9mm in a revolver makes sense, ammo and performance wise
@@ThePenn7 I agree. Especially shorter barrels
Proudly still made in my state . There used to be many, now not so much
The fact that these are 12 oz is impressive. Nobody else has been really been able to do that without spending 3x the money
My grandpop left me an old charter arms 38 undercover special that i can't find parts for. I guess it's from before this version of charter arms bought the company. I need the screw on the end of the ejector rod. And to figure out how to get it in timing a little better
Steel frames are around 20oz up to 23, just depends on caliber, capacity, barrel length.
Alloy frames are basically equivalent to a J-frame 38 in alloy.
Nothing outside of the ordinary in the market for similar revolvers.
Get a better Representation know your product and love it.
Interesting that they also came out with a revolver chambered in .32 H&R.
Needs a 3 inch with a full length ejector rod.
@@greylocke100 they have a 4” coming
@@thegundungeon I'd like that, but still hoping for a 3" with a full length ejector rod and maybe a round butt.
Kudos for introducing a two cylinder gun, minus 1/2kudo for requiring a tool to change them. Taurus's system is better. License it or come up with something else. A trigger guard that's also a lever to release, a button, something. I'm a Charter fan, have a 1986 Stratford mag pug with target sights and 2.25 inch barrel. I want that same gun in 6-shot, 3 inch. With target sights, you'd one-up the Rossi RP63 (which I might buy).
I saw a Charter 9mm revolver a couple years ago. It had roughly a 12 to 15 lb trigger. I emailed Charter and asked if I bought it, could I pay for a trigger job to lighten it up to 4-5 lbs. They told me no, so I never bought it. I have other brands in 9 and 10mm and like them a lot.
Did you get to try out the trigger?
@@mtower235 yeah it wasn’t bad. Wasn’t the best but not bad either on this particular one

@@CampDavid54 lol 😂
I cannot get behind anything from Charter Arms. While I like revolvers with swappable 9mm cylinders. I've owned enough Charter Arms to say never again.
@@Matteo_ what issues did you have? They mentioned sending me some T&E guns, I’ll know what to look out for
@thegundungeon It ranged from coming loose, end shake. Garbage triggers, inconsistent ignition. Issues with timing. Last two Charter Arms and I had were a pair of Patriot 327s. While not completely Charter Arms terrible I don't regret selling them.
@ well if they send me anything I’ll run it through the paces lol
How many recent models?
They invested heavily in CNC machines and other tooling to increase quality in recent times. Also if you put a little usual revolver elbow grease into them (just like any other DA revolver on the market that isn't 4 grand), they slick up and true up just as well. Consider the price point. Charter doesn't make a .327 that I know of, they are .32 H&R.
The Patriot was 327mag....I had bought The Professional 3" 357mag and it consistently shot with California windage, high and left. Not a terrible revolver but not adjustable sights. I've been tempted with the Target Pathfinder 22mag 4" adjustable sights though......@exothermal.sprocket
