsJourney do some research on your specific medication and the effects alcohol has on you when on it, but most medications just make you drunker quicker.
Disclaimer; not a professional - just someone on meds’ who likes alcohol 😂👍

Girls, how does alcohol go with your psych meds? My psychiatrist told me, I wouldn’t be allowed to drink while I’m on medication 😕

I'm on seroquel 200 mg. If I drink 1 spritz I can feel the effect. I get easily tipsy. Usually you shouldn't drink with meds or at least try to drink a little and that's it
I’m on sertraline and personally don’t have any issues with it being effected by alcohol, I think it’s very dependent on the individual person and also the type of meds
@@heartbreakerink8696 sertraline is a no no to mix with alcohol. It interferes with the medications ability to work properly and also enhances the negative effects alcohol has on your body. I work with people on anti depressants, sertraline being with one and they aren't supposed to consume alcohol at all. I guess it's the persons decision if they want to risk tampering with their meds but it'll be their fault if it does. All for a night on the bevy 🤷🏻♀️
Dippy Hippy personally I asked my dr when I was prescribed it as I’ve had other meds that have been an issue with alcohol and I was told that it’s perfectly okay to drink when taking sertraline but to stop if I have any negative effects (fatigue etc.) Obviously it’s a personal thing for each person but for me I’ve had no issues with sertraline apart from initially side effects and I’ve seen my dr regularly as well. That doesn’t discredit what you’re saying because I’m sure for some people it’s a definite no go but for me I’ve found it okay :)
