TH-cam has introduced me to so many gospel singers from the southern gospel genre but my grandmother may she rest in peace and worship the lord for all eternity was the one who introduced me to southern gospel music and I can't get enough of this particular genre
Do you wonder why these people seem so happy ? It's because they know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and they've got something to sing and be happy about. If you don't know Jesus as your Savior invite him into your heart and ask him to forgive your sin and you can be a part of this happy family.
Amen! After I became a Christian I quit listening to other music that sang about cheating and drinking. And I only listen to gospel music now. What listen to that other music? Gospel music makes me happy!

Wish these great hymns were available for people to sing as solos etc. Much interest in restablishing good biblical music back into the worship experience. Gathier has done great things in keeping these songs and arrangements alive. Just wish I could take the arrangements and use them myself.

The Gaithers and their guests are so cool. Contemporary gospel is ok BUT this music hits home.
