I think this song fits really well with the current events of the smp without technoblade becoming a traitor. The whole line with “men are fools men are frail give them their hope and they hang themselves” is reflected really well Tommy is young and is given hope from technoblade he believes that he is the good guy so he is destined to win he is foolish and technoblade only helps his foolishness. Meanwhile Wilbur doesn’t trust technoblade and the “hope” that is being given to Tommy is slowly eating away at Wilbur until he goes full on crazy thinking there is no one he can trust Wilbur is frail and it’s because of technoblade. Without technoblade being a traitor Tommy and Wilbur had essentially hung themselves and lost it seems like Tommy is bouncing back from this though while Wilbur is falling further into deception and just as a closer guys remember this is all just role play and not actually real I just thought this song really highlighted some strong points of the story.
This kinda aged in a strange way. It talks about if Jschlatt eliminated Wilbur and Tommy, he'll be seen as some evil Sith lord, but if he let the two run rampant and free, he'll be seen as an irresponsible leader. Now, it sorta flipped. Wilbur this time claimed that if they defeated Schlatt, they still lose, and even if they get caught, they lose either way. Not sure if its just me that feels this way but really, think about it.
I think it works both ways honestly if either of them make the move of permanently eliminating one another they’ll be the villain in the eyes of the people

Without technoblade being a traitor Tommy and Wilbur had essentially hung themselves and lost it seems like Tommy is bouncing back from this though while Wilbur is falling further into deception and just as a closer guys remember this is all just role play and not actually real I just thought this song really highlighted some strong points of the story.
This kinda aged in a strange way. It talks about if Jschlatt eliminated Wilbur and Tommy, he'll be seen as some evil Sith lord, but if he let the two run rampant and free, he'll be seen as an irresponsible leader.
Now, it sorta flipped. Wilbur this time claimed that if they defeated Schlatt, they still lose, and even if they get caught, they lose either way. Not sure if its just me that feels this way but really, think about it.
I think it works both ways honestly if either of them make the move of permanently eliminating one another they’ll be the villain in the eyes of the people
