Great video, really enjoyed your video! I have a question for you, can you stop these clubs on the green. I would really enjoy some more distance, but if they do not have the bite on the greens, there is no point in having the extra distance. Can you increase the loft on these clubs if necessary? Have a great day.

As always, great in depth content on you reviews. I have one question I was hoping you could help me out with. I'm deciding between the Callaway Rogue irons and the Ping G700 irons. Any suggestions on witch way I should lean towards? I love the look of the G700 irons but it sounds like the Rogue irons may be a better set of irons. I play at a 17 handicap. Thanks!

Played it perhaps 12 years ago but failed to recognise on film!

How do these compare to the G400, with regards to weight. My dad was fitted into G400 and cant get on with them,, the standard AWT shafts with the weight of the club head are to heavy, would these be better for a slew swing speed? O

I emailed Ping in the past about whether they can reduce the head weight of irons for people like me who have weak hands. I did not ask about the G700 but I did ask about the Iblade, i200 and I think the G400. They told me there are removable weights in the heads. He said the only way to get them removed is to request a lower swing weight and have that written on the order that gets sent to the factory and they will make the irons as requested. I was considering ordering the I200's with a C8 swing weight. To be sure they can meet your spec you have to email them in advance with the choice of shaft, shaft length and grip type and size. With that info they can tell you the lowest swing weight they can achieve with a given iron.
I believe the G400 and G700 head weights are the same since the website shows D0 as the default swing weight for both. Since the G700 is a hollow body design it's possible/llikely that there is no way for them to make it lighter. If you find out otherwise please let me know.

You got my curiosity up regarding the G700 swing weight so I emailed Ping this morning. They replied that you can request a lower swing weight at the time you place your order. They did not say HOW low they could take it.

Hi George, great work on contact PING! I would always urge golfers to head for a fitting and hopefully they can get swing weights dialled in then. S&H Royals, I would advise you head back to whoever fitted the clubs or a fitter you trust and work through why the clubs are not working for your Dad.

Thanks for the review. As far as set makeup goes, I do have a question. I plan on getting these to replace my G30's. The PW for G700's are 1 degree stronger than the G30's (44 vs 45). I currently play my next wedge at 50 degrees. Do you think that 6 degree gap, as opposed to five, in addition to the additional distance from new technologies in the G700 would work without replacing my wedges?

One length cobra vs g700 which is easiest to hit..

I don't mind the sound, I mind the huge offset. Not all of us are slicers.

I can understand that. That offset is pretty PING like though! :)

I have a question! Why is there a screw in the toe, when there is no urethane within?! lol.

The plug is actually a weight that balances with the weight in the heel and hozel to put the COG in the center of the face.

      Correct! Good knowledge George!

they can't put any foam in ... cause of patent infringement ... PXG already took TM to court over that ...but you could ...
also, very important , you need a vent for when you weld the face on ...

Klaus: Sure they can. Taylormade made foam filled hollow irons (ICW11's) back around 1990. Any patent on filling a hollow iron with foam
has long since expired. Unless PXG has patented the particular foam itself and TM was stupid enough to copy the exact chemical makeup, the PXG suit
doesn't have a leg to stand on.
