The Big Bang Theory is an American television sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, both of whom served as executive producers on the series, along with Steven Molaro, all of whom also served as head writers. It premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007, and concluded on May 16, 2019, having broadcast 279 episodes over 12 seasons.

12 years is a long time for any TV series. Most shows have run out of good ideas by then, but Big Bang Theory was still fresh and funny. I guess Jim Parsons was tired of playing the same character, was younger than he, but BBT was a gem 💎 all the way to the end. I vote 🗳 for an annual reunion show.

The main characters (including Sheldon and Leonard's mothers) look amazing! In fact, they look better older!
TBBT is a classic. I am sure we all were very disappointed when it ended and would love it to continue, but it would be a huge mistake to do so. One of the sayings in Showbiz is, "always leave them wanting more." Some have also said, quite rightly, "ending a show at its high-point, with People wanting more, is the secret to its success and for that show to become iconic." So leave it where it is. Like Cheers, Frasier and Friends, which in many peoples opinion, finished too soon, they became iconic and cult by doing so. let TBBT become one of those and join the greats :0)
