@@ghosti79depends on your definition of dead. More efficient methods? More AFK? Sure. But people didn’t use to play the game with peak efficiency in mind. It’s not dead if you just feel like relaxing and exploring what exists in the game. And there’s plenty of content out there for comp / trimmed comp that is still relevant for those reasons, but people don’t do them and then complain about lack of content 🤷🏼♂️
As somone who watches these types of vids for old school, its absolutely wild how these things are still in the game over 10 years later lol Also if anyone is curious the reason you cant kill the wolf woman again is because in the quest frenkenstrain is using the ring of charos on you to make you do morally questionable things. Once the quest is over your character remembers their ethics and wont kill her anymore

Stuff like this always makes me wish there was an RS3 randomizer. I also really want a questline where you progress through the eras of RS and have to deal with old mechanics like fatigue and the graphics progress throughout the quest. You could get knocked out in wake up in classic all confused and have to find ways to upgrade the graphics and mechanics.
Just do some old quests youll see some old graphics. Ive been catching up on a lot of quests lately because I hated doing them. Like the fremennik stuff, wow that area is so dated and the quests lol.
Not that we can really show it aside from old footage and screencaps, but classic had 2 unique quirks as well: 1). Certs (certificate of items) since there was no option to note items in classic to trade bulk to players or general stores players would have to go to an npc in draynor village and trade 5 of said item to get 1 cert. and 2). Inventory space used to be 30 slots not 28. But players usually kept a sleeping bag on them at all times to combat fatigue, so it really was only 29 items in inventory then.
I'd like to request more of these style videos. They help grow, maintain and deepen people's appreciation of RS3. Which considering the general negative air is kinda a lot of fresh air and fun to tune into as opposed to just "Oh look, more negative drama."

I still have 808 holy water in my bank stockpiled from long forgotten goals of tormented demons log hunting. Maybe one day I'll use it... Protoxx did you forget? That Dorgeshuun cave agility course is featured in a clue scroll. It's not as dead as you might think! At least worth setting up the grapple points.
My friend and I used to make holy waters to farm demon flash mobs :D It was a pretty good strategy before the power creeps. We got several titles, but never the frostborn or the blazing
Lol I made a bunch of the holy water for tormented demons and thought it looked cute to wear when doing herblore But yeah it functions as a ranged darklight for removing the TD shield
Even knowing about most of these from way back in the day like the paramaya ticket, I had NO IDEA about the Fairy Nuff gem healing thing. There's nothing post-quest that ever indicates that to be a thing. So bizarre, so 100% truly useless.

It really means something when you can kill pretty much everything, but you’re character’s emotionally unable to kill this one monster, the wolf-woman.. He felt sorry for her.
The game has gotten so big that there's dead content (like the Dorgeshuun agility course) all over the place. Most of the interesting transportation systems got completely invalidated when they added the Lodestone network, so more need for things like the ogre boat and the balloon system.
There is a very, very, VERY rare chance that during Gregorovic's fight, one of his shadows will instead spawn as one of the Barrows Brothers (or maybe only Ahrim) who has ONE MILLION health. He dies qhen Gregorovic dies and drops nothing.

Hiking videos with an action camera channel? I tried but destroyed my camera twice, on a bicycle and in the washer...haven't bought another camera since the washing machine incidence...I just thought of you did you could get some really decent photography of your city

Because I use a similar bug to hold an Fsoa with one hand using the assassin's walk override or hold it upside down using the plague doctors override, and make the necromancy lanterns disappear when using enforcers walk, I'd like to add this to my repertoire

The fairy nuff healing is OLD. There are a lot of old vestigial mechanics in the game. just shows how long it's been going.

Used to train combat at experiments with xp rate about 60k/hr back in 2006. Good ol' times man.
60k xp per h was high end stats, level 85-90 for that xp. Average players would remember xp rates of 25-40k per h

quite a lot of fun things to do on RS to train skills, but none of that matters when there are lamps/stars.

You don't need the golden bowl or bull roarer for holy water- the reed is enough so long as the vials are enchanted already. You're welcome :'D

I use Holy Water for tormented demons, other than that all the other content I've never touched.
I'm pretty sure the chest in the ogre area can only give you a emerald if you don't have one already

It's a graphical glitch caused by certain overrides on the zgs. I believe Halberd type overrides can cause it.
