Join us for a sit-down conversation with Max Blumenthal on Israel’s October 7th narratives that adorned mainstream U.S. media absent the application of any journalistic standards. Retractions often took place (e.g., “beheaded babies), but only when Israel issued them, deep into the perpetration of its Genocide in Gaza. How were such narratives/hoaxes spread/perpetuated? How were they debunked by investigative journalism? Why do patently debunked hoaxes linger?
The editor-in-chief of The Grayzone, Max Blumenthal is an award-winning journalist and the author of several books, including best-selling Republican Gomorrah, Goliath, The Fifty One Day War, and The Management of Savagery. He has produced print articles for an array of publications, many video reports, and several documentaries, including Killing Gaza. His latest documentary is "Atrocity Inc: How Israel Sells Its Destruction of Gaza."
All the Israeli soldiers and other responders have cameras and would have taken images of these atrocities if they were sickened and angered and would have been disposed to document these.
Speaking of security failures, the music festival was supposed to be over on 6 October but they received permission to extend it by one day.
Then they fired missiles at them, and blamed Khhhhhhamass.
And didnt the location for mufest supposed to be in another areas? And they changed the dates as well
The military apparently argued against the change of location. Then security wasn’t adequately provided. Now survivors are taking the government to court.

Yes,why would the israelis issue a permit just days before the oct 7 attack. Since im sure they knew this was coming in that theyd posted their practiceing on tiktok.

The insolvency of the Palestine issue is the contradiction of two beliefs that the occupied Palestine is the God’s promise to the Jews and Palestinian right to live in their own land. Isr switch back and forth between race and religion whatever suffice them most their interest.

I followed the work of the Gray Zone, Mondoweiss, and the EI on October 7 including the accurately debunked narratives trying to investigate the facts. However, this conversation was very helpful to understand the dynamics and responsibilities around the manufactured narratives. Thank you for sharing it!
